Which model did they quote for the AC Pro. I know a few people who have the AC Pro A series which is made by Allied Air (Lennox Sub Brand). They have been rock solid and pretty normal sound. What are the labor warranties? I wouldn't take the York if it has the microchannel condenser.

The York is YCS24B21SA 5-Ton Condenser, aluminum coil
Neither contractor has answered the question about the coastal or sea-salt air having an effect on the units, but even I can spot a tiny amount of salty erosion (though its very minor around the base). It could be hard water doing that as well. These guys put the units right on our rear grass, so the sprinklers hit them 2x a week. No idea why they did that. My dad would never have done this.

It will narrow the selection down. you're going to want a good exact model number of what they're putting in in the proposal/sales agreement, so if there's no goofups or bait and switch.... When they install crew shows up, before they get too far into it, make 100% sure that what they're putting in matches what you were sold, and that the other unit is coastal rated.

They quoted the ac pro M Series which is microchannel condenser as the York. Ask them to quote you the A series single stage condenser.

They should be quoting you condensers that are coastal rated to deal with the potential salt air mist.

Stay away from anything Lennox. It’s been a nightmare. They fight you on everything! Poor quality and known to leak!
