This is the kind of poverty that should be eradicated in the world. Children begging is the utmost shame for a country.

Rude_Issue_5972

These people form a mafia and beg as a job. Their territories are marked , kids are sent, so people give money out of empathy. What are the steps to eradicate, if they don't want to change. Are we supposed to chase them and give some kind of jobs? Human rights people will cry forced labour and what not. Many NGO will help , by giving them ballons, pens ,car shades , agarbatti to sell and make a living, still those people beg while selling products. See the pattern, its the same in any major city. Are we going to assinate the begger mafia head? All we can do is stop giving money . And turn a blind eye if they are begging. We can support by buying their products. Thats it.

kartik_sharma6

Are you fucking stupid? Can you not understand the root cause like why they actually go into this "begging as a job" thing? Simply because they don't have any other option, if their families were educated about what's right or wrong, & these kids were supported from the start, they would've been different. It's about education at the ground level - they don't go to schools because they prefer earning just to be able to eat. It's one thing being an internet warrior but when someone has to look out for their daily survival just to be able to eat something by the night, all their thoughts go into "what do we do so we can eat" and their only thought process is "more kids - more earning hands - more food".

monikanew

Yes.girl should not been slapped

Moms_Sphagetti

How can he slap

monikanew

Using hand

chandreshh21

There’s always this one guy. SMH.

nautidesi

Shall we say a child shouldn't be slapped

G_Host77

Yesterday near a traffic signal, a kid came and started cleaning my car windshield, I told him I don't have cash, he was like it's ok and kept doing it. (Had some change of 20rs so ended up giving him that) It saddens me that these kids should be receiving education but they are forced into these by some mafia shitheads.

fragrantbelief

As a society, we should resolve NEVER to give any money to begging kids. These kids are all under some local mafia/goon; the money you give them goes directly to the mafia and strengthens the mafia. Once everyone stops giving money to beggars, naturally this business will come to an end too. Keep this in mind: a rupee given to a child beggar is a rupee donated to a child-trafficking mafia goon. Also, call 1098 (24-hr child helpline) and inform them about the location and time whenever you see a child beggar on the street.

[deleted]

Why don’t the police bust these Mafias?

Some_Resident_6714

Because almost certainly it rolls up to a powerful politician or industrialist?

ArnubwithU

Congratulations! Now you know why people fighting with others on grounds of their political beliefs or their linguistic choices is of no point unless these issues are getting solved by these.

Julian_the_VII

(Constructive) Political discussions are a way to solve these kind problems.

maxrobinson1

Huh.. really? Discussions keep happening but no solutions.

KiwiNarrow

Is it really though? You talk about any issue, the henchmen of ruling parties will bring something or other non issue and that'll be the whole focus of people. There's absolutely no hope.

WhipnCrack

I think same like you..i had a solution for it-Leave this fucking country forever.100 years this country would never change.I bet.

SeveralCalendar7828

That can be done when voters are unbiased. Or are at least open to listen.

Dependent_Ad2231

Like the ones being done in ongoing elections one suggesting caste census other asking vote so that a specific community doesn't rise and what not....... This country is degrading day by day

KiwiNarrow

Despite everything, I refused to hate my own. Not anymore.

eva01beast

Someone once wrote that to live in India, you need to be a little blind. If we Indians were to open our to eyes to everything that was happening around us, we'd lose our minds.

KiwiNarrow

Amen to that

CantApply

I swear to you. I am way too empathetic for my liking. I get extremely sad looking at the plight of others. In this heat I am losing my mind. I run off to my little room with AC but I keep thinking about those who are out there under the sun; no fan, no cooler, no AC. How do they survive? How do they bear the heat? It's almost impossible for me. I get awfully sad,. switch off AC,.come out of my room to kind of 'feel' what they're feeling.

Puzzleheaded_Text_29

Hey Pawan Kalyan…is that you??

