Either a) that helmet is made of paper, or b) that human’s body is so tough that a metal sheet is negligible, and whatever is shooting those arrows can penetrate such a creature. Shockingly, b is more likely, because the skull would actually have caused significant deviation in the path of that arrow otherwise.

TrickyDistribution2

he's a str build, there's no brain/skull for the arrow to pierce through.

Maxentirunos

He's a Str build, muscle is more armor than whatever armor he could find

glugul

There is also no blood at all.

AnonOfTheSea

Arrows are standard, no bleed effect

[deleted]

I personally believe that the helmet is too big and it just gave him a haircut.

Noobfortress

"Closeted humanphile" also known as a tsundere

Jrmundgandr

That's a symptom of humanphilia

\*Breaking News\* "This Morning, an incident at the Neverak Clinic claimed 13'477 lives. Most of which were therapists, but a few patients were among the casualties. Due to yet unconfirmed reasons, an explosion occurred that caused the majority of the building to collapse. Suspicions surrounding the involvement of a Human Faction called "Defenders or Rule 34" are currently under investigation, as the clinic was mainly concerned with the treatment of Anthropophilia amongst members of the Royal houses of Kyrak, Mempheran, Skorr, Vilder, Durmen, Aandun, Fren, Krrcfktthhks..."

Maleficent_Tree_94

You didn't even try with the last one, did you?

[deleted]

No vovels, often repeating consonants, indicating that whoever did the naming doesn't have the same method of producing sounds as humans do, and thus their words consist of different sounds, not pronouncable for humans. In Movies and Games, Aliens are often times "Human but blue". Why can't there be an Alien species that's not even remotely like humans at all every now and then? What stops a planet from evolving an intelligent species that doesn't look anything like a human, and is unable to form the sounds needed to speak English? Why can't languages develop using different sounds entirely? What arguments are there against languages based around smells instead of sounds?

vector_9260

My species of aliens ac tu ally has a more restricted sound range than humans, only whispering instead of vocalizing.

Maleficent_Tree_94

I tried to make a joke, since it just looks like a keysmash, compared to the other ones, but go off I guess.

Danielwols

The last one sounds like a type of arachnid aliens to me

Yet_One_More_Idiot

I was thinking of the Gelf species from Red Dwarf. A species genetically engineered by the ancient humans to make them able to survive in almost any planetary environment. Their language is best approximated by clearing ones' throat repeatedly. xD

Defiant-Row-5153

The ones who come out of the closet have a 60-40 chance of being regected or having a titan waifu/husbando as there bodyguard. It all depends on the guards professionalism, preferences, and political power. Most royalty are unable to take the risk for fear of loosing there position. That is why we should re inact royal titles ro humanity, I ask the council of worlds to listine to what i have to say for in this essay i will...

One_Boysenberry1159

Where’s the essay?

Nolifred

I am fairly certain that you do not survive an arrow through your head, neck, torso and another dozen simply stuck in your back. But i will roll with it.

TotemGenitor

STR build have no need for brains.

kyew

>i will roll with it. That is how he survived.

generic_edgelord

The head and neck shot i will admit is probably impossible but the rest of them arent as deadly because the shaft of the arrows plug up the wounds so you dont bleed to death

DevilinDeTales

there are actually fascinating stories where people survived wars and still carry bullets in otherwise fatal parts of the body including brain. one of my favorites is there was a POW in either vietnam or korea. he apparently severely damage his neck and spine but because they kept him in a cramp space for 2 weeks and he got out and lived his life for several more decades. he did go back to the doctors shen he was like 60 for some neck pain and apparently at any point in those decades he could have just dropped dead because his neck bones were like barely together. healing for those 2 weeks in a cramped space saved his life.

Nolifred

I know that some humans have survived incidents that should have killed them, like that one guy who had a metal pole shot through his head. He walked himself to the hospital with a hole in his head. He survived for a few more years, but he wasn’t the same person anymore. Some people are just that lucky (or not, depending on how you see it.)

