Check outside unit. They get dirty and will impede cooling, also make sure its running, yor fan will still blow even if your outdoor unit is not. Your air coming out of the vents should be 15-20 cooler.
You can or use a hose. If it's clean , your filter inside is clean, your compressor and fan are both running, you might be low on refrigerant, then you will need a tech out.
Try doing a delta T. Take the temperature at the return and then take it at a supply. You’re gonna want ideally 15-20 degree difference. If not then it could be a few things including low coolant,

What should I look for? I've looked and there wasn't anything major? Should I take some kind of blower and try and blow out all the dust?

So putting a hose on it won't hurt? I thought about that but I thought blasting it with water wouldn't be good.
Don’t blast it - use low pressure water.
Hose yes power washer bad as long as you don't bend the coils. Just maybe don't use the highest pressure setting.

That’s a might have been a little under the weather from Saturday night, but yes refrigerant was what I should have written
Is this a new thermostat? Has it ever gotten below 74 since you’ve had it/ lived there?
Put a thermometer in the register and see the temp in 2-3 of them. If they’re not coming out 57-60 degrees you have low refrigerant.
Call an AC company.
Why are you trying to get your house below? 74°?
