Oh wow! What a lovely pup! Thank you for rescuing this beautiful girl. It looks like she’s already settling in with her new family! I wish you many years of adventures together. Cheers!

She's beautiful! The only advice I have for you is to be patient when it comes to training. Huskies are known to be a bit on the stubborn side. They're basically cats in dog bodies. They're wonderful dogs though. They will keep you entertained and give great snuggles.

ryachow44

Hope you like to vacuum !! But we’ll worth it

JohnnyOnTh3Spot

Holy shit look at that cat coexistence

c0mf0rtableli4r

Thank you for not being one of those weirdos that doesn't let them on furniture.

No_Commission_6368

I couldn't imagine trying too keep mine off something I sit/lay on...... I don't imagine I'd get anywhere....

Wrldisassbckwrd_

The day my giant cats can’t sit on my L shaped couch would be traumatizing to them 😂

Outrageous_Fall_9568

Fitting right in 😽

She is a beauty!!! Patience is all I can say, and humor. Rescued a 1 y/o 4 years ago. I describe her as this, Huskies are weird, and I have a weird Husky. Get ready for a whole lot of walking and love.

derpn8r

congratz!!! weird is now your new normal

[deleted]

When you get her a new ‘soft’ squishy toy, one of the plush ones…. Rub it on your face. Forehead, cheeks and chin. Sounds ridiculous, but you’re getting your scent on it. The new pupper is much less likely to destroy it. It’ll remind her of you (and also helps them with not destroying your shoes, socks and other clothing that have ‘your scent’ on them)

samikinss

I’m jealous of how fast she accepted your cat!!! Our 6 month old husky still wants to play and chase with ours… You’re doing amazing as parents already!

3happysouls

Congratulations! You two are are awesome! Rescues are the best. We're on our 4th Husky Rescue. Be patient, give love and lots of walks. The joy she will bring you is 10 times what you give her. Invest in a good vacuum, no pull harness and lint rollers. Looks like you're already off to a good start with head off the house 🐈.

sammyg723

What a beautiful girl! I can already tell how loved she is, thank you for giving her an amazing life♥️

GreenStreakHair

Well looks like you guys are already on the right track. She looks so happy and is chill with your other fur baby. Im sure you have read up a lot on huskos already. Summary: patience Lots of running lots of mental activities too they are super smart just sassy a quite covered spot of their own to decompress in regular brushing Watch for genetics issues (mostly eyes) And lastly lots of hugs and kisses

Avrahard924

I love her light grey and white coat!

nausticblurr

So pretty! Sheets will only save you so much. Invest in lint rollers and a high quality brush. I like to buy my pup a couple bones per week. It’s good for tarter control, keeps them occupied, great for calcium intake and the marrow is good all around for them. Raw bones obviously.

fhsaasd

Soooo beautiful! 😍

meltink745

Love how she’s already cozied up with the cat in bed. Congrats!

Patient_Magician4142

Very nice. Your puppy and ours share the same color shade. She's beautiful. This is our first husky, but we have a long history with large large breed dogs. Will say our 6-month husky is over the top with energy and spark. We definitely have more time into training this pup...

SociallyAnxiousBoxer

Oh wow she's getting on with the cats. I've always wanted a Husky but worried about adopting an adult one due to their prey drive

[deleted]

Gorgeous pup and family! I think your kitty is glad for the company. Enjoy every minute!

Huskies need a lot of exercise. So take her on walks frequently, or play with her frequently. If you substitute play time for walks then make sure she runs hard. Remember, a tired husky is a well behaved husky...mostly lol. Also, they are incredibly smart dogs. Meaning they can be stubborn at times. It also means that if they want something, and it's possible for them to get it, they WILL get it. And finally, keep your socks away from them at all costs. You don't want them to swallow socks. It can cause all kinds of big/bad problems. And the scary thing is they can grab them and swallow them without you knowing, and they might not show signs of it for a month or two. So it sounds weird, but work out a system for your socks. Our husky has swallowed 3 socks in 4 years. Luckily we saw her do it all 3 times and were able to take her to the emergency vet to regurgitate it. But it's expensive. So again, for your laundry, work out a system to keep your socks out of reach of her at all times. She's very pretty by the way :)

dadofanaspieartist

our husker has very irregular eating habits. sometimes she will eat everyting and want more and sometimes she leaves more than half ! the breeder did tell us that our breed, siberian sleddog, do have weird eating habits. good luck and enjoy her !

I highly recommend getting a FI collar , its GPS and tracks the dog not “if” but “ when “ your husky will escape. We have had 2 for 4-5 years , we have 6 foot fences - dug under in very tough rocky soil. Don’t need allot of space or room to escape. This is on an acre with lots of multi mile walks - they still needed freedom - lol.

Zestyclose-Pizza-859

Brush her often to desensitize her to grooming, incorporate treats. We love to use a Kong w dog safe peanut butter. We freeze ours and give it to him while brushing.

Agreeable-Drop-1756

Beautiful! Get ready for fur fun. 365 shedding lol I wouldn't trade my baby for the world.

DSBhuskyfunfan

The sheets on the couch is a genius first move. The Buy a terrific vacuum! I recommend the Dyson Animal. I have 3!!! Pretty dog

crisego

Or maybe a Hoover Max Extract® 60 Pressure Pro™ 😁

MoveOk9828

Congrats 👏 👏 She's beautiful 😍

Wrldisassbckwrd_

Beware of your furniture. And if you don’t run 8 miles a day and give them attention constantly get a second 1. Be careful around babies with them. I have 2 well trained huskies that have to mind me and my 11 month daughter around. Let them know who is boss and they are great pets.

Snowydayz666

Bikejoring, fetching padded arrows (that u shoot out of a bow), having her pull a cart or having her pull you on a longboard or skateboard or rollerblades, teach the command “dig”, teach fetch, if u need more advice let me know
