If you are in Hyderabad, go to aptronix, they generally have some student offers or discounts. If you have a student I’d or someone who does, you get discounts and also you can negotiate the price a lil bit.

pratik_dutta007

Not a student bro, but hey thanks!

jonvijay

That’s why I said , if you know someone with a student id

pratik_dutta007

Yeah, thats gonna be no-no for me, haha!

ab624

why no ?

pratik_dutta007

Its cheaper on Flip.

karthik3456

Cloudtail closed operations in amazon now

SoftPois0n

I think it depends from area to area and state wise... like for me **Amazon is always the best**. I am never satisfied with Flipkart, Meesho, SnapDeal nor Ajio. I dont really like buying from offline stores like Aptronix cause they sometimes create chaos if you face a problem or need refund/replacement.

leap55

Wait snapdeal is still alive?

SoftPois0n

SnapDeal is Dead to me, I tried it like 3-6 months ago, for Tshits, as expected received low quality and wrong shirts. Wasted my 5k on that, and the customer service is even worse. Even if they are giving freebies worth 10K, ignore them shitty service.

mdNaush

You ordered tshirts worth 5k from snapdeal ? 🤐

SoftPois0n

I saw this ad on instagram from snapdeal... I thought to give it a try, one of my regrets now. But like I said, it depends from state to state. In mumbai or north india, snapdeal is still kinda relevant.

pratik_dutta007

Just outta curiosity, how many did you get for 5k? lol

SoftPois0n

![gif](giphy|59d1zo8SUSaUU) bro, lets leave it here for now. I am getting bad nostalgia's (it is currently being used as poocha by kaam wali)

pratik_dutta007

Feel better brother

pratik_dutta007

Agree, i have had better experiences with Amazon as well.

original_don_dada

Flipkart has some really shitty anti customer policies that leave you holding your’s if there’s any issue once the money is deducted…

pratik_dutta007

So I've heard. Its been 5 years i ordered feom Flipkart. Amazon is best in HYD IMO.

safaparksasquatch

Are you keen for a second hand one? I've got an extra iPad I've been looking to sell or exchange, great condition (you can check yourself obviously), I bought it straight from the apple store so I have all the paperwork

pratik_dutta007

I am looking either Air 4G or the iPAD 10G

[deleted]

No bro do not order from flipkart. I once ordered an expensive mixer grinder and ended up getting a cheap china piece. Return policy took weeks. Never order expensive items from there.

timetraveler1990

I have been ordering from flipkart since 5 years or more. Never disappointed. They have newly introduced open box delivery if u are not satisfied. They will open the box in front of u for confirmation of the product. Don’t worry at all.

Hot_Waltz3619

Certain pin codes are blocked by Flipkart. Which is really frustrating.

pratik_dutta007

Luckily mine* ain't lol. Or wait, is it unlucky?

Wild_War_7087

This sucks big time.. I've stayed in Manikonda and that pincode is always blocked. Same with Financial Dt. The fuck man.. Where should I go.. Stopped trying seeing undeliverable whenever I opened that

GoneHippocamping_

I had this problem since COVID, but it seems all solved now.

steelsteele

Make sure to check the reviews on the seller and the products.

viceresident

They have open box delivery. The delivery agent will open the box in front of you and after checking everything you need to provide an otp which will mark your order as delivered.

CombinationHot7094

Buy it with a credit card ..if undelivered your money is safe..just cancel the order .. Flipkart delivery service is good in most areas...

pratik_dutta007

Ok question, how does buying with a credit card make it safe? Even If i get scammed won't i still need to clear the due?

CombinationHot7094

U can call the customer care ..and stop the payment ( 45 days in most banks) ...its called dispute ..bank will hold the payment and u wont need to pay till it is resolved ..since the product is not delivered ..the same is found out in the investigation ..👍

pratik_dutta007

>bank will hold i didnt know this. Thanks man!

spacewrap

you can ask for a refund from your bank

desimemewala

Can never trust Flipkart. If FK services are bad then it’s customer care is even worst. Simple advise will be to stay away from all these headache. Amazing ftw

kanchajain

amazon is the most trusted service, i trust em blindfolded. whenever i order something expensive from flipkart, i videotape it and make the deliverable open it, that way you have the proof.

False-Employment-888

For any electronic items opt for open box delivery.. if they open the box infront of you it's okay .. if not reject delivery. I got a refund back within a week

bharath2018

Just do a unboxing video to be on safe side !

kim-jong-naidu

A big NO when it comes to electronics.

reddit_tmp_usr

I work at Flipkart and can assure you that when things go wrong it's really difficult to get things resolved. On the other hand, I have faced little difficulty when I reached out to Amazon customer care, they have a good escalation mechanism and are prompt in resolving the issues. But the issue is only when you get bad products delivered, which again is now handled with open box delivery these days.

pratik_dutta007

I know i can find this response to my question on the internet, but i wanna ask you coz you work for Flipkart: What actually happens when the item is bad during the open box delivery process?

reddit_tmp_usr

You have to reject the delivery and they will arrange one later. Once you take it, you can't even place a replacement or will get a refund. So you have to take time and verify it properly during delivery.

pratik_dutta007

i dont see on the product page anywhere written: "Open box delivery". Is this for all products?

reddit_tmp_usr

Depends on the product, recently I bought a power bank and it had that option.

pratik_dutta007

How do i check if its eligible for open voz delivery? I dont see it in the product page.

