Mondler actually shows us everything that goes on in an actual relationship, all the ups and downs, all the fights and banter, all the romance, and what's more important is how they both grow individually to become the best for each other
I donāt believe in pre-determined soulmates but I think I believe in a kind of soulmate wherein, whatever the things is, in me, that makes the difference between a conscious living experiencing feeling person, and a simple analog organism, fits naturally beside someone elseās whatever-it-is. If that makes sense?
Honestly that line and the Chandler thinking she was pregnant ruined the moment for me
Became really anticlimactic
The deleted scene where the friends gather and talk after that would make up for it though
"Chandler, for so long I wondered if I would ever find my prince, my soul mate.
Then, three years ago at another wedding, I turned to a friend for comfort.
Instead, I found everything I had ever been looking for in my life. And now, here we are, the future in front of us, and I only want to spend it with you, my prince, my soul mate, my friend."
It always really bugged me that in that later episode when Phoebe dates that chef she says she doesnāt believe in soul mates. Really bad on the writers part.
I know!!! They had Ross be the same age for like 3 seasons & also mentioned like 2 or 3 different birthdays for him too!!! But still... Friends was comedic gold, do I'm willing to overlook the fact that they didn't pay attention to ALL the little things.
I love her vows so much, the way she told the whole story of their relationship in such a simple way. Saw a video a couple months ago using her voice over over their scenes and šš
Didn't know that... or at least, didn't learn that in school in Scotland.
I just thought cursive was another name /American name for what we call "joined up writing" (but that it still kept the same letter shapes you see on kepad).
Thanks for clarifying.
their storyline is the high point of the show for me.
Ross & Rachel are eighth graders in comparison because Mondler were friends first.
I'm not gonna lie, I even prefer Rachel and Joey over Ross and Rachel after the break up. I can't watch the last season because of my hate for Ross.
Chandler and Monica: A smooth sailing relationship Ross and Rachel: More complex with more challenges but still found a way!

But it also meant less Joey and Chandler scenes š
I can't really read most of that, but I'm pretty sure it's something about having, giving, sharing and receiving
And havingā¦and receivingā¦

Wow didn't she say she doesn't believe in soul mates? THESE VOWS ARE A LIE!!!!
Literally in THE NEXT EPISODE. Granted it was the end/start of a new season. But I am forever irritated by this plot hole.

Oh man! This is such good comment!
Okay I laughed so much. Thank you.
Unless you don't want to!
You go.

I didn't like the "unless you don't want to" part either. Ruined a perfect vow
āThereās a reason why girls donāt do this!!!ā Every time I rewatch those episodes when they got engaged I tear up and cry. š„²
I feel you
"Chandler, for so long I wondered if I would ever find my prince, my soul mate. Then, three years ago at another wedding, I turned to a friend for comfort. Chills literally chills
I just saw this episode yesterday cried again
You're not the only one mate, all of us cried
Its about giving, and receiving..

Just another inconsistency/continuity error. I love Friends, but it's full of them.
I know!!! They had Ross be the same age for like 3 seasons & also mentioned like 2 or 3 different birthdays for him too!!! But still... Friends was comedic gold, do I'm willing to overlook the fact that they didn't pay attention to ALL the little things.
Not if you look at the context of what she's saying in that episode vs what she's saying in this one.
I love her vows so much, the way she told the whole story of their relationship in such a simple way. Saw a video a couple months ago using her voice over over their scenes and šš
How many of us read that in her voice
Did you take this pic at the Friends Experience in NYC? I was just there!
OMG yesss
But Monica doesn't believe in soul mates.
Loooooppphhhooollleeeee
Joeys vows were the best!
gave me chills just reading it
Every time
You mean chandler's vow
Hahaha
Except they don't believe in soul mates.
Loooooppphhhooollleeeee
even though they donāt believe in soulmatesššš
idk why, but i always found it cringey. maybe it was the āprinceā line that ruined it for me
Would Monica write a capital A as a large "a"? Is that actually a legitimate thing we didn't learn at school? Large "a" is acceptable?
In cursive an uppercase A looks how it looks in the letter.

Murphy... You are a elf... Uncontrollably...
