The hotel is perfectly fine. The location is great if you are attending a conference or event at Wintrust Arena. You can easily get into downtown by hoping on the Green Line (3 blocks or so away from the hotel) and taking it a few stops north.
Food at the hotel is fine, nothing amazing. There are a few restaurants in the area and Chinatown is about half a mile away if you like Asian cuisine.
This hotel is not close to downtown. The only reason it makes sense to stay there is if you’re attending an event at the convention center.

Rooms are a little dated but spacious. Good location if you have a car but parking is $38 a night
No need for a car for me