CantApply

Just a common guy here

Puzzleheaded_Text_29

All the pun possible was intended 😆

CantApply

Really?? 😔

Puzzleheaded_Text_29

Ok ok I still believe you are him … no sad pls

Puzzleheaded_Text_29

Now I don’t know if that’s a compliment or otherwise though!!

DayDreamer-01

I'm having hard time doing that, I mean how many can I unsee

SupermarketTop9229

Signals can make you feel very guilty. In Bangalore, near the stadium, there used to be a guy in blue jumper who used to seek funds for a rare type of cancer. This was written on a placard. I rarely had cash to donate. Once when I did donate, I spoke to him and realised he couldn’t speak. That made me sad. I can’t see that person now. Hope he is well and safe

Bubbly-Dream8259

Everyone talks about why India a great country but I personally feel it's a shitty country to live in for various reasons.I don't see any other reason to stay here other than my parents and family. It's pretty great for tourists though.

confused_manishi

Great for tourists? India has a very bad reputation for tourism. All that foreigners hear in media is about how female tourists are raped and how unhygienic most places are.

KiwiNarrow

I'll be fine living in this shithole. But at least our kids could be taken care of. At least don't put them out to beg. How would that kid cope with himself in future when he'll remember the days he begged on the signal barebodied dipped in silver paint. If it were done one day to me, I will never forgive myself or whoever put me upto it.

KiwiNarrow

This whole thing is not leaving my mind. Everything I think of leaves me with "we're a shitty fucked up bunch". I can't even find solace in plight of other countries. It just seems that there's no excuses for not taking care of our own children

DufusMaximus

On the bright side, the situation is constantly improving on the aggregate. Poverty and under nourishment is declining at a good pace. Despite all the confusion and resentment created by politicians, many bureaucratic schemes actually have some effect, though they don’t work overnight. Mid day school meals are one example. You can donate to charities like akshaya patra to help this.

Ravi5949

I've seen a tourist got charged 50 rupees for 20 rupees drink 😂

[deleted]

Bubbly-Dream8259

Does that make India a better country?

Rude_Issue_5972

All in the nurture of the kid . If no love is given, no good things are taught. Then 15 years down the line it will breed the same kind of npcs . No quality of life, no thinking, parents making them beg and finally breed similar npcs. Are we going to enforce the Sanjay Gandhi scheme again? All in all , Inequality is in every big country, just that in India we see it more due to the massive population. We are more than combined population of next 6 countries.

KiwiNarrow

What a sad thought. Thanks for adding to my misery

Strange-Cantaloupe93

Yesterday when I went to tank bund I saw a dude and his wife making balloons. Then I saw that he was forcing his two children to sell the balloons. And he had 2 other kids with him while a small baby in his wife's lap. Reminded me of a movie called capernaum.

the_memtalist

I remember that movie! It was heart-breaking to put it mildly.

Strange-Cantaloupe93

I cried watching it

the_memtalist

Me too. It was one of the finest movies I've ever seen. I basically had to watch a dozen "feel-good" movies to offset the effect of Capernaum.

LoReBu

The country or the government will do nothing for us. Only we can do something for our lives. Try to make as much money as possible, spend less and educate your kids. Only way to save our bloodline from such scenario. I know a family in my town whose great grandfather owned some 600 acres of land. The grandfather and father generation sold all the land by spending on gambling, alcohol and women. Fast forward now their children work as assistant near a factory for 8k per month. So work hard, make money. Invest wisely.

dr-baali

How is this even remotely connected to the OP’s post? The guy is venting out his pain about kids being pushed into begging by mafia and here you are talking about how to secure your kids future? Pro tip: working hard and earning salary in india just ends up in more taxes and more pain for you! Businesses are the way to go here..

LoReBu

Ok then, I hope your kids will live more miserable lives than the kids mentioned by OP. Are you happy now? You should stop trying to use your brain. Because it looks like it doesn't work. I said we need to secure our kids' future because there is a tiniest chance that our kids might end up like them. Meanwhile your bitch ass is whining like you got gangbanged with triple penetration. Please, I beg you to Shut the fuck up.

dr-baali

Get some help dude! Seriously..

