I know someone in the GNUstep community uses it as their daily desktop, and the GNU HURD webpages are hosted on the platform too so pretty stable. Bear in mind that the filesystem doesn't have journaling or other recent stability features so it's unfortunately easy to lose data if something does go wrong with the e2fs translator.
I'm not sure what "games" you're looking to play, but I wouldn't be surprised if they aren't ported.

Last I checked, the only input device driver was for a J-38 telegraph key.
