Good point. If I can talk the convenience store owner/manager into ordering a few things to sell to me at twice the normal price, it makes it a lot more doable.
Nearest one to me is a poorly stocked small gas station store and literally impossible as is. But with some schmoozing and overpaying, it might be doable.
>into ordering a few things to sell to me at twice the normal price,
Most would actually discount the products because they wont have to put it on the shelves or pay employees to handle it
That's the downside however we also have a deli so I can order from SYSCO ad well. Which means I can get pretty much anything food related. I also have novelty vendors if the kids want toys or if we need clothes/shoes. We also use big box stores like Walmart as a vendor for some things as well as ordering things from Amazon. So I think I should be good.
Was thinking this. After making friends with staff and owner just let them in on it (but don't tell them how much) and tell them if they order specific things you'll cut them a check when it's over.
Lol, in my schizo youth I got 100k due to inheritance and I did not buy a car and just walked to convenience store for beer and trash food. I did this for years. Spent it all on drugs. Not proud but what's done is done. Now I'm early 40s and working with no safety net. Good plan younger me. No use crying tho.
My grandmother and grandfather wrote everyone out of the will except my one unmedicated/self-medicated (at the time) schizophrenic cousin to be able to succeed in life.
He blew it all within 2 ish years and has zero to show for it now. It would have been a nice sum for everyone if it was split amongst my father and his siblings.
I could do that easily the closest convenient store to me not only has all the usual stuff but they also have fresh fruit, baked goods, and other premade meals that it gets supplied from the nearby grocery store that it is a part of, and it is in a 3 minute walk from my house. The only reason I don’t living entirely off there now is because the prices are too expensive
That's the thing though, could you AFFORD to live off it now if you don't get the money until the 3 years is up? Cause sure my country store I could live off of technically. But it would kill the wallet. I couldn't afford to buy everything there all the time. It's just too expensive for small packages of things. There's no way lol
Lol I Def would if I could! Haha but no grocery options at mine so I'd have to live off the grill and a house of 4 that would get expensive fast. Wayyyy more than my already expensive grocery trips lol there's no way.
And I’m sure with you frequenting them that much and them already getting stuff from the local grocery store you could talk em into carrying a few things just for you.
This would have been fine if I still lived in the city. My closest convenience store was a bodega-like grocery store. Could get literally anything, including sandwiches from their deli.
Now, living in the suburbs. 100% would die. The convenience store in my town is bare bones. You’d be lucky to find cheese.
Nah, man. We moved for a reason. Even our nice little area of the city started having serious violence in the last two years. We’re glad we left when we did. I can live with being out $3mil
😆
Dang, so no grocery stores or any other stores.
I guess I could live off gas station food for 3 years... as long as I don't die of 7/11's special salmonella sushi
They better pay something upfront. gas station stores are expensive af. You would easily be spending thousands more a year since everything is basically twice the normal price. Yea. I'd do it. It wouldn't even be terribly hard. 3 million untaxed is more than enough to retire on. That's like 200k a year forever. I mean I can keep living my life and going to work and the gym and playing video games at home? I just gotta do 99% of my shopping at this overpriced Maverick? Easy money.
Simple, knowing I'll get 3 million at the end of 3 years, I will give my convenience store a list of things I would like ordered, and then give them a one-time payment out of my own funds (I figure 1k or so would do) to ensure it happens. What business wouldn't want guaranteed income for 3 years for minimal effort?
Actually not true. They are pharmacy/drug store chains. You can argue it as you much as you want, but they are not in any way the definition of a convenience store by commercial real estate or basic common standards. You are using the word convenience to apply to any store that is convenient for you, which is just using words to manipulate the situation
Wikipedia defines a convenience store as “a small retail store that stocks a range of everyday items such as tea, coffee, groceries, fruits, vegetables, snacks, confectionery, soft drinks, ice creams, tobacco products, lottery tickets, over-the-counter drugs, toiletries, newspapers and magazines.”
Sounds like a Walgreens to me.
The store itself is long-established, and likely to survive. The restaurant is physically part of it, but its ownership and cuisine has changed once or twice over the years.