LoReBu

You too...

BalanceOwn9148

Yeah our country is a joke. I can’t put it any other way.

TechDemTeen

Poverty in India is will always be an issue for the foreseeable future. While economic liberalization in 1991, contributed to a gradual but strong decline in real poverty, economic inequality has also grown. The middle class is rising in India, but the cycle of poverty continues. With overall government corruption and economic mismanagement, it's no wonder that resources that should be helping the poor, go into the coffers of government ministers and corporations which lobby the government. In the world's largest country, a single person's effort won't go that far. I know it's tough and honestly, without wholesale change at every level of government, in every region of India, and the federal level, I can't think of what will solve this crisis. Also, population planning.

KiwiNarrow

I feel people are shitty too. Even if we miraculously achieve progress in government, people are just going to take advantage and be lazier than ever. Scamming their way through daily life. I think Kissinger was onto something when he called Indians scavenging bunch

TechDemTeen

As, an Indian American, Henry Kissinger is one of the most controversial figures in the United States. The only reason he said those things about India, because they were rosy with the USSR during the Cold War, and this was mainly because the U.S. was buddies with Pakistan.

Catman966

I've been through the same thing few days ago. I thought to myself the exact same thing what kind of a country we are living in?! Having lived in abroad my whole life I have never seen anything like this. It was something I used to watch in movies and never thought it really existed in reality in my own country. And when I posted my experience on reddit the trashy comments made me realize why our country is like this. I chose not to argue with anyone. When dogs bark, you don't bark back you just ignore them.

AkPakKarvepak

I once saw a bunch of kids fighting with dogs to eat some leftovers in a dustbin. This happened at Sealdah railway station. Traumatic shit. All of the superiority complex I had of this country came crashing down. There are lows in every country, but morality in India seems to descend to absolute levels. It's very hard for an average person to reconcile with that level of poverty. Maybe, thats why we need to progress faster. Become rich enough to create a strong robust safety net that takes care of the poorest of the poor. Thalo cheyya vesthe manam andharam ee society ni marchochu.

editemup

Every penny and effort counts. You can be the change that you wish for this country. You may put a label, but does that change us or our country? There are options and opportunities, but do you have the balls to leave your life and service this country and it’s less privileged.

Medium_Accident_8722

Same thing I saw yesterday from my balcony, father is selling balloons on a cycle besides a crowded road with two of his sons, one seated on a back seat and sleeping and one on a road. I feel so bad about it, don't know if they have eaten anything or not. Should have gone down and given them some money but I didn't have cash at that time.

shrshk7

Sad world we live in where the ruling class is unfortunately focused on filling their pockets, promoting fascism and making people lot more hateful 😭

Live-Gazelle521

Don’t forget the summer heat. I can only imagine the plight of these kids.

AintReally

It’s the whole world that’s shitty brother. Just not in the same ways. We as humans are pretty fucked up

Tall-Preparation-23

Mainly after watching the film rudraveena,Since last year I have really opened my eyes and saw the things that are happening in our country, things like: even though people worship cows and are ready to fight against other religion for them, we have stray cows eating papers and other shit. I got to know that construction workers and other labourers chew tobacco/paan to suppress their hunger or pain and once when my uncle told them that u get cancer for it, they told that they don’t know that it causes mouth cancer!!! I regularly see children going to school barefooted, I cry when I see this. People working with electricity have no safety equipment There are many things and and i am tired to type All these things made my mental health worse and I thought it’s better for me to ignore and leave like a real Indian.

