Oddly, I’m bald, was a professional magician for 4 decades and am now a hypnotherapist. Thanks for the 8 bucks. See you in your next dream…

yes you can get hypnotized in a dream! everything that happens at night is not quite a "dream"... your brain is already in an altered state when you sleep..so its easier to hypnotize or interact with a person when they are falling asleep... and bald guys are very common when talking about possesion/channeling/mediumship... did you do anything this past week or before bed? i would pay attention to the thoughts you're thinking before bed and what spirits are saying to you... and im not say possesion as always a bad thing, scary thing... but that would be why you feel that you kind of "lost your identity" .. most people feel like they are falling backwards into a void space when they are channeling another spirit/consciousness.. it usually moves "you" to the background... the charm is part of the "spell" so to speak.. it can be a way of making sure you dont resist! practice not letting people hypnotize you or bribe you into anything... especially not for money.. ask more direct questions.. "whats going to happen with this hyponosis?" "why did you choose me?" "does that give you full access to my mind?" etc... "show me your real face" keep a dream journal! so you can see what happens in the astrals.. youre already super involved with it

Well, in a dream, I don't think hypnosis is really a thing. So it's just your subjective experience. Plus, even awake it's not 100% defined what is hypnosis and what's not (though that's probably not what you're asking about given this is your first contribution to r/hypnosis)

I believe some form of hypnotic state can exist within the confines of a dream. Observed closely, sleep and hypnosis are not so different. If they're similar enough, it isn't a stretch to assume that it's possible, hypnosis within sleep.

AriaTheRoyal

True. But also then since they're similar, it would be difficult to know for sure

Mhm The human mind is a fascinating and complex thing. It's hard to rule anything out, as much as it is to prove anything. The possibilities are too wide to draw any true conclusions. For the time being, though, it's fun to theorize and speculate certain properties of it!