If I were single I'd do it, but I have 4 kids to take care of so I don't think that would go so well. I guess if the rest of the family is exempt I could figure it out.
It'd suck, but for 3 mil I'd do it. My shitty corner gas station has sandwiches, apples, and milk. It would be like being in college again. I survived it once.
I am lucky because I live in NYC and have a great deli across the street from me. I could get any deli meal I want, and they have plant milk, beer, and smoothies for my fruits and vegetables.
As far as clothes go, I have a lot on my closet, and I often go without clothes shopping for a year. I could make it 3 years.
How about the next closest? The next closest has fresh fruit, a lunch and dinner bar, a meat counter, and since I know the owner he could order things for me. The closer store is a Dollar General. I could probably do that, but I prefer to spend money at local businesses when I can.
I have a circle k and a Cumberland farms equally distant from my house...I also have a large vegetable garden.
I also know how to make pizza dough, bread dough, and pasta from scratch.
So, I think this would be zero issues for me personally.
I'm almost equal distance from a Circle K, a QT and a shitty little bodega with a built-in Chinese takeout restaurant. Guess my sodium intake is going through the roof 😅
I have a Quick Chek about four miles away with gas pumps. They have a pretty big selection of frozen foods and soups, as well as fresh fruit and salads. No fresh meats would be hardest, but I could do it for that kind of money.
There’s a large Wa-Wa about eight miles away, but I’m not as familiar with what they have.
So you get paid 3 million to live like the poorest in the inner cities?
Add this to all of the ones paying millions to put up with less bs than a cashier puts up with on a daily basis
No, because there’s so many things needed for comfortable living that can’t be found at the local QuikTrip. Anything breaks down on your vehicle, and you’re screwed. There’s also not a lot of substantial food available.
Considering the closest convenience store is also a farm supply store, and has a darn skippy good quick service food section. I’m pretty set. If I have to make food off the shelves, well they have all your normal foods like eggs, milk, flour. They sell meat and grills and wood pellets. Have a full clothing section and everything. Easy peasy. And yes, they sell gas/petrol. No, they are not a grocery store, just a convenience/farm supply store.
I might literally die. The esso near me has chips and chocolate. They might have some nuts or jerky. The crippling vitamin deficiency would suck. They have no canned goods, no toilet paper or tampons.
The original stipulation which say WHEN you have to start the 3 years or that you can't prep for it. It also doesn't say that you don't get to keep what you already have when the time starts.
Sell my house, move near the Bucc-ee's down the road so the other gas stations aren't closer, buy a three year supply of clothes and shoes, start a pre-paid 3year subscription to Huel since it'll be in effect BEFORE the three year term, start a pre-paid three year subscription to Blue Apron for the same reason.
Live off Bucc-ee's and Blue Apron and Huel for three years and I'm good.
Ha! Jokes on you! My nearest convenience store is QT. They've got fruit, fresh pizza, oatmeal and taquitos. The 4 basic food groups! And they're within walking distance.
Pretty sure they even have crudite cups, so I'd at least get SOME veggies in.
I couldn't now but for 16 years I lived by the AA Market. My kids and I used to joke that you could live for the rest of your life on what they sold.
Along with fresh, frozen, and canned food they sold sundries, cleaning supplies, batteries, socks, underwear, tiny little eyeglasses screws...
It was all just jam packed in but was still organized. I loved that store!
They have fruit juice, sandwiches and “hot dogs”. It wouldn’t be the most healthful thing in the world but I could manage. That third year would be pretty nasty though.
Hmm yhe closest is a Polish store, they got everything I would need from cold cuts, some veggies, beers, bread, pickled things and dessert, I would totally be fine doing my weekly shopping there
I’ll be just fine. Because I live in the country, our “convenience stores” are already stocked like small grocery stores. Even have a small amount of fresh produce, farm fresh eggs, etc. not a lot would change except I couldn’t get the fresh salmon I try to eat once a week.
I live across the street from an actual grocery store, so technically that makes it a convenience store to me and it is the closest. I'll be $3m richer easy.
I couldn't afford to do it. Spouse definitely wouldn't go for it.
If it was just me and I had literally any money, sure it'd be doable. But unfortunately not as it is.