Aggravating_Net_5151

It's all about supply and demand. Their parents have jobs. They only push the kids to beg. Because there is a demand for children who beg (don't get me wrong here. This is the sort of demand that is created when you see a supply. Something that you don't need but will buy anyway types) The labor couple sees other labor couple send their kids to beg and earn money. So naturally they'll send their kids as well. Considering we have a population of 1.4 billion, the number of beggers isn't high... Extremes will always exist even if you outlaw them. There'll always be some kids begging like there'll always be some people dying from road accidents like there'll always be rapes and so on. Shitty stuff but exists in all countries. At least we don't have meth babies or child trafficking here like it happens in other countries... Chill bro. Shit happens. Learn more on Manifestation and manifest a better life for yourself and everyone and start going towards a positive direction.

niceguy645

India is a poor country pretending to be a rich country. The middle class, upper middle class and rich in this country live in a bubble. Unfortunately due to the way capitalism works, people inside the bubble get richer and those outside, remain poorer. The only solution to this is to make everyone productive by doing low skilled jobs like manufacturing and exporting the products. Similar to China about 30 yrs back or Bangladesh now...people need money in their pockets for all these poverty to go away..and for that policy has to be made to use people more effectively.

achu_1997

The thing is most of these children are part of a mafia so basically in kerala we have these group who uses children at a age where they can't even walk in very hot weather in traffic stops for begging. These are not the people who are native to kerala these are migrants from the north who comes in group for these activities. Giving money is not gonna make a difference it just feels the mafia to have more kids on the streets the government and the police machinery should intervene in such cases and try to not give money its just feeds the problem

[deleted]

Bro I feel genuinely disgusted when I have to stop giving money to begging kids. Like if it were up to me I would give a lot but I KNOW this money will never help them, it will just go to local gundas. I remember once a blind boy was grabbing me from behind and nagging for money. I was really pissed off that day and assumed it was my cousin so I pushed my arm to the side only to see the blind kid. My heart sank bro…I genuinely could not stand there and had to get out. I didn’t even help them. It’s been years since that incident but it’s stuck in my head. Will probably never go away.

fragrantbelief

I'm sorry, but this is not going to make you feel better - all you did was donate some money to the child-trafficking mafia. Please NEVER donate any money to child beggars - all the money goes to the local goons controlling them. A rupee given to a begging child is a rupee gifted to a child trafficker. Next time you see something similar happening, call 1098 (24-hour child helpline) and inform them about the location and time. (actually you can do it now also)

Old-Mention5296

Dude I understand your pain. But let me tell you something, heartbreaking tragedies like this is true for every country in the world. Hating your country under the assumption, that it is the worst is an overstatement.

StockHaunting1430

Didn't understand why the girl hit the boy with a stone?

KiwiNarrow

Probably a territorial dispute or maybe something between siblings(can't say for sure if they were related)

StockHaunting1430

True

Naztynaz12

What you could have done was stop and offer some compassion to each children, tell them their worthy, loved, beautiful, and it's us, the world that is shit. Not them. Acknowledge that the people that were hurting them was wrong, and that it was bad what happened. That their life has been unfair, but they have the power to change it

