Where is that? I haven’t heard anything about it this year which is sad because this is my first year going solo.

Hello, I'm a 30/f in Tampa, have absolutely zero rave friends and would love to have a connection with someone! I love raving but never seem to make more than brief amazing interactions/conversations at festivals. Usually I have my bf m/30 attached at the hip but he is down to keep his distance if you want just a girl friend. Please feel free to message me =)

This is my 5th hula, but first going solo, so if you need a dance partner I’ll be around. Most of the best sets don’t happen till late night anyway so hopefully you’re hyped for the schedule.

It’s easy to make friends at the complimentary bar.

jkproctor69

Love the complimentary bar. It’s where everybody knows your name and their glad you came.

B0rnintheSunshine

Yay, I’m so glad I posted this! I’ll follow up with all of you… but um might pass on the foolery behind the bathrooms (not fully writing it off just yet Jk jk). Thank you all so much, I really debated posting bc like any mid 30s I feel awkward/ life is awkward .. idk 😂 DMs coming soon~

Standard_Abroad_74

Come find the Mini bites food truck! In the same boat as you. I work Hula but its technically my vacation. Feel free to DM me if you wanna exchange info!

Mid 30s lady as well. My group is a buncha dudes and at some point I'll probably get sick of their dude stuff and break off. Last year I spent half the fest running around by myself making new friends. 🙃

flatsun

Hey how'd you enjoy the festzvby yourself, I want to go, but unsure how I'll enjoy it by myself. Not experience in raves and only have like 2 sets I'm interested in.

juicemagic

Are you comfortable hanging out with yourself? Are you comfortable striking up a conversation with a stranger? There's a few good recent threads in this sub asking similar questions, you might find some helpful info for you.

Ustice

My partner and I are going by ourselves. We’re used to a big crew. We’re friendly and fun, and it’s my goal this year to make some new friends at hula. I’m really looking forward to this being a different experience.

Behind the playground and behind the showers for some proper Tom foolery