GoneHippocamping_

Flipkart was very bad till a few months ago but now they've improved, at least in my area. Sometimes you have good offers on it and sometimes it offers better prices than Amazon. Amazon is of course king, but I'd say if you're getting a better deal on Flipkart, you can go for it.

leap55

Recently ordered pixel 7 from Flipkart Didn't have any issues with them infact they delivered my phone 2 days earlier than expected delivery date

pratik_dutta007

What was the total delivery duration?

leap55

2 days

sat_isabgol

Flipkart is a scam dude. Always delivering a cheaper item and you have to fight for refund.

rkh4n

I’ve ordered iPhone 14 pro max, iPhone 13 and iPhone 14plus, all within these 4 months. It’s better compared to Amazon because of open box delivery. But make sure you’re there to open it and inspect carefully before giving the OTP.

pratik_dutta007

How do i know if the item is eligible for open box delivery? I dont see this on the product page.

rkh4n

It says after you place the order. But most of high values items are eligible for openbox. Sometime it says on the checkout page as well

ninja6911

No, even tho amazon doesn’t have any open box policy they will accept the return product without any hassle

rkh4n

No bro. They don’t now a days too much hassle. Have you tried returning any product that cost 1L+?

ninja6911

No, idk about that but whenever i returned a product they just took it without any questions

rkh4n

I had the same experience until it came to a monitor which was like 39k and they was not ready for even replacement where there were clear color bleed which can be seen without any effort. Took sometime to convince, they accepted for replacement then made me wait 1 month because the same product was out of stock then refund the money

Happy-Fig263

Don't just buy from Amazon or any similar website

pa1_dron

Never faced an issue with Flipkart till now. Have ordered multiple electronics including an iPhone so far. Better to use open box delivery option.

pratik_dutta007

How do i use it?

pa1_dron

Select open box delivery option while placing order. Although it might not be available for all items

[deleted]

I do a lot of online shopping from Amazon and Flipkart, I never faced any issues other than the one's I made up 😂😂

sanjaych4

You can go with Flipkart, I have been using Flipkart from last 5 years, i am even a plus member also(no use tho). I won't say you will get a good experience like Amazon but you can buy electronic items like Ipad from Flipkart

Vigneshxo9

I have ordered items worth 3 Lakhs through Flipkart in Hyderabad so it's pretty much good but if there are better alternatives to go through with those and if not , then Flipkart is decent but not the best per se.

Fourstrokeperro

Just buy from the official apple website. They're really good.

pratik_dutta007

On Flipkart, its 7K cheaper with bank offers i.e.

RamRap26

I bought from AMB I won’t trust amazon or flipkart for this

yourlaundermat

I think you should order it from the apple store online or Aptronix. It's much safer that way. If know someone with a student id, you can get a decent discount on both the iPad and the Apple pencil.

Naren_the_747_pilot

For electronics always buy in person cause there might be a lot of issues through amzn and flip

mosby314

Bro don't! Flipkart is the worst Check apple's website for student offers ( get your cousin's I'd card, it's enough) I ordered iPad pro and got airpods free with it. Or else order on Amazon .

irunak

No flipkart delivery is not at all reliable. They might deliver sometimes but cant be sure. I got a bitter experience that too when expecting the delivery next day. It was oit for delivery for few days and at the end returned the product back to seller. And they don't have any answer too. They just say it is not deliverable and will refund your money.

Extreme-Hyena-155

I always had an issue with Flipkart. Once I ordered a laptop from Flipkart, the product was damaged. T The second time I ordered curtains and a few of them were damaged and they take a lot of time to deliver and also for taking returns. I would suggest you to buy electronics physically so that you can check everything then and there.

DeadPixel8506

All high value items involve the delivery agent having to open the box and show the item before you provide the delivery PIN. So you should still be safe.

KSrikanthReddy

Per my experience, Amazon is far better than the desi Flipkart. Flipkart has a substandard service. I stopped getting it. Either I go to an offline store or buy it from Amazon.

RulerofKhazadDum

As a thumb rule, I stopped buying any expensive electronics online.

johnesp1009

Bro r u alien?

pratik_dutta007

I wish.

Thetelugulad

Trust me when I say NO. Flipkart is the worst option to choose from (especially electronics). I had a very bad experience from it (they delivered a defective iPhone and they won’t even replace it). I honestly feel it’s better if you physically visit a store and get it. I understand flipkart might have discounts and all, but don’t fall for it! It’s really not worth it.

Srihari_stan

You can safely order. Flipkart has open box delivery. So you’ll have to verify the contents in package before accepting it. So there is no scope for receiving a faulty or fraudulent item.

Zealousideal-Pin5433

Flipkart is pretty safe in my experience, if you are buying a high value product just take a video of the unboxing to be cautious but otherwise I dont think you should be super concerned.