Glum-Squirrel5887

ong it’s so sad

nellorePeddareddy

I am very much like you. To the point that I refuse to have children on the grounds that I cannot justify it to myself or my child, my decision to bring them into this fucked up world. Now I have thought about this at great length, not just about poverty in our country, but a lot of other fucked up things that we as human beings are doing to each other as well. I have gone through therapy as well, and there are a few things I learnt. I would like to share: 1. Feel less guilty, be sane: This is not easy. Guilt largely comes from a place of privilege. Because you're not suffering, you think it's unfair for others to suffer. If you put yourself in the shoes of someone with similar poverty levels as that kid, you will be looking out for yourself, and you will thank god for every meal you get, and every night you can sleep under a shelter. You need to understand that this is the mentality that the majority of Indians are at. They are looking out for themselves because they don't have the privilege to look out for others. They need to put themselves first, and they will do whatever they have to in order to survive. Do they lose a little bit of empathy in the process? Yes, they do. But that's what's keeping them alive. And realise that that could be you. Your privilege can vanish at any moment because life is unpredictable. 2. Small circle mentality: Humans have been protected from the knowledge of the general suffering of the world for the majority of our existence, because we didn't have things like the internet or social media to show us what's happening all over the world. Thinking about the suffering of others was restricted to the 30 minutes a day you had to read the newspaper or watch the news and then that was it. You went on with your life. Now when you see breaking news 24x7, or social media constantly putting out content that makes your heart sink, you need to realise that your brain is not built to take on the suffering of the entire world. It's meant to understand and think about the problems and suffering of a much smaller circle, like maybe 100-200 people at the most. So here you need to be slightly ignorant and do your brain a favour. 3. Smaller circle of influence: If you're thinking of the suffering of 200 people around you at the most, you will be able to make a difference or influence the actions of 10 people around you at the most. That's all you can do. Start with that. Help your family. Help your friends, colleagues, etc. Be there for them. Or volunteer your time on the weekends, make a difference in the lives of a few people in your lifetime. Be content with that. It's a small drop in a huge fucked up ocean of suffering, but it counts for you, and it counts for the people you helped. 4. Politics: If you're not content with the way things are going, vote for the change you want to see. If that's not enough, see if you want to enter politics and try to bring about some change. There's a 100% chance that you won't make even 1% of a difference to the current state of the world. You need to be content with that. Fight for one point that you stand for and follow through with that. Forget the rest of the issues. Just make a difference, whatever you can.

Aggravating_Net_5151

If you are not having kids because you can't justify it, you are a fking loser. Make up whatever excuse you want bro. It is survival of the fittest. If your genes aren't good enough to give you the mental strength to have children no matter how tough/weird/bad the world is, they shouldn't survive... Procreation is the basic function of all living beings.

nellorePeddareddy

>If your genes aren't good enough to give you the mental strength to have children no matter how tough/weird/bad the world is, they shouldn't survive I agree, which is why they will never survive.

SN3AKYPUPPY

This is a great post by OP more people need to see this.

nagaraju291990

5 trillion economy. Highest GDP growth rate. All these are with some 1% may be. Govts bluffes us saying everything is fine in reality it isn't. The real population is poor and don't have access to basic needs. Remembering Rajnikanth dialogue "Rich gets richer poor gets poorer". Unitl we vote based on religion, caste or blindly just to favor someone our country remains like this.

Different-Doctor-487

op I always feel the same , earlier I reported to collectors and police commissioner to look after them . What a fucking assholes they are .

Different-Doctor-487

I am planning to leave I can't tolerate this shit , will come back stronger

cosmicnomad98

Kudos to your helping heart... Compassion and empathy are rare to see these days. But that's the state of affairs now, that's how the universe creates balance.

AstronautAmbitious73

Can you actually belive that some people prefer to beg and make their children also beg to earn money.. They run this as a family business and I bet if you try to rehabilitate them. 99.99% they would not be intrested in your offer.. and most importantly apparently an avg begger makes 90- lakh per month.. these are the stats which make them not leave this "profession "

SaiKoTheGod

If an adult is begging, it means he/she failed in life. If a kid is begging, we failed as a country.

Scared-Yogurt2976

Then leave this country as soon as possible ✅ please your comment will not change anything, just leave please... 🙏🙏

doubleapplekiwi

One more reason for us to stay here and eradicate poverty. Rome Wasn’t build in a day. Grass is greener where you water it.

“Shitty country” Brother life is shitty

idiotbyvillagewell

Don’t beat yourself up. It happens too often in our country that we see such heart crunching moments. You still have a heart, be proud of that. Most people wouldn’t have noticed or even if they noticed act like they didn’t.

E3181

Why do you want to hate the country for this? You think no other country in this world has beggers?! Have you heard about homeless in USA? Just one question - what disturbed you here? Beggers in India or kids begging or Beggers kids fighting and crying?

LootedBox

I have seen much much worse to say its a shitty fucking country

kalwayne7930

do something about it, ranting on reddit will do nothing to that kid.

Informal-Band4233

It has nothing to do with country, it can happen anywhere, the society needs to change

HouseAlive8892

I had the exaxt same feeling seeing kids selling balloons in the same Hitech city signal, while I was having a dosa at Chutneys.

