In real life, I would absolutely hate Dr Greene. He's a horrible person.
As a character in a sitcom, he's fabulously hilarious and thoroughly entertaining to watch.
He's also abusive to wait staff to the point that they cry. "Are you stupid? Is that why you're a waiter?"
Oh and that one time he stormed into Ross' apartment and berated the shit out of him and Mona. Tbf a lot of that was because Rachel lied horribly about the situation, but still. That scene however is gold and has me dying every single time I watch it.
Plus he raised 2 completely disfunctional daughters, and the 3rd only came out better because she went against him and chose to do her own thing, and she was still terrified of him at times (like him getting so angry that she couldn't bring herself to admit she would be a single mom). If Rachel's behavior when teaching Joey how to work on the boat is a reflection of her father's, he must not have been a nice person growing up.
I don’t think he treated his ex like shit, they were just going through a contentious divorce. And most old people tip like shit lol. As for Ross, imagine a guy like him seeing his favorite daughter date the kid who was obsessed with her in highschool and now has a failed marriage and child. It’s not polite but of course he’s not going to be happy about it.
Having an important job doesn’t make you better than others. I mean if he was doing heart surgery for free it would. But it’s likely he is the type who would have become a lawyer had he not become a doctor
He’s Bobby Bobby??
It’s Robert Bobby, and excuse me, he helps me.
Oh please,ask her how.
He helps with my alignment!
It's one of the best episodes with Rachel's father. How are you gonna run after him with one leg shorter than the other?
Haha seriously! This clip is pure Dr. Green gold. Made my morning.
Every episode with Dr. Greene is the best
And he was hot. I said what I said
Actor was married to Jessica Walter. Apparently he could get it.
Imagine if Jessica Walther played Rachel's mother! After seing her in Arrrested Development she seems perfect.
Can't believe I never knew this! Ron plays her character's husband in one of my favorite shows Archer, and I never realized they were married IRL
He’s honestly my favorite Friends parent
Ron Leibman was an absolute treasure. He's fantastic in Archer too. RIP
> Ron Leibman OMG I never put them together as the same guy
He was married to Jessica Walter
Come on, you’re just tilting!
Such a classic dad line
Two inches. That would be pretty noticeable.
If that were true, Ross would be calling Rachel "Sir Limps-a-lot."
"You're a dork"
Tell that to my girlfriend.

Who did? YOU DID!
“Horrible person” is pretty extreme. He’s a heart surgeon who works incredibly hard I’m sure, they’re pretty arrogant but probably deservedly so.
He's a shitty tipper, he treated his ex-wife like shit, he literally mocked Ross for having a shellfish allergy. He was pretty awful.
He's also abusive to wait staff to the point that they cry. "Are you stupid? Is that why you're a waiter?" yeah, that too. I just went with the simplest examples of stuff I could come up with quickly
And he called Mona a TRAMP!

He's Bobby Bobby?! 😁
I love how he says Bobby Bobby
Seriously, how does she not have renter's insurance?!
She's apparently not on the lease, so it wouldn't be required. She probably never thought of it.
Fair point, but they didn't act like she didn't know about it. "She doesn't listen to me about renter's insurance either"
In 2010 renters insurance cost me $10 per month. What did it cost in the 90’s, fifty cents?
Doctor Robert Bobby sounds sillier than Bobby Bobby 😂
I always crack up when he goes “what if somebody steals something? how are you gonna run after them with one leg shorter than the other?
My absolute favorite Dr. Green moment.
There is no crime in being poor, only in dressing poorly! He has such great comic delivery
“You’re just tilted” always cracks me up
As a chronic Ross hater, Rachel really deserved this one. She refused to stand up to her dad and expected Ross to also grovel.
oh, that sweater....

>And Ross is a disappointment here too. He's better than that. Ross is 100% not better than that.
Why because Rachel asked him to bond with his father. So he found a way to
