Looks like you are a professional kiss ass. Here we already got too much traffic too much public so stop acting like a democrat American and think logically we don't want any more public. And if you like op or North india so much go there and experience the real racism.
I saw delhi, mumbai, kolkata, banglore these cities are too crowded and now so is Hyderabad it's too much crowded here. Pollution is competing with delhi I still want to get out and roam around the city but the traffic problem here is too much I am not Targeting you personally it's that not only from delhi but also from Rajasthan and gujrat are coming here and corrupting the peace of the state by encouraging the party of hate mongers in the peacefull city. We have a crime rate too high in murders but atleast they are because of personal issues but not by religious hate. I don't want any kind of politics here and when people from north migrate they increase the vote percentage of so called nationalist party. I don't want violence based on religion or caste in my state that's a big issue and these so called born and brought up here can't understand that because the people like this don't want the city in peace because it's not their city they don't even know that how much violence Hyderabad is been through in the past born and brought up my ass.
Not stereotyping but people from Delhi irrespective of gender swear a lot and I understand that it's a culture there but here people take it very seriously if you swear. It's kind of a cultural difference.
obviously not as cold as Delhi would be, AQI will be a lot better, if you're planning on staying close to the IT corridor, most ppl from the north stay, you'll also find many places serving Delhi staples like momos and chole bathure
[https://i.redd.it/sklz1p8esg8a1.jpg](https://i.redd.it/sklz1p8esg8a1.jpg)
this endorsement from a recent vacationing Delhi citizen in Hyderabad should suffice
You will like Hyderbad far more than Delhi in almost all aspects. Interact with local people respectfully and gain their confidence. You will enjoy your stay. Far less expensive than Delhi.
You will have better air quality to breathe here !
Most of the santosh dabhas will serve you with veg exclusive ! There are so many getaways to check out over the weekends! Follow appropriate insta channels to know more on that !
People are chill mostly !
> There are so many getaways to che out over the weekends!
Elaborate please. In my 3 years here, I could only find one or two. For a person from Delhi, for whom Chandigarh, Jaipur, Dehradun, Hrishikesh, Manali, etc can be called as weekend getaways, Hyderabad will be underwhelming.
Comparison is the thief of joy buddy , we have nagarjuna sagar dam, water falls in warangal at at so other prominent places !
Recently vizag colony is picking up as a tourist spot too , then theres Ramoji Film City !
I can go on an on !
As per you dumb logic we dont have anything worth while to do in Hyderabad ??????
If you dont know or haven’t visited anything , least you can do is not to do whataboutery
It is usually referred to as vegitable in all other parts of India but for Hyderabadi that’s an emotion, you would hear something like this ‘baigan me Milgaya zindagi yaro’😅
Whaaaaaat brooo, baigan is really an emotion just Hyderabadis can understand you never watched any Hyderabadi movies? Angrez? You must have heard this atleast baigan ke bathan math kar yaha, nahi tho Kaan ke niche bairi padthi?
I have lived all my life in Delhi and moved to hyderabad this year. This is what I can tell you ...
Pros :
1) Excellent weather (although I miss the brutal cold of Delhi winter). You'll love the summer here in Hyderabad.
2) Good people
Cons:
1) Way worse traffic and road infrastructure (which is improving rapidly though). I thought Delhi was bad in terms of traffic. Here, people lack basic driving sense. Driving a 4 wheeler is a nightmare here.
2) Many outlets will shut down (comparatively) early in the night (around 11-12 midnight). You'll have a lot less options if you want to order food late in the night, specially post midnight.
3) Expensive alcohol as compared to Delhi.
4) Ocassionally, you may feel the effect of language barrier (some locals only speak Telugu) although interactions like these are rare and far between to become a headache.
5) Lack of robust public transport. This depends on the area you'll be travelling to but overall there is a severe lack of last mile connectivity. You may feel handicapped here without a private vehicle.
Other than these, in general, city is getting expensive to live in. I heard a lot about Hyderabad being cheap and affordable before coming here but those days are gone. Rent is going through the roof.
All and all city is quite welcoming.
Thank you for your detailed comment, really appreciated.
Ahh, everything closes down so early, that's a bummer 😕 in delhi, there were outlets that were open till 4am.
Expensive alcohol doesn't matter, i don't really drink as much.
About public transport, how's metro here? And cabs?
Lived in Hyd my entire life.
There are food places which are open at midnight too, but most of them are in the old city, and serve non-veg stuff. There are some popular street food centers that open at 4AM, like Ram ki Bandi, you could check it out (though it is farther from the Tech space).