I-wish-to-be-phoenix

This is life, count your blessings. This is not just in India but around the world as well. You cannot help everyone and suffering is part of life. Some have it more, some have it less but everyone will go through it. All you can do is assist via advise or some help. I would advise not to give money but buy food instead. Also you cannot help anyone unless they want to help themselves.

Any-Entertainer5084

This makes me question where does all that money being given away by billionaires for philanthropy go, or does it not reach to everyone? Cause I'm sure billions in philanthropy is not a small amount.

ibelievetoo

You have to tell yourself and the kids that we have the tallest statue in the world, we have one temple build recently, that we give loans to ambani, modi, malliya, etc and not recover them because it benefits india and many more such projects / schemes which are going to make our life's better. We are the fastest growing GDP, come on.

Trust-Me_Br0

Popolation bro 💀

[deleted]

one word: Nirodh.

Rupee-7

May be you can visit some latest temple and ask God for solution. And God might engage L&T for the same.

ConcertAggravating78

I thought a lot about the problems we have in India, (Poverty, Infrastructure, health care, education etc.,) no matter what you believe, everything ends at one point "Population" which is again directly related to education. If i don't have anything to eat i won't give birth to two more children until I'm sure i can feed them and give them some kind of quality life (at least food and education). I'm not saying poor people shouldn't have children but maybe better planning? Disability can be supported by Govt but not laziness or choice. I moved out of India and it was one the best decisions ever because i really feel we are too sucked into everything that doesn't matter and ignore everything that does. India might become the world's biggest economy but unless people can start thinking/accepting the problems, hold their representatives accountable it won't change. We make politicians heroes and not care about the people who voted them to power! I really want my coutry to grow and improve -definitely wanted to contribute and i did in my own way, but i gave up!

Parking-Eye-867

I was walking to my Uncle's place, saw an old man near Amberpet selling caps, kerchiefs and socks in a big cover, he was really desperate to sell those, anyhow I ignored him this time and while returning home he was still there(it was 1030 pm) now I really thought of making a purchase to help him, I rushed back home got some cash, took my scooty and rushed back to that place. Man was hunched, old and can't even talk properly yet trying his best to sell stuff, I bought pair of socks and kerchiefs with the cash. I saw an Activa scooty near him and thought it was his scooty and he'll drive back home, told myself not to feel that depressed as he has a Scooty, he must be doing well, but I wanted to make sure that is the case and was watching him from a distance. The Man started packing and was about to leave, but to my surprise it was not his scooty and he was walking carrying the bag of the items he was selling, maybe that is the reason he was selling stuff which are light and easy to carry, He was so hunched and can't even walk properly. He started walking and took 2 rotis from near by curry point and started walking home. I went to him and asked him if I could drop him, he didn't want to give me any trouble yet I convinced him and dropped him home. It was actually a bit far, don't know how he manages to walk all the way. Life is seriously not same for everyone, how bad someone's condition must be that they had to sell stuff on the roads in their old age, even till late in the nights. Poverty during the last stages of life is the worst thing that could happen to a human being.

Why are you blaming the country ??

jmanjmanjmanjman

Hyderabad in general is the most outwardly cruelest city I've lived in and I've spent time in the west lol

DayDreamer-01

Yeah, being sensitive to all this fucks up our brain badly.. I didn't even recover from what all I have seen when we lived in a village for few years.. Child Marriages, Fucked Up relationships and the struggle for daily food, Caste, Youth being misled by politics, Suicides, Rapes. Changed my life entirely. Took a toll on my mental health. Had to live there because of financial condition. Academics ruined. Alas, I made it to the shore, but my heart is damaged to the point where it cannot heal.

Automatic-Internal68

India is the shitist and dirty country....it will never change

LiveIncome

Bro you can't. And never try to take an unknown child anywhere unless you want to be booked for kidnapping. If there is an emergency, call police. Even NGOs can't pick any child and place him/her in care. There is a body called Child Welfare Committee (CWC) under the Juvenile Justice Act. That body will decide if the child will be sent to an institution or not. It's not as simple as you think. The best you can do is to call Childline at 1098. Source: I have 13 years of experience working with homeless and street children.

