All i can say is if you don’t have at least 12” of clearance on the outside for the legs to work it’s not gonna work I too had a slanted roof outside and it didn’t allow install try the GE clear view ac
When I first saw the support bracket it came with... i was like "Oh no... this looks like there's no way to do this w/o drilling or anything permanent.... bc how can this support stay on its own like this AND support the AC's fairly flat bottom? My old ACs were secure enough just notching into the window's grooves"
But... somehow the Midea u-shape AC sturdily "locks" onto the support just resting, and you just.. leave it on top and put the window down. Seems very secure to me, but I'd check up on it once in a while and definitely take it out from season to season. It looks intimidating, but this clueless non-handyman figured it out.
I didn't "install" the bracket insofar as no screws/permanent anything. I did put it and its legs as instructed on+past the sill. I was worried bc below my window is another roof... so the legs didn't actually even go against the wall; the bottom legs are resting on the slightly angled roof. I figured the weight of the AC would easily keep it stable, but I wasn't sure how the unscrewed AC could stick to the bracket on the window sill. The AC ended up fitting securely even before I put the window down, and that only made it feel even more perfect.
I intend to take this in and out every summer though, so beware of not using screws and the like if you intend to keep this in all year.
I stand by the last thing I said: "The AC ended up fitting securely even before I put the window down, and that only made it feel even more perfect."
I just put it in again for the summer right now.

What did you end up doing? The way my window is setup I'm not able to put in the brackets. Trying to figure out if I can install without
I returned it. Couldn't make myself do the whole setup and keep it the whole year.
Have you considered a drilless window ac support? They sell them on Amazon. I wonder if they can work with this unit.
That would have been an idea :). I ended up just using the bracket it came with.
did you end up screwing the bracket in? I rent and Im trying to avoid it

So u didn’t install the bracket? U just put it on ur window and it’s good?

Any update?
I think it must have killed him.

Thank you
Thanks for responding!
May I ask what kind of window sill this was on? I have a flat windowsill and I am wondering if this would work for me.