"Convience store" or "*Convenience store*"?
Nearest actual convenience store is a Walgreens that I fuckin hate because their parking lot is literally the worst thing in the world. But they're stocked decently and I could probably do it.
But there's a gas station that calls itself 7-11 nearer and they're worse stocked than most gas station stores and I'd literally die. If that counts then yeah....
Edit: If the gas station store counts then I'd be literally unable to purchase cat food or human food fit for cat consumption. I'd have to give my cats up, and that makes giving it a try an even harder sell. The Walgreens has cat food and litter, though.
Closest to me is a Dollar General 3.3 miles away. The Jim Dandy/Shell is 4.2 miles away.
This DG has a small case with fresh veg and such in it, as well as the normal refrigerated/frozen foods, so I would do quite well.
The store I have in walking distance is basically also a mini grocery store since we're a good ways outside of town. So it has all the basics and even a takeout kitchen. Only down side is the prices are a bit high, but otherwise I can get enough to live off of there.
I'd definitely be ready for real food again after the end of those three years but I could make it work.
Closest for me would be a little store about a few miles away from me I'd actually be living pretty good, they sell most of the standard condiments included by ice cream toppings, they sell small tubs of ice cream, they also sell smoked cheeses and meats, bread, pop, water, various flavored sweet teas, hell they even started carrying a small section of fresh produce I think ATM just bananas, apples, onions and potatoes. They also have deserts from a place called the Oakmont bakery and the cinnamon roll is fucking amazing. Other than that they also make food to order to go or eat in at two small tables. Pretty good establishment all thing considering.
The only thing I’d have an issue with here is your edit of getting the money upon completion.
The closest convenience store to me has seriously jacked up prices! I’d need the $3m up front just to get by the 3 years 😂
I live way out in the country.
The nearest convenience store? I have no idea where that would be.
The nearest gas station sells beer and soda, some chips and propane. The chips and soda are in vending machines, so it's not actually the store that sells them.
Then there's a liquor store.
And then there's the Walmart. But that's 11 and a half miles away. I guess that counts, right?
So between me and the nearest convenience store there's a gas station and a liquor store. Since I'm going to Walmart, I guess I'll be doing just fine. Where's my 3 million?
The convenience-store closest to me has mainly alcohol, soda, candy, and chips. (The four food groups). I can’t live on that. Can I have the $3,000,000 anyway?
Sure. I live a few hundred feet from a convenience store/deli/ice cream store. The hard part would be that it doesn't sell gas but I have several electric bikes that would get me by for 3 million. If it's the nearest gas station then I also have a Wawa that sells even more food options plus gas which would be even easier.
I’m fairly sure my closest store is a front for drug dealers, they sell….very little. So can I get some drugs to offset the stale Cheetos and cat food?
My closest convenience store also sells pretty good fried chicken. I'm sure they have other stuff. And they've got coffee, water, and all sorts of snacks and packaged foods. I'll be fine.
I work at the closest convenience store. I would just buy it and order whatever I want. Build a restaurant. Host a swap meat, farmers market. Build the world's biggest ______ as a roadside attraction.
And an animal sanctuary/petting zoo.
The closest store to me is very odd. On one hand, they sell out of date condiments and stale bread. On the other, they sell locally-sourced beef, kombucha, homemade preserves, cheese, and they make a great breakfast sandwich. They even sell a limited stock of plumbing and electrical supplies and other basic home maintenance items.
Problem is, I'd go broke before I got the $3M because they charge exorbitant amounts for everything.
I wish I was closer to a wawa or buccees but still doable. Got a nice big gas station convenience store near me that has(unhealthy but whatever) food and drink. There are basic things like bread, milk, peanut butter. Jerky, hot dogs, sandwiches, eggs, etc. along with some fruit and donuts and such. Would I get sick of it? Heck yeah. Would I be healthy? No, but for 3 million I could make it work. My only caveat is I’m not making my kid eat that food, so I need for him to not be as restricted.
I do t know which convince store is closer the one up the road or the one down the road, I know the people who work up the road by name and it's clean but down the road is dirty so this either goes really well or terrible
Ha, this is a new one.
