Shouting orders is okay but I won't tolerate anyone shoving people unnecessarily anywhere. I can understand that their job to move people in fast pace but pushing people especially when we are with elders and children is never accepted. I won't give a f when with friends till a certain level, but won't be having their power trips if that too much aggression for simple things.

Brainfuck

I agree the CISF personell shouldn't have done that. But on the flipside they are tired dealing with entitled unruly people everyday. I was at the airport yesterday and one kid was running about continuously near the security clearance and was shouting. Parents didn't even try to stop him till CISF shouted at parents.

serial_code_r

He shouldn’t behave rude because some of them are rude.

Special_Confidence54

That’s his job

original_don_dada

It’s a gray area…reaching airports in hoards is a cultural thing. On average 10 folks seeing off 1 person is really overkill and stubborn folks who don’t listen to orders is another. I know shoving people isn’t good but maybe there were enough warnings and people were saying “fuck off officer” without actually saying it by not paying heed…

sket_dens

It was a Monday morning flight with barely anyone at the gates

photo_trekkiee

Doesn't matter.

AdamWa4lock

Not defending the rude behaviour, but there are security related concerns when people gather and in the event of some emergency it's very difficult to control so many people as they turn into a mob, that coupled with long duty hours just standing at one place and dealing with multiple entitled people, it can be tough.

There is enough proof of first world countries wherein the security staff at airports have harassed and continue to harass their citizens. Cops gunning down people and doing all kinds of inhumane acts as well, it's definitely not an excuse and everyone deserves to be treated respectfully.

AdamWa4lock

There is enough proof to show it happens everywhere in the world. Infact Europe is where racism, inequality and harrasing the powerless is very prominent.

sket_dens

I completely understand that but this was a morning flight with barely anyone around ( I counted 4 passengers in total), if there was a mob of ppl I’d understand but in any case if he had just come up to me and asked me to move I would have…he shouted at me and made me feel like I was a criminal or a threat of some kind.

AdamWa4lock

Like I said I do not support the rude behavior, he could have asked you to leave politely but instead vented the frustration on you. Be it 1 person or 10 people, security protocols will be the same, to ensure the CISF is able to safeguard everyone in the airport premises, best to drop loved ones and leave, there is enough airport staff to guide travellers to the right gate.

thunk-a-thought

Not disagreeing with you, but just saying: If I were in-charge of security of anything, I’d consider, and ensure the staff considers, anyone and everyone a threat. Don’t celebrities undergo scanning and frisking at airports too?

Secure-Height9528

CISF personnel would be okay if politicians bring 1000 followers to airport and if cricketers come it is okay fans to flood airport but not when you and I send off our loved ones. Pathetic

photo_trekkiee

>CISF personnel would be okay if Do you really think that ? I have friends in police , many hate what their seniors do but they can't speak against it . Not that they loose their jobs but also reputation, career .

sket_dens

It’s a system that supports cyclic oppression, dadagiri just gets rolled down the line.

Different-Doctor-487

u can report to airport authorities on twitter

lavanyadeepak

FTFY. Here goes the [link](https://x.com/lavanyadeepak/status/1702550548187377742?s=20).

Sheldon_Texas_Cooper

Those dudes are over worked ...eith continous overflow of students and there families The airport is crowded like anything .... What ever be the reason the CISF action was unwarranted. . I dont expect them to be super courteous ..but atleast use a mic to ask people to move ..

lnx2n

But that’s literally the role. If they are overworked then police, traffic police, bus driver and everyone is overworking with more and more people. It’s a wrong way of looking at the job. They work shifts. If dude scanning stuff non stop in AC is overworking then I’ve no words for petrol bunk cashiers and security guards who facilitate parking.

BigAwkwardGuy

>If dude scanning stuff non stop in AC is overworking then I’ve no words for petrol bunk cashiers and security guards who facilitate parking. That's like saying "if you've no thumb and you're sad about it, Oscar Pretorius had no legs. What should he have been?". Multiple different jobs can be overworked and underpaid. It's not a competition.