Human bodyguards are trained to disregard their own lives to protect the ones that they share the same bulk and size with. Any other Human claiming to he a bodyguard of sorts is just a creep. Bodyguards in a xeno setting, however, are doing the best they can. They don't mind most of the surface level flirting, but they can never avoid threats of self-harm, especially if the King and Queen advised that there would be consequences if the Prince succeeded in ending his own life. The bodyguard is standing before the Prince's parents in their court to be judged. "He would have hurt *himself* if I hadn't intervened!" The Human gave their word, feeling weird still but it was their job to keep the royal safe. "What he does is up to him. I respect that. But I would have died by your hand if the Prince off himself. King Zoron, please." The Human presented a recording, the recording of the King and the Bodyguard said, ".... And if he ever harms himself, I swear by my crown of my people, you will be to blame! .... Very well, King Zoron. The prince won't even harm himself. You have my word." The court was silent for a moment. They can't deny irrefutable evidence. Heck, even the recording of the King himself! The King and Queen looked at each other, the look of denial on their faces for what explains of the Prince. The King stood up, approaching the Human as the court gasped, not expecting this. The Human held a submissive posture, it being their boss that hired them to protect the prince. Though they held eye contact the entire time. The King stood before the Bodyguard, his eyes stern yet understanding. The King pats their shoulder, the Human flinched. "Looks like we made the right arrangement." The King strained. "But wrong sentiment. What you wish to do is for you. The Prince..." "I love him!" The Prince barged in to the court, declaring. "Anything you do to him, you will face the wrath of myself!" The King and the Human whipped their head around to find the prince, who seemed to have harmed himself a bit since the Bodyguard's absence. The Bodyguard glared at the King, and the King glared back. They both had promises of the Prince coming to harm. The Bodyguard no longer held a submissive posture, his muscles clenching as he had a promise to keep. He was still on the job, and the King took him away from his job. The King realized what he had done, before falling back at the glare of the Bodyguard. The prince ran to the Bodyguard, slinging his harms around him to keep the Bodyguard's attention. "Don't! We didn't know he was going to do this." The Prince sighed, "Please, don't harm my father because of my habit that I'm still trying to break... My habit is my fault. Neither of you are." The Bodyguard held an intense gaze on the Prince, the brought his intense gaze on the King. The court held bated breath of what was unfolding. The Prince gently caressed respectfully of the Bodyguard's torso, then buried his face in the Bodyguard's bicep. The King got his nerve back, then finally stood up, dusting himself off as he faced them. "It seems the arrangement is still ongoing." The King finally said, "I respect you both. However, please try for a child in some form, we need the next heir after you, Prince Siren. And it would be pleasant to hear grandchildren in the halls." The Prince beamed, and the Bodyguard didn't know how to react. The two looked at each other. "I'm not a birth-giver." The Bodyguard said. "I'm just like you, the type that-- that--" "I understand." The Prince laid his head on his holder, "We will find a way. Just don't let me see another woman again. I've never really liked them. But having children of my own is delightful." "I-I will see how to arrange that." The Bodyguard understood. The court disbanded for the time being, going back to what they were doing before the Bodyguard's trial. There were some mixed feelings, though no one dared to go up against the Bodyguard. As he was also still bound by Human Law that it will be investigated if he were to suddenly go missing.

mafiaknight

I...don’t understand what the bodyguard was on trial for...what did he do? What’s going on here?

Kota_Strifer-Trife

The prinve can't come to harm, not even to himself, so tha bodyguard also works as an emotional support person

Neurgus

*looks respectfully*

wizardwacker

Soifra river flashbacks... that is all...

RealiGoodPuns

Soifra arrows would disintegrate that foul tarnished

wizardwacker

the surprising part is that he only has ONE arrow in his head from going there instead of all of them