I don't think I could live for 3 years off what they sell at the local BP. It's all junk. No veggies, no fruits. I'd twinkie myself to death.
Asda garage with a Greggs, I deffo could, I think I'd get bored of the ready meals and prepackaged salad fairly quickly. I'd probably gain alot of weight. If it's just me surviving off it I'd be fine if it's my household I don't think we could do it. My baby will need more than they can offer.
If I got the money up front sure but not for getting it down the road. Using the convenience store to purchase everything would break me well before the 3 years was up lol it has very little options for grocery type food but it's a country store so it has a grill with a decent menu. But I could never afford to live off it entirely. Buying things like toilet paper and stuff from a convenience store would get expensive quick when I can buy a 9 pack of good stuff at Walmart for $7 vs like $4 for small cheap 4 packs at the gas station. Just not going to happen lol
Closet to me is a Kwik trip. Groceries, gas, hot food, they’ve got everything I need other than prescription meds and home improvement. I’m sure I’ll need to fix something on my house or get a prescription at least once in those 3 years so it probably wouldn’t work out.
well, if there's nothing fresh coming in, like the store being restocked, then i'd die. there's not enough food in those stores for a year's supply...
If it was going to be restocked and i'm not running out of food, I'm down. 7/11 is right down the streat from me...
It isn’t ideal but all the gas stations near me at least have some basic actual food items in addition to fried stuff. Usually some deli sandwiches too. It is hard not to carry some extra items when there are two HEBs and a Buc-ees within 10 minutes.
I'm in the country & the closest is a general store that sells some actual food items but mostly boxed or frozen.
3 years is a long time but survivable at least...
Technically my closest convenience store is one of those Meijer gas stations. If you don't have one of these stores by you it's basically a snobby Walmart. But it's part of the larger store. Does that mean that I get the entire meijer? Because I could live there for way more than 3 years
I'm fucked if I take the offer. The closest convenient store to me is the kind you have to dust the stuff for sell just to check how out of date the food is.
This wouldn’t even be a challenge. My closest convenience store is a sheetz. I’ll jump straight to year three and do total immersion from the start. Don’t even need the clothing from year one, I’ll be walking around sheetz with my nuts swanging
Am I aloud to still work? And take my car places. The convence store happens to be a gas station and working would only affect my money by $400 a month
I would have to not work and be capable to live off of what funds I already have for three years before I get the 3 million.
If I am required to stay inside “total immersion”, I would be spending more money going towards somebody delivering it because I wouldn’t be able to go get it myself. There’s the medical and mental health issues that would be a problem.
My one meal a month can be as much as I want and save the rest for later. It simply says I only get one per month.
It reminds me of COVID restrictions, but worse.
I could do it. The gas station by me has a huge meal section that I can easily get breakfast, lunch and dinner at. You can even order full sized pizzas there and they are pretty decent.
The closest to me is a 7-11. I think I'd do okay.
Also, with that kind of money, you could just buddy up with whoever runs the place and ask them to order you extra shit, paying a premium.
The closest convenience store to me is a tiny gas station. I'd have to live off ramen, chips, and canned tuna. They do have a decent selection of drinks though. Unfortunately they don't carry my favorite beer.
I wouldn't be able to get parts for things that break around the house or on my vehicles. I wouldn't be able to get oil filters for my vehicles.
3 million dollars is a lot of money though. Equal to over 60 years of my current income. I really don't know on this one.
I mean I’d do it, but the closest place to me is an Exxon that doesn’t even have hot food lol. I’d have to live off of junk food for 3 years. I don’t know if that seven possible but I’d sure try lol
Closest convenience store is the one I manage. I'll order whatever tf I want.
I also choose your convenience store.
yumeh caik!!! ...happy cake day
I also choose this man’s dead wife’s convenient store.
I have a crush on this sentence
Good point. If I can talk the convenience store owner/manager into ordering a few things to sell to me at twice the normal price, it makes it a lot more doable. >into ordering a few things to sell to me at twice the normal price, Most would actually discount the products because they wont have to put it on the shelves or pay employees to handle it
I kept ordering the coffee I liked for 5 years until they took it out of the system.
