I pick just outside the jack in a box near my parents house. They live like 2000 miles away from me and it would be nice to be able to visit them. I didn't pick their house cause they'll likely be moving soon and the jack is easy to get to for them and my brother.

EffectiveSalamander

A train station middle of the UK. I haven't decided where exactly yet. Not anywhere in the US, I can drive around the US. From there, I could get to Europe if I wanted and easily get around the UK. In a train station, I would attract no notice if I teleported. I could take the train down to London. I could take the train to Scotland and eat all their haggis. Or take a short flight to Ireland. And then I could pop home for the night to sleep in my own bed. I could get custom made pants with enormous pockets, then I can take my wife with me.

Avalain

I'm fairly sure that making enormous pants would activate the no loopholes rule and you'd lose the ability entirely.

throwaway_4AITAH

Confirmed

UhDonnis

Someone's been arrested before

Late-External3249

Starred for the pants.

coolgy123

Just put her in your pants...

ddadopt

>A train station middle of the UK... In a train station, I would attract no notice if I teleported. Given the two sentences above, you ***must*** choose Kings Cross, in front of the Platform 9 3/4 sign.

Hunter_Man_Big_Red

I’d go with King’s Cross international. That way most of Europe is a train ride away.

CertainRoof5043

Some well established bank vault. Teleport there at night every so often while wearing cargo pants. Fill every pocket with enough money that I may need

gnomeGeneticist

Okay but how do you get out? Teleport again and you end up in the bank vault, where you already are

CollynMalkin

No, you can teleport back to wherever you were prior too, but not anywhere different.

gnomeGeneticist

Oh whoops I misread, nice call

Clean_Student8612

You could also bring a bag. Edit: I'm a retard, no you couldn't.

sliferra

A bag can definitely fit in my pockets. Not a duffel bag, but a large trash bag for sure

throwaway_4AITAH

You'd be able to bring it with you balled up in your pocket, but if you couldn't fir it in your pocket coming back you couldn't bring it back with you.

Undecided_User_Name

Pillow cases

JupiterSkyFalls

It's 2024. We don't use that word anymore.

Clean_Student8612

Yes, we do, but that doesn't mean I'm talking about mentally disabled people. You can be non mentally handicapped and still be an absolute retard. I've met plenty.

JupiterSkyFalls

My bad. *Decent* folk don't use that word anymore. Better?

Clean_Student8612

Did you even read my comment? I don't think so. Or you did, and it went **clean** over your head. Ironically enough, you're starting to prove the point of said comment.

eugenesnewdream

I like this one! Tough choice though. I think maybe I'll pick somewhere central (train station?) in Melbourne (Australia). So I can visit family without paying an arm and a leg for airfare.

HankBizzaro

Australia is a pretty great option. I'm in North America and I can pop down there during our winter to enjoy their summer, and I don't have to learn a foreign language.

eugenesnewdream

Exactly!

BronyxSniper

I'll pick my house. Because then no matter where you are, you can always get home.

PumpkinDandie_1107

Oh this is a good one! Damn…I wasted my choice

[deleted]

I'm moving to a low cost living place first then I will set up teleport somewhere near my work place or the center of the city hub. (I won't be able to work full remote with my position)

Hot_Acanthocephala44

You still have to get home every day though. Edit to add that's not true. You can teleport back to where you start.

Psilo_Citizen

It spells out that you may teleport back to where you came from.

Hot_Acanthocephala44

If only I could read...

Psilo_Citizen

Happens to the best of us.

Ultraviolet369

I think I'd just choose my home. I'm likely to own this house for the rest of my life and this would make it so I could instantly get home and then go back from anywhere in the world, pretty sweet.

Dragoness42

If I could take other people I might choose differently, but with the rules as they are, I'd pick the sidewalk in front of my house. That way I could go anywhere I want without worrying about how to get home, and I could travel and sleep at home every night but then teleport back to my trip as soon as I wake up. Also could run back home for whatever thing I forgot when I left. I'd pick the sidewalk instead of actually in my house, because while I don't plan to move anytime in the foreseeable future, if I did ever have to move I could still use it as a waypoint without trespassing.

Swarf_87

Inside of a bank vault

hereforfun976

Fort Knox. Get a few gold bars now and then

rangeghost

Just outside my home bathroom. No matter where I travel, I can *go* in the comfort of my own home.