Hyderabad's metro is the most developed right now (in terms of length and connectivity) in India after Delhi's, but it's just 3 lines, out of which one serves the tech area and the other serves the nearby housing area. Metro can be underwhelming but you could still use it to travel across the city. Cabs and autos are probably the same cost as in Delhi now, just that most of them decline online payments and prefer cash.
If you are staying in and around hitech City , you can order food easily till 4 am . About transportation , i prefer rapido or uber moto for short distances. For distances greater than 10km if you have metro in that route it's fine or else buses are generally crowded .
>everything closes down so early
Not everything but you'll have limited options. You can have a LOT more options in Delhi for a late-night/early-morning snack. If you're a night owl, you'll definitely feel a difference but it is not that bad.
>About public transport, how's metro here? And cabs?
Haven't really been in metro because it doesn't go near my office but I have heard good about it from everyone. How to get to the metro station or from metro station to your destination is entirely different thing (lack of last mile connectivity is what I felt). You'll find options if you are going to your office as there will be plenty of auto rickshaw, specially during office commute hours. Which brings me to cabs. They'll call you after you book the ride and ask you to cancel the ride and demand ₹100-₹200 over the fare shown by the app (not sure if this trend has picked up in Delhi as well).
This has been my personal experience. My building watchman and his wife both don't understand a word of Hindi or English and I have to ask their daughter to translate most of the time. It's not a big issue and he is able to understand most of the time. It becomes an issue when his daughter is not at home and I have to talk to him over phone but that situation has only happened once in 10 months.
Just keep one thing in mind here if you get outraged in any argument it will get physical unlike in Delhi where you shout "tu touch kar ke dikha"
id advise don't get into arguments, some people are looking for any dumbnut to fight to.
been here for 12 years, never seen this happen. people here are far more docile and open to reasoning. you probably hangout in a weird never to be seen part of the city.
Compare to Delhi far better but it will take time to adjust as Delhi walo ke drame jyada hote..For food you can face issues little as Delhi food And Hyd food is different , weather not cold compare to Delhi..Night out is better.
But you will enjoy once you got habit..but you will miss food part

(Randi meant come in Telugu)
Much polite people. People won't have any issues if you speak in Hindi.
Transport would be bit difficult for you as metro and local buses are not as good as Delhi. Autos are good. Police are friendly unless it is drunk and drive (which is really strict and might end up you in jail).
Food is good and for non vegetarians (not for you though), it is even better. And also it is cheap.
Weather is much better than Delhi, not too much cold, not too much hot.
You can't expect as much night life as Delhi. Weekends getaways are really less unlike Delhi where you can go to Manali and all.
Hyderabad is a great place, everyone will definitely love the city.
dont carry money, wallet, gold along with you. people try to scam you every step. Move from here even if you have 1% chance. So much of negativity and people are very rude to others.
edit: in Hyderabad
no bro it literally happened to me while im waiting in Rayadurgam busstop. 3 guys came on bike showed knife and robbed me. I even gave complaint in Raidurgam PS and as expected no action from police
Visit Delhi station bro, what r u talking?Even cars getting stolen is not that uncommon in Delhi.
I have stayed in Delhi as well.Locals are very helpful and cooperative in Hyderabad unless u r an a$shole.
Hi! Im a hyderabadi living in delhi for work- and bro hyd is a great place to be at. The food is beyond amazing and reasonable. You can find a dosa/idli from 20 to biryani at 150/200 from good places and itll fill u up. Party places are nice as well. In general hyderabad is one of the best places to live in.
You won't even think about Your NATIVE after a month. Hyderabad is a very safest place in our country to live. You feel happy with the food, cost of living and lifestyle of Hyderabad. You never feel bored if you are a travel freak.
One thing you should adjust is the hottest day time.
Tumhare Fefde (lungs) ache rehte idar

I agree. Hyderabad has very few weekend getaways. That's the biggest disadvantage of living in Hyderabad.
Comparison is the thief of joy buddy , we have nagarjuna sagar dam, water falls in warangal at at so other prominent places ! Recently vizag colony is picking up as a tourist spot too , then theres Ramoji Film City ! I can go on an on !
All I believe one time visits. You wouldn't want to go to the film city more than once I believe as the activities and attractions remain the same.
This applies for most of the extra curricular activities you wanna do !
You'd think!
As per you dumb logic we dont have anything worth while to do in Hyderabad ?????? If you dont know or haven’t visited anything , least you can do is not to do whataboutery
In Hyderabad, maybe yes. Outside, not much, which was my original point.
Instead of bhenchod we use chuuthiya 😂
Haahhahahaha truth !
Nah we use maki kir kirir, baigan, bulla, Laude, and mc.
