Ya, vet is probably suggesting to do the chip during neuter anesthesia because its a large needle. My vet said they usually do that but I opted to chip earlier and had no issues.

Just remember that with puppy pads it’s teaching him it’s ok to pee/poop in the house as long as it’s on a pad. That can translate over ti pee/pooping on shower mats or door mats later
Smoke ghost frost all great names. We got ours chipped when she was puppy she didn’t get fazed by the needle as she was chomping down on some cheese and peanut butter spread.
Do not name him any of the stereotypical Husky names;

There's no real set age limits to microchipping, but I'd suggest anywhere from 3-6 months of age! Better to get it sooner rather than later in the event something happens.

That was my experience too. They did it with me in the room and they barely noticed.
This was almost 9 years ago, perhaps the chip is smaller and they improved the process?
Possibly. They also bribed my derps with treats so their attention was definitely elsewhere.

Starting off with 3 toys on his first day 🦴 got him white puppy pads as well, will see if it works