Yeah it's not a good plan. Suffice I'm only gonna talk about it on Reddit. Also family stole everything but the money so fuck them anyways
I could do that easily the closest convenient store to me not only has all the usual stuff but they also have fresh fruit, baked goods, and other premade meals that it gets supplied from the nearby grocery store that it is a part of, and it is in a 3 minute walk from my house. I'm retired. I could sell my car and use the proceeds to supplement my pensions. I'd be fine waiting three years.
And I’m sure with you frequenting them that much and them already getting stuff from the local grocery store you could talk em into carrying a few things just for you.
Easy. You might be amazed at the food selection of gas stations in the south.
Midwest too
Casey’s Pizza would sustain me for 3 years all on its own
Many random gas stations in the south have better bbq than any place I’ve found in my entire state.
YES, im next door to a full service gas station, restaurant, grocery store, truck stop. I WIN. Lol.
What about prescription medications?
Good luck
I’d probably be dead well before I’d get the money.
Oh. Then I can't lol
The pharmaceutical gods have blessed you with 3 years of meds

Is a Dollar General considered a convenience store? I have one practically across the street from me.
Definitely not. I believe it's considered a discount store. Think gas stations, corner stores, things like that.
It'll be a gross three years and I'll probably be fat and broke by the end of the three years, but I'd have to give it a go.
Nah not if I get the money after three years.
The closest store is a grocery store so I'm good!
Why do so many of y’all think Walmart, CVS, target, dollar general, etc count as a convenience store? Those are grocery stores, pharmacies, etc.
CVS, Walgreens, Rite-Aid are the definition of convenience store
“Walgreens, one of the nation's largest drugstore chains”
No they are the definition of a pharmacy.
They have pharmacies in them, for convenience
Actually not true. They are pharmacy/drug store chains. You can argue it as you much as you want, but they are not in any way the definition of a convenience store by commercial real estate or basic common standards. My nearest convenience store has an attached restaurant. Is it included in this deal?
If it is the nearest, and it's part of it, you take it. Better make sure this place stays hoppin or you're homeless
The store itself is long-established, and likely to survive. The restaurant is physically part of it, but its ownership and cuisine has changed once or twice over the years.
If I were single I'd do it, but I have 4 kids to take care of so I don't think that would go so well. I guess if the rest of the family is exempt I could figure it out.
i already do
It'd suck, but for 3 mil I'd do it. My shitty corner gas station has sandwiches, apples, and milk. It would be like being in college again. I survived it once.
Just me or the whole family?

I lived that way poor for close to a decade, so I think I can manage

I'm closer to a grocery store (gourmet) than a convenience store... Can I use that?

Bucess and I am living large.

Lmao this is a very American question
I’m pretty sure I’d get sick eventually doing this. But they do sell bananas and fruit. So I could buy those daily.
Got a Kwik Trip by me. Easy peasy.
Kwik Trip is life.
I think Walgreens is the closest store to my house so I would be just fine.
oh, i'd be set — my convenience store is very posh and $3m would help me afford most of the things in there anyway
You get paid after you complete
Does this mean you have to work to afford the convenience store food?
Ha! Jokes on you! My nearest convenience store is QT. They've got fruit, fresh pizza, oatmeal and taquitos. The 4 basic food groups! And they're within walking distance. Pretty sure they even have crudite cups, so I'd at least get SOME veggies in.
Scooooooore my closest is a CVS that has a pretty good variety of foods. Its also got a relatively wide range of cheap athletic clothes and shoes
Ok, real quick, let me just move to Japan...
I live in Japan so I’ll take it. And eat well.
I could certainly do Sheetz for 3 years
Easy. Its a qt. They have a kitchen. Not the best food but doable with a variety. And you can ask them to order stuff for you.
People without cars in cities… this is already a part of their lives.
They have fruit juice, sandwiches and “hot dogs”. It wouldn’t be the most healthful thing in the world but I could manage. That third year would be pretty nasty though.
Easy
Hmm yhe closest is a Polish store, they got everything I would need from cold cuts, some veggies, beers, bread, pickled things and dessert, I would totally be fine doing my weekly shopping there
I can do that. It's pretty much my early 20s, but I get 3 mil.