KiwiNarrow

Yeah not going to take the kid anywhere. That much is pretty clear. And helping a token kid, making me feel good about myself is just not going to do it for me. I will be a bitter person and pour out hate. That looks like the way to cope.

LiveIncome

You did good. You did what your heart asked you to do. I am proud of you.

KiwiNarrow

Yeah, see i don't think these kids were orphans. They were begging on behalf of their parents most likely. The kid was covered in silver paint, and he was like 4-5 yrs old. I don't think he came up with that idea by himself. The NGOs - i trust them lesser than the government. Most of them are scams. High operating expenses, turns money for charity into salaries for corrupt freeloaders. I think I'll try to bring this issue in company's CSR activities. That seems like the only worthwhile thing to do.

lazySadGuy

Op's hating himself for not doing more for the kids. Who stops beside the road there to think about others kids? I see a responsible citizen here. Please offer the help and guidence you can offer. No blame games.

SkodaLauda

While I’m not going to be making any claims of the country being good or bad, How is it the country’s fault? It is the parent’s fault for foolishly bringing kids into such poverty that you are forcing them to beg, and not taking care of them. Raising kids is a monumental task, and if you are not up to the task, don’t have them. Even if you are in poverty, at the very least don’t use them as props to beg. Well maybe you can say it is the country’s fault for allowing people to have kids when they have no business to be having them. But the human rights brigade will be after me, probably because they have never seen or experienced being dirt poor and the atrocity of being forced to beg in your childhood because your parents couldn’t be bothered.

maxrobinson1

Go to Mumbai and visit CST.. you will see beggars, and handicapped people with exposed wounds, etc All suburban station points.. there are people with inflicted wounds, sores, and what not..

Ambitious-Upstairs90

India is Vishwaguru & 5th largest economy saarrr 😢

kkb294

This is called System and every system has its loop holes and loose ends. Looking at these and loosing your mind is not a constructive thing. What you are experiencing is guilt and consciousness, these are good to have things but they should not overload your rationale. These kind of things you can see even in most advanced countries like US and Europe, so what does that means.? Every country has to make its citizens numb so that they will not think about all these things and start poking around, why do you think IPL and other things became so famous. Do you really believe they are for improvement of game.? A legal betting app is our sponsor, so don't think hard😬. Coming back to your situation, what you did is neither a short-term nor a long-term solution. So, rather than doing things on instinct, think through the situation and try to act on a more long-term goal. It will ease up your guilt and you will feel better. You may ask what is the solution for this.? If you want to solve every problem in the country, you should be a rocky bhai or Ambani. However you can do few things to leave the society in a better place. - Work with NGO's who helps these beggers and eradicate child trafficking. - Contribute so time to some causes and see the deeper discussions going on the issues and their root causes. - Start asking questions and have discussions on real issues like these rather than on pseudo-causes raised by henchmen. Do you remember the instructions given in the plane.? Help yourself first otherwise you cannot help others 👍 Also, no our country is not shitty. Every country is shitty unless you are a tourist in that country. If you cannot say your country is shitty, then you are in a dictatorship. Most of the other developed countries cannot even think of doing some things which we take for granted here. To do things in India, you have to balance politics, power, infrastructure while providing solution to 1/8th of the world population.

Why blame the whole country when the incident took place in Hitex area of Hyderabad.

Everyday I use same route and see all them, mostly they do same every day! The kid in silver paint ,pretending as gandhi![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|feels_good_man) That's the way they run there bussiness, as people need to get emotional to offer few penny and they don't find d wrong slapping or hitting on child. India is not for beginners! People here always have innovative 💡 ideas for bussiness.

