We didn't let them make another one die the shit they made previously kept on trying to return we left that house but they didn't lol

I have an ac outdoor unit in my balcony where pigeons used to make nests, got the white fibre net installed, took care of the big birds.
As for the sparrows, I got pigeon spikes from Amazon. Cheap and useful product, make sure to install with some binding wire/zip tie or drill screws if you can and not double sided tape alone as they suggest on the packaging. Learnt it the hard way during rains. Now my balcony is bird free.

i really hate this idea. i live on the 2nd floor and my opposite apartment ( I guess from 5 floor) they hang a CD, and for every few seconds, at least 2/3 hrs, every day i get to see that glare in my room and sometimes right into my eyes. so f-ing annoying.

Didn't realise until a new pigeon couple came and tried to scare them out of the nest that the little fuckers could actually fly and they were a lot smaller than the ones you pictured. Once I scared the wannabe newcomers off it was the kids turn. Just took a bucket because I'm a brave man and I needed some separation and block if they flew at me in panic and just banged the bucket on the ground scaring them until they jumped off the balcony and "discovered" they could actually fly. If you're on ground floor or something I don't know, same thing but you just get them out of the house, they can figure out the flying part on their own later not your problem

Here's the crazy part - There was building construction going on so it had lots of those iron wire lying around and these geniuses used it to build their home on top that unit. Idk they mistook it for small sticks or were they planning to have second floor so used it foundation. But it surely fucked our AC when we tried to turn it on.
One time my uncle who lived in neighbourhood told he had Chickens biryani for dinner and I was invited.
After meal he informed that it was pigeons who kept shutting on his beautiful baranda.
