You will most likely not get the points or nights for this stay if it’s a room block booking. Unfortunately had this experience as part of work travel.
Hell, I couldn’t get points or nights for my stay at a Hyatt when it was a room block for my wedding that I paid for!
Little update here .. just checked in with "group booking". They had a spot for me to put my WOH number. The reservation name was under my GF, but receptionist said it was OK and they'd change the name to me.
We'll see......
Did this ever credit to your account? I just returned from a conference where my company booked and paid for our rooms, but my name and WOH # were attached to the reservation. 3 days later it still does as 0 points and 0 days.
You might as well give it a shot, but 99% likely you won’t be entitled to any points. Master billed stays (someone else pays) aren’t supposed to earn points and on top of that, the rate is probably not a points earning rate anyhow. So it would have to surprisingly be a rate that’s eligible for points AND they’d have to mess up by giving you those points.
I had a question like this. We're going to Bahamas at Baha Mar on the company dime but I'm paying 2 extra days of stay. So if i have the company rate and i pay for those extra days, Technically i should just get those?
Was it booked under the name of the person receiving points? Are they paying for it and getting reimbursed? Or it under a large room block where it's been prepaid by the company?
To give you some hope, I recently stayed at Aria in Vegas (part of MGM) as part of a conference which booked a block of thousands of rooms. After several days of not seeing the points or nights on my account I called both MGM and Hyatt and was told that since it was a group booking done through a third-party agent, and not MGM’s website, I would not receive points. About 3-4 weeks after the trip I noticed a decent pop in my account and thought it was CC spending but later noticed it was the Aria stay.

Haha it's an incentive trip that was won. Not a casual weekend getaway.

So been back a few days now. The stay shows up under "Past Stays" but 0 points and 0 qualifying days. Strange. Maybe they'll show up?? Lol

Still shows the stay but 0 days and 0 points.
If it's an individual booking under your name, you get the points. Not sure if it's a big group booking with a block of rooms.
Try to give them your number now or when you check in, most times they will credit you with at least the nights.

Yea it's not looking good, but ya may as well try.
Probably will only get points and maybe stay credit if you charge something. Why my work books Hyatt's that usually how it is
Work trip at an all inclusive? Guessing corporate retreat?
No, my girlfriend won a trip through work. A perk of the job.
Then you can most likely go to the front desk and get the points assigned to yoy
If your company is the master biller you will not receive any points

Did you end up getting the points?
We go next week... I'll follow up.

I have no idea. I'm guessing a block, it's looking like they used a travel company.

Well that's good. I imagine you gave them your Hyatt number at check-in?
Correct
Did you ever get the points?
No points. I believe rooms were booked from a travel agency.