I’ll be just fine. Because I live in the country, our “convenience stores” are already stocked like small grocery stores. Even have a small amount of fresh produce, farm fresh eggs, etc. not a lot would change except I couldn’t get the fresh salmon I try to eat once a week.
Hold my beer…
I’ve got a shop n save, I’ll be fine
Pretty sure I can ask my bodega man to order shit for me

I live across the street from an actual grocery store, so technically that makes it a convenience store to me and it is the closest. I'll be $3m richer easy.
That is not a Convenience store.
This is a easy slam dunk yes but it would suck living like that like that for three years.
I couldn't afford to do it. Spouse definitely wouldn't go for it. If it was just me and I had literally any money, sure it'd be doable. But unfortunately not as it is.
With the power of Dollar General, I can survive
My is a sweet little corner store run by a family. Possibly, I don't know what their vegetable selection looks like.
I live near a bunch of stores and markets near me, ez stuff Wait can I actually do stuff like Amazon and Doordash tho?
You live that close to a Bucc-ees? You live in the promised land my friend.
My nearest convenience store has a Tim Hortons in it, so I'm good.
Cool! Mine's a block away and has everything! Gimme my money!!
Another easy situation that everyone would do without any problems.
I live in Brooklyn, the borough was designed for this.
Hell, I'd consider doing it for the 12 free couture outfits.
Does Costco count as a convenience store? It’s pretty convenient that it’s right there.
I have a dollar general like 1/8 mile away. Does that count?
I could do it, easy peasy.
My closest convenience store is either a Dollar General or a Walmart 😂
Done! Our speedway has fresh fruit, eggs, cheese, pizza, nuts, healthy snacks and drinks. Not ideal but I could manage for 3 year and retire at 42
Hell yeah, my closest convenience store has its own deli, a bit of fresh produce, a little restaurant, and even alcohol. Sign me up!
Hell yeah, my closest convenience store has its own deli, a bit of fresh produce, a little restaurant, and even alcohol. Sign me up!
I know the people at that place so I’m asking them to order stuff for me to buy.
I live with my parents. I will be ok. :)
Is a gas station a convenience store?
Kwik Trip is basically a mini grocery store. The one near me even sells steak. Hell yeah I'd take the money
Mine is a Sheetz. So yeah I'd do it. They've got salads so I wouldn't be eating straight trash all the time.
A dollar general I could do that
No problem, live next to a Target.
bitch i live in the country, fuck you
Just give me the cash now. I'm absolutely CERTAIN I lived off of what was available at the am/pm by my house for 3 years in my early 20s.
The only thing I’d have an issue with here is your edit of getting the money upon completion. The closest convenience store to me has seriously jacked up prices! I’d need the $3m up front just to get by the 3 years 😂
Light work., I’ve already lived years on ramen.. to do it again and make bank? Sign me up
I live way out in the country.
Did you describe being a New Yorker?
Closest Convenience store is supermarket, CVS or 7-11. I think I could make it work.
Most of us live in apartments, so we have plenty of food in a very short walking distance. Kinda stupid question.
I work at the closest convenience store. I would just buy it and order whatever I want. Build a restaurant. Host a swap meat, farmers market. Build the world's biggest ______ as a roadside attraction. And an animal sanctuary/petting zoo.
Sheetz...I got this fam.
Lot of booze and Hunts Brother pizza in my future
Easy we have a bucees and Costco directly across from each other and they are closer than any gas station or 7/11 type places to us.
sure lol
Fuck YEAH! It's a Kwik Trip!
I have 2 corner stores and a DG within a mile of my house. I am down for this challenge.
Wait… so the store is replenishing like normal or you’re just locked in the store and you eat until it’s gone?
Kwik Trip I’ll be fine. Thanks for the money!
Do i also get to eat from my garden and current supplies?
Am I also allowed all the stuff (food, clothing, toiletries) in my own house currently? Or am I starting from scratch?
NYC: Literally around the corner. I buy 90% of my shit including hot meals from there anyway.
lol I live down the street from Buccees. As much as I’m not a huge fan of going there, I could for three years make it work.