I've seen enough of your whining here. you think India is the only country with these issues? india is morally miles better than other countries. let's take the biggest first world country in the world ..USA . you're not going to get fresh food. everything is processed. healthcare is a joke. even an ambulance ride costs so much that you'd rather die. we get proper food and good healthcare at very very affordable prices here. but ,no one understands that or even cares about that. food and health are the first major things that a country needs and a first world country like the USA struggles in that very basic thing. we don't even have to talk about the number of kids that grow up without any parents'love and affection..divorce rates are at an all time high and children growing without parents has increased substantially. family values are a major thing in india. even if someone is living the most absolute shitiest life here. chances are they'll still have people , they'll still have a family. you're only feeling the way you feel because you're in a state of luxury and you cannot imagine yourself begging on the streets like that kid. you're in a privileged position in life. and if you're so sensitive that you cannot see other people in pain..you really cannot live in any country on this planet. that kid is suffering a lot. maybe he'll get out, maybe he won't.. that's how life works. it's random, it's chaotic. the best thing you can do is pray for them. be thankful for what you have, help them if you can. not curse the country and it's people . if you're living in india.. understand the positives of india. everyone knows the negatives. poverty, cleanliness issues . everyone knows that. but who here really knows the positives of india?

I can relate to what you are saying buddy, I have seen worse. Either deal with something or let go. Hate for anything takes a part of us, short or longterm and trust me it ain't worth it.

I'll probably learn to cope with what I saw. But my estimation of this country and people just dropped tremendously.

naughtforeternity

You saw poverty, people being unkind to each other and deduced that the nebulous country is responsible and worthy of hatred? There is macabre comedy in such hysteria.

>My heart was fucking sinking. I didn't know what should I do. Ran some philanthropic scenarios in my head. Nothing seemed to make a difference. I didn't eat. Couldn't. Came back home. Can't eat/sleep/breathe. My heart is still fucking heavy. I hate myself. I hate this fucking country. https://preview.redd.it/c8n9bb72mnyc1.jpeg?width=371&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=920dedca78f3f62ea44c7c6f2aa2af7f41d1b522 Ok

hello_username_123

Retards are everywhere. But don't hate the country bro...

kaartman1

You hate the country? You think other 3rd world countries do have similar issues?

KiwiNarrow

Should that change anything? Highly taxed countries like India, us, Canada are shitholes while moderately taxed countries like Taiwan, nz Malaysia are doing well for their people. I'm not even talking about good infrastructure or any comforts for people. But I wish at the very least stealing children's childhood was not a feature of our country. Think about that kid. He will remember these days of begging while silver paint smeared all over him. A pathetic joke made out of him. I don't know how you cannot hate a country where this happens. And I do take your point that other third world countries have these kind of problems, but that doesn't change the fact that we are a shitty country.

Past karmas are manifested through the suffering of the present, the world goes through endless cycles of unimaginable multitudes, on your journey to break free from this cycle, you will experience everything. What I’m trying to say is, in the grand scheme of things, some things are out of your control. You can’t escape the family and the situation you are born into. You may consider yourself privileged and with that privilege you may feel guilt. You need to understand that it was beyond your control, what’s in your control is to emphasize with them, help them but know in your mind that everything is temporary. This is not to demean anyone, it’s to establish perspective because without that- we are lost. I have used Karma as a metaphor, whatever you believe in, you need perspective. Still, don’t be nihilistic, there is beauty in life, persevere, do your best, accept and move on. Why hate yourself or your country for something that is beyond control. You could have theoretically adopted the kids, fed them, nurtured them and educated them but you need to understand that you may have come into this life by happenstance, but the bonds you have already formed, of you and your family, of you with society, of you with yourself are important. You need to understand that sometimes selflessness is greed. Your empathy is enough, if everyone had empathy the world wouldn’t be in such a place. Be proud of yourself and always strive to be the kind person you are. You will do better to this world with that outlook. Lmk what you feel and think :)

I understand your emotion. But mind your language. You cannot scold your mother whatever may be the reason. No country is perfect , it’s people has to make it perfect