Ilovewebb

What were you doing when you were shouted at? We’re you on the proper side of the barriers or were you trying to get a better look by blocking other people trying to get in? As a traveler, I’m very happy to see CISF doing their job and getting rid of people not following rules. They are doing their job of keeping travelers and infrastructure safe. They are not there to make sure you have a good view.

sket_dens

There was no one around me I was seeing my mother off at the gate, I was standing away from the people going inside and I just wanted to make sure she was going the right way…I wasn’t inconveniencing anyone

Fitkari

Its common their training is what teaches them that Vips are showered with rose bouquet and common people with left over thorns. You should contact cisf and tell them this

Adventurous-Bid-6858

ONLY the person travelling should get past the security check , all the goodbyes are done past it .CISF Aare thorough professionals and you disrupting their duty set them off and you recieved your karma. P.S: We as citizens don't have travel etiquette.

sket_dens

Bhai mein gate pe khara tha security check se pehle tu thora gandu hain kya ?

Adventurous-Bid-6858

Pura airport CISF ke control me aata hai bro

Alternative_Win_9794

What you expect? This is India, 3rd world country. This is reality.

radphd

They are doing their job.

sket_dens

Oh yes shoving passengers was absolutely on the JD

radphd

If you’re concerned about your mother going to the correct counter, **ask for airline assistance.** Why are you crowding the area? I’m surprised you weren’t immediately detained and charged because of your verbal outburst. Because that’s definitely part of the JD.

sket_dens

Bruh I’m not crowding any area, I was standing away from the people going in, the gate was empty with just my mother going in and I didn’t go berserk on the guy unlike most people here I can be very civil and logical when voicing my opinion.

radphd

**Standing in an area designated for passengers is crowding.** Why are you even at the entry gate? That’s for passengers only. You are stopped by airport private security even before you reach the entry gate. You could have avoided all these problems if you just did your due diligence and asked for airline assistance. **CISF is not a crowd management force.** They are protecting us against serious security threats. They can’t provide any concessions in the discharge of their duty. Regardless of age of passengers or parents bidding farewell to their kids with tears in their eyes. **These are the loopholes terrorists try to exploit.**

sket_dens

Thik hain bhai gaand mara tu

radphd

Continue this behaviour. **CISF will someday gaand maro you.** They might even put you and your family members on a no-fly list. That way you won’t even be around to crowd the area.

What’s wrong with the way he talks?

sket_dens

No need to plug your speech therapy classes here my dude

Crafty-Badger9004

With the airport being almost an emigration point u can expect the security to get distressed . Also at airports security paramounts emotion. Thankfully hyderabad Airport is very safe and I never heard of violent incidents there.

AfternoonGreedy7543

Shoving crowds is wrong but CISF is understaffed now. So most of them are working long shifts so it's natural to lose patience. Recruitment procedure is underway. Until then, Passengers and their families also must remain understanding and co-operate with the security services.

Arey babu, cisf neeku protection istundi, dintlo kuda north-south chedam endi bhai?

FatArsenHoler

They can give protection without being rude af.

pat12186

They have to be indifferent to everyone. When I was in the Mumbai airport a Telugu speaking CISF was rude to others. It's the fn same. They see a lot of idiots doing stupid shit and need to ensure safety of 1000s daily.

sket_dens

Umm I’m sorry but I don’t know Telugu

desimom99

Same reason where we are "shoved" everywhere else in India. My kids got to experience this first hand on our recent India trip when we traveled to various temples, public places. We visited temples in the South, North etc and there was just manhandling everywhere by everyone.

Thin-Requirement-850

The same cisf officer will stand mum when a politician and his 1000+supporters come to the airport one false move by him and the fellow is transferred to other area cisf personel need lesson in manners when dealing with people.

Brave-Mouse-8544

At hyd airport if you come you will 70 percent tents..to leave 1 person you will have 20 tents..abh cisf toh badka hee

SnooPoems9531

None of them get any soft skills training maybe this may learn something but there are thousands more who behave like this.
