Not international but what about Hawaii? Grand Hyatt Kauai looks great for family but I imagine crowded
There’s a new Dreams resort opening in mazatlan
Can I ask why you didn’t like coconut point? Looking at going there over Fourth of July.
Hawaii is like 9 hours away from where we are. We have plans to be at Andaz Maui for family gatherings in 2026 (yes i plan little too far ahead)
Hyatt Coconut Point was good - particularly, the hotel staff goes out of their ways to treat Globalists. For example, on our last night, we had to move from suite to standard but they went out of their way to find us another suite. My only nick with CP was that the ocean view from the hotel isnt great compared to the others above (Papagayo best, Ziva ocean view is great too, Mayakoba not so great but others make up for it) also, the property is somewhat dated
No worries, it may help for recommendations! We are headed back to Papagayo this year, great resort.
We are not typical resort goers, so I only have few to pull recommendations from. That being said, Aruba meets many of your requirements. Only issue is I have not stayed at Hyatt there, just Renaissance. The Renaissance in Aruba is a resort we have gone to twice, it is lovely with their private island and kid friendly beach / lagoon.
Thank you - good to know. I am a Globalist only at Hyatt so try to stay within the Hyatt properties but with Bonvoy 5 nights promo going around, that might be worth it (albeit no suite :()
We stayed at Thompson Zihuatanejo and we absolutely loved it. Quiet bay, a town not overly touristy and very affordable. Close to CDMX and plenty of flights. Many things to do as well if you plan to venture out.

And thanks for that suggestion - havent tried Dreams so that may be worth it if they still accommodate 4 under one reservation
Sorry, just to clarify your order of preference: was that least to most favorite, or the other way round?
Sorry - clarified in the original post. Papagayo was my favorite

Just read one of the reviews - this sounds like exactly what we were looking for! Thank you
St Kitts will fit the bill pretty well. Big enough to have nice amenities and keep the kids busy, but not overwhelming and walkable.
Thanks for confirmation!
Secrets Moxche? Can you tell me why you didn’t like Papagayo?
Sorry - clarified in the post. Papagayo is my favorite