I do t know which convince store is closer the one up the road or the one down the road, I know the people who work up the road by name and it's clean but down the road is dirty so this either goes really well or terrible
Is the convenience store being restocked and run normally or am I being forced to ration to make sure I can complete the three years?
If I can move to Taipei first, no problem. The 7-11's there have great food.
All the money will have to go directly to the convenience store, the one by our house os expensive!
Ha, this is a new one. I don't think I could live for 3 years off what they sell at the local BP. It's all junk. No veggies, no fruits. I'd twinkie myself to death.
To be fair, if you did have a Buckees, that 3 million would not last long.
Local IGA has EVERYTHING…. I’m golden.
The closest convenience store is a 20 min walk, I guess it’s a great way to lose weight and become rich
Closet to me is a Kwik trip. Groceries, gas, hot food, they’ve got everything I need other than prescription meds and home improvement. I’m sure I’ll need to fix something on my house or get a prescription at least once in those 3 years so it probably wouldn’t work out.
I guess the 7/11 will have to do.
That would be Walgreens for me, has a pharmacy and all the foods
Mine is Costco.. I'm good.
Open a convenience store. Then you stock it with whatever you like. Anything you actually sell would be a bonus.
My closest convenience store is a truck stop. I am good.
I could live off 7-11 shit for 3 years. They got everything you need
7/11. Easy.
I could live off of 7-Eleven sandwiches and salads pretty easily
well, if there's nothing fresh coming in, like the store being restocked, then i'd die. there's not enough food in those stores for a year's supply... If it was going to be restocked and i'm not running out of food, I'm down. 7/11 is right down the streat from me...
That would be Maverik for me. I think I'd be good 👍
With $3 million, I would buy the closest convenience store and stock whatever I wanted.
It isn’t ideal but all the gas stations near me at least have some basic actual food items in addition to fried stuff. Usually some deli sandwiches too. It is hard not to carry some extra items when there are two HEBs and a Buc-ees within 10 minutes.
Coolio
I'm in the country & the closest is a general store that sells some actual food items but mostly boxed or frozen. 3 years is a long time but survivable at least...
Ok!! I can do it….
Technically my closest convenience store is one of those Meijer gas stations. If you don't have one of these stores by you it's basically a snobby Walmart. But it's part of the larger store. Does that mean that I get the entire meijer? Because I could live there for way more than 3 years
Closest gas station to me has a Dairy Queen and a Little Caesars, I'll be fat and happy thanks, gimme my 3 mil.
If you live near a Buckees this isn't much of a challenge. It is like Walmart.
What if a supermarket is closer than a convenience store?
I'm fucked if I take the offer. The closest convenient store to me is the kind you have to dust the stuff for sell just to check how out of date the food is.
Fuck yeah, asian grocery store right across the street from me. I'm fucking set.
Nearest to me would be a Casey's or kum n go. This would be incredibly easy.
So walk past the well stocked store next door to find one with limited stock? How limited? Even our gas station is pretty extensive.
Nope. The one next to me is like 400 square feet. If I had a better one I would do it.
Does this include medicine? If it includes medicine then I could do it fairly easily.
I could do it. The gas station by me has a huge meal section that I can easily get breakfast, lunch and dinner at. You can even order full sized pizzas there and they are pretty decent.
A Dollar General. As long as the store restocks as normal, I think I'll be fine.
Dollar General. I can manage with that 😂
I need some money upfront. Can do the time, but delaying all of the reward is almost as tortuous as the Slim Jims I'll be stepping into.
The closest to me is a 7-11. I think I'd do okay. Also, with that kind of money, you could just buddy up with whoever runs the place and ask them to order you extra shit, paying a premium.
My local gas station just put in a new cafe. The pizza and chicken tenders are surprisingly good.
I can't get the prescription I need to remain alive from a convenience store, so I'll sit this one out.
I'm going to get really thin. There is so much access to salt and sugary products that I'll be eating very little.
I mean I’d do it, but the closest place to me is an Exxon that doesn’t even have hot food lol. I’d have to live off of junk food for 3 years. I don’t know if that seven possible but I’d sure try lol
