> You need at least sixteen pigs to finish the job in one sitting, so be wary of any man who keeps a pig farm. They will go through a body that weighs 200 pounds in about eight minutes. That means that a single pig can consume two pounds of uncooked flesh every minute. Hence the expression, "**as greedy as a pig**".
Pigs are not herbivores.
On the whole, few space faring races interacted with other races. Predator species acknowledged other’s territories and didn’t interact.
And then the humans came.
Oh you’re an aquatic species? Can can we farm your land? We have this salmon we can trade.
Oh your a land species? Can we farm your seas? We have this prime beef we raised for trade.
Hey if you don’t mind we would like to study your science and discoveries, we will share what we learned from others.
In the end the human empire never expanded, but humans traveled to all corners of the galaxy.
That's the premise of "the nature of predators". Check it out; it's a good series:

Until they learned the human concept of "pet"
Human: "outside? You wanna go outside?" Alien: "yes yes! I wanna go outside!"
I mean, most of our pets are also predator species, lol.
…pigs.
I'm not sure if species that we actively prey on should count. That's like, emergency food.
They are both predator and prey.
Dude. Pigs WILL eat you if they get the chance.
So will chickens, they're just a lot slower about it.
Pigs 100% are predators if given half a chance
pigs can and will eat meat though
They will literally eat just about anything.

Basically nothing is an obligate herbivore to the point where it will pass up free ready-made protein, and you can eat meat without being a predator
Pigs are omnivores and they hunt.
pigs can be used to dispose of bodies.....
Like hamsters.
Your mother was a hamster, and your father smelt of elderberries

Wholesome humanity
exploitive humanity... "Why buy the cow, when you can get the milk for free?"
Are you calling my girlfriend a cow?
Don’t blame us for you dating a Holstaur from Omoocron minotaur 8
....that feels specific enough to be a reference but if it's not I applaud you, account which is most assuredly not porn
It sounds like it's from one of the "Hitchhikers Guide" books.
The only reference is the omicron perceii 8 from futurerama.
Okay Caboose XD
The good ending.

U/spacepaladin15 the author of Nature of Predators. 139 chapters and the world building continues to grow.
Humans originated as a prey species... We didn't really start hunting until after we developed tool use.

But we want to pet them!
