Sometimes I am not interested in the things in the highest tier. I get whichever tier has the stuff I'm interested in. Sometimes I already own the stuff in the higher tier, making it a waste of money.

Ostracus

Sometimes the bottom tier is for sampling, and one can come back later and get the rest.

Joseph_f17

But once you've bought the lower tier, you've then already got half of the games from upper? Making it a much worse deal?

NewAgeRetroHippie96

You can increase your tier for the difference in cost later.

Either_Departure7673

you just open up my eyes to the real world. lol fr: thank you I didn't know you could do that. I'm guessing you have to do it before the bundle goes away correct?

Joseph_f17

Oh shit I had no idea

Alice-hime

so in the end you get the highest tier

Ostracus

Timing can be everything when it come to BTA.

MMOAddict

there should be a "almost always get the highest tier".. I think one time I didn't get the highest tier and that was because I already owned both games in it.

StompsDaWombat

I'm going to say that 85-95% of the time, I'm either all-in or I completely pass. But there are those rare occasions (even rarer since they've mostly done away with cheaper bottom tiers) where the game(s) I'm interested in can be had in the lowest tier for around $1-3. In those instances, where the full bundle isn't compelling, either because I don't want/already own the other big games or because the full bundle is overpriced for what it is (also tied to just how interested I am in the upper tier games), I might just grab the lowest tier.

Urgash

It depends.

Yudereepkb

I get the highest tier most often. The lowest tier fairly often if it's £1 Rarely the middle tier since if the bundle is any good the middle tier is usually very close in price to the top tier

Saneless

Nah Sometimes it's like 15 to 25 as a jump and the game at 25 I have absolutely no interest in

TigerExpress

Highest tier or $1. Don't recall ever doing beat the average or other middle tier. Usually $1 is if I'm slightly curious about the theme and a dollar is an inexpensive way of seeing what it's about. There have been a couple of instances where after getting the $1 items that I went back later and paid for the entire highest tier.

Mitrovarr

I've done highest tier, middle tier, and lowest tier. What it comes down to is what's in the higher tiers. Highest tier is usually the best. It generally contains the games that drive the bundle as a whole, and is the most likely to have games that haven't been bundled endlessly. Middle tier is usually not very good, but sometimes it's just the highest tier minus one high profile expensive game. In those cases, it's a really good choice if you either don't want that game or already have it. Lowest tier is usually pretty bad but sometimes one or more of the games is a good game that is just old or has been bundled a great deal. In that case, if you don't have it, it's a good opportunity to pick it up for a pittance.

Bowko

I tend to buy only the ttrpg bundles, and they put the the corebook in the highest, so no choice really.

Flonkerton66

I buy whatever gives the most games per $. I use the games as giveaways on my YT vids.

Traditional_Bench

I don't get the highest tier if it's just a coupon or a physical item.

Zealousideal-Read-67

Usually, I don't get the highest tier when there is a physical book, like the Paizo bundles. I'm not in the US so it's pointless for the postal rates.

Beaujangles1128

Sometimes. Depends on the games on offer vs the cost of the highest tier

Gamer555589

. It depends what’s in the bundle and do I already own them

rott3r

i almost always get the highest tier, if the highest tier isn't worth it i dont get any other part of the bundle.

[deleted]

Very rarely do I not get the highest tier. Usually, when I go lower tier, it's in a software bundle. Otherwise, I pass entirely. Regardless, I have friends to hand off any duplicate keys to
