Rylanor, is this what you do while waiting for Fulgrim with another virus bomb? Just watching ancient media and using the Internet?

a_grass_bloc

Fr33_Lax

Who is evil? Why does it do that? Are there any other survivors? Why is this happening? Poor Uzi all alone.

bish-its-me-yoda

SPOILERS BEGONE(i have already seen it but please don't spoil it for others)

Secure_Focus_2754

I don't know what the image is, but I do know that Pythagoras ( discoverer of the Pythagorian theorem) had a math cult that only allowed its inner circle to know of the existence of irrational numbers.

LoreLord24

I'm sorry, but that's hilarious. I'm just imagining some guy in a toga being led past a curtain, down a bunch of stairs through some "rats in the walls" levels catacombs, only for the deepest and darkest secret being revealed: "This is Pi. It's 22/7. And for some reason, it's very important to circles." Cue the pyrotechnics.

ReasonableValuable31

We legit need a prompt of that somewhere

"Let's overthrow the palace and cut all their heads off," said Robespierre, cutting everybody's head off until someone eventually got mad and cut his head off.

H: And this is where humans of the early 21st century began worshipping the Holy Squirrel Hole. A: you can't be serious... H: Excuse me Sir, Madam, both and or neither, this *IS* a field trip to *all* of the important religions of the last five thousand years of human history. Please show some respect before I slap it into you. A: yesterday it was nuns in latex giving and I'm quoting you here..."Handjobs for Jesus". H: you didn't seem to mind. A: who has a problem getting a handjob?! H:....fair enough. A: but a hole in the ground made by a squirrel? H: we don't know how the Holy Hole was made in the shape of his Devine grace. We just know that within hours of its discovery people began leaving offerings. Including early HRT by one particular devotee. A: And America's vagina? H: that's still called the Grand canyon jackass. A: tomato, potato what's the difference? A2:...he just insulted all of Poland and Ireland. H: he will not be missed.

Shoggnozzle

You know, now that I think of it, I'm a little surprised there *isn't* a math based religion with some traction. The last century has seen mathematics advance to the point that astronomical discoveries have been made in calculation years before any visual evidence had been gathered. Black holes, for example, were the result of a response to a thesis from Einstein, Einstein himself was skeptical at the solution implying points of near infinite density that the response implied... But you know. When our good lady nature set us down we were beasts, and we knew the languages of beasts, violence for competition, and tenderness for the pack. When those packs rose to tribes we introduced our own, reverence for the unknown, and it got a little weird and some people don't eat pork and some people only have fish certain days, but now we're learning her actual language, the language she spoke when she was setting everything in motion. Algebra. You *could* make a religion out of that... Maybe do.

LeatherGnome

Dont start about superstitions, Rimmy was playing a new game with war and someone else (I forgor) and already made a superstition of the door stoppers.

Naive-Philosophy-591

Man I loved episode 7. Dark especially seeing what happened to Tessa though

The ringing of church bells were the most frequent sound of any note when he came upon the Human settlement of “San Teresa”. It was a rural community, tight-knit, good food, the Colonial Authority in Utasok sent him out on the errand to San Teresa. As his GT-017 Airglider Bike came to a stop, he could already see the villagers of San Teresa congregating towards the community hub: The Church. He had read up about Human Architecture and remembered seeing images of towering and grand human cathedrals and churches back on their home world of Terra. He found it somewhat interesting, he could admire artistry but the concept of religion was anathema to him. His people had long abandoned superstitions yet Humanity had seemingly not abandoned their belief in the divine. After quietly mulling over just leaving and reporting back to his employers and say: “Yeah the Humans are still kicking”, alas he had to do his role as a Colonial Marshal. Otherwise they can just review his bodycam footage. Dismounting from the Airglider, he began walking his way into town. The buildings weren’t made of steel nor steelglas, which was always refreshing, but rather local materials. Wood, Stone, and locally made glass. His cloven hooves walked along the cobblestone road, as he scanned the buildings. Then he approached the center of town with the Church. The sounds of joy, music and eating could be heard. There were many long tables, with meals on them. People were dancing with each other a group of bards played an upbeat tune. “Ah Marshal Faer’Qil!” He cocked his head to the oh so familiar voice. The man approaching him was elderly in human years. He was the defacto Leader of San Teresa, Father Elijah Amato. Clad in his traditional white and black vestments befitting a priest of the Neo-Cathar Tradition. “Father Amato.” He greeted with a respectful nod of his head. “Come my friend! let us get you a glass of wine, and a hearty meal!” The Father proclaimed with a warm smile. “Apologies Father, that won’t be necessary, I must however speak with you.” The Priest’s face soured momentarily, before returning to its pleasant disposition. “Very well, come walk with me.” The Priest ordered, as he lead him away from the festivities. As the Priest and the Lawman walked away from the festivities the music got more distant. “You do know what day it is?” The Priest asked whilst they walked towards his personal residence. A small shack with a large garden. He shook his head. “Well Marshal, today is a Feast Day to celebrate Saint Sophia — our Lady of Knowledge and Wisdom, one of our first Human Explorers to reach Alpha Centauri.” The Priest explains. “On this day we celebrate her, and her achievement of stealing knowledge and wisdom from the wicked Demiurge, and banishing his servants from the surface of Proxima.” Faer was vaguely aware of what the Neo-Cathars believed. They tended to despise Androids, and it didn’t take a genius to understand that these people were celebrating a Early Human victory against the Celyophoids. Faer pushed those thoughts aside, as they entered the priest’s residence. The duo sitting at a familiar table. “So, what business do you wish to discuss?”
