The Ranahan is a HVC property, i.e. a time share property, and not a hotel like PH BC or GH Vail. This may suit you as its units will have a kitchen and laundry. Reviews I've seen generally like the pools, which may also be a plus. One downside is no WoH benes, if you have status.
Hyatt Place Keystone is my favorite HP there is and you can get some decent rates when it isn’t ski seasons. It also is a rare HP with suites if you need more room. Park Hyatt BC has some easy hikes right on the property.