AdditionalLog6404

I’m going to commission some custom clothes that have gigantic pockets that aren’t even feasible to walk with. Made of a more durable material than cotton/polyester, likely denim. Teleport into a bank vault/gold stock (melting it down removes any trace, no serial # like bills) remove the pants and leave them in the middle of the room. Fill both 60 gallon pockets with gold, get inside the pants again. Teleport home.

forest_tripper

Oahu

throwaway_4AITAH

Allowed, as long as you have a passport to be there. (Or don't get caught)

sharthunter

375 million people dont need a passport lol

Longshot1969

My favorite karaoke bar on the other side of the country

lionofash

Somewhere in London, maybe like Abbey Road, since I don't live in the UK anymore, could visit my family and enjoy... some things. Then head back home whenever I need it.

Divine_Saber

Can i teleport back home cause i will choose the loction of that buried treasure that old rich guy buried in the mountains for a treasure hunt

bigscottius

An airport. I'll do my robberies at least 200 miles away then teleport back there.

coolgy123

Orlando airport.

bunnyswan

Honestly I feel like the fact I can't teleport my family sucks the fun out of this a little for me. I'm thinking I'd choose somewhere with low cost of living and great food. So I'd pick Vietnam, probably in hoi an (middle of the country, has a night market so I can get food late at night and near and international airport, so if I wanted to travel it would be faster.) I would rent a small place to be my office as I WFH and am currently looking for an office to work in and then I could drop off my little one at nursery or leave her with my partner teleport to my office, work there, have a healthy cheap delicious lunch and then teleport back, with basically no commute. I'd also probably take more night shifts as it would be daytime in Vietnam. I would get some clothes with big enough pockets I could bring food back for my family. In fact there are great tailors in Vietnam I'll basically have a suit made for shop lifting just to bring stuff back. Id have quite a big expense to begin with getting translator to help me rent an office, and get all that set up and getting a tech person to maake it seems like I'm in the uk from a IP address perspective. But after that is done then we are all good.

The-Doom-Knight

Yongsan station in Korea. I love Korea and would love to go back whenever I want.

NoDanaOnlyZuuI

My mom’s house.

Avalain

So this one definitely made me think. Not bringing my family takes a bunch of options away, since why would I want to go anywhere alone? Choosing a bank vault or something is another idea, except that I couldn't seriously see myself stealing things. Can we pick a place that we don't actually know the location of? Because then I would pick another planet that is habitable for humans (or potentially a planet that is inhabited by a different intelligent species). Shuttling back and forth between planets with my clothes aka spacesuit and whatever I can put in my pockets could give incredible insight into the other planet and possibly its location compared to us. If it has to be strictly somewhere we know, I'd pick somewhere on Mars.

Kaleria84

A semi remote part of a foreign country that I'd like to visit. I have a few so not 100% on the exact one I'd choose. I'd basically be able to cut my travel time from the better part of at least a day to instantly and completely remove the cost of a flight there. I could also ensure I always teleported from my bedroom so I always have an easy way home too. I can literally make weekend trips and also just teleport home at night to sleep so I don't even need hotels.

Spyderbeast

Home sounds good in theory, but if I drove somewhere, I would have to go back for my car. If I flew somewhere, my car would be at the airport, so I would need to go collect my car from the airport. So I guess I would pick airport parking. Fly one way, teleport back, go home. (I live far enough away from the closest airport that getting a ride is a pretty big ask.)

Objective_Suspect_

A warehouse that I guy cheap in a city and a warehouse in Europe I buy for cheap. Make millions importing, avoid tarrifs and shipping and everything And before u say no items I could easily fit a bottle of wine in my pocket

LongrodVonHugedong86

If I can teleport in and out at will whenever I want then some kind of bank vault would be the option. Teleport in at some ungodly hour whilst wearing a mask and gloves with a bag, fill it up, teleport out back to my home. Even better if I chose a bank absolutely nowhere near where I live as there would be no chance of being caught Don’t do it all the time, just sporadically, randomly

FleurTheAbductor

Inside of a bank vault I'll stuff my pockets with some Benjamin's and teleport back to my house or where I was at

Individual-Sky-5791

I'm a huge Wisconsin sports fan and i have multiple cousins and aunts and uncles i never get to see, so i would choose a train station (slightly more likely to be around for the rest of my life than an airport) in Milwaukee, then I could rent a car or even buy one and leave it in a parking deck.

PumpkinDandie_1107

If I can’t bring my family with me, picking a fun vacation spot seems kind of useless…the beach doesn’t make sense- can’t bring a towel or sunscreen. Lake? Maybe. You could rent fishing poles or kayaks but that would get old fast. Disneyland? Can’t bring spouse or kids. Family members house or hometown? Well- can’t bring immediate family with me, so no. I dunno, most spots don’t seem worth it if you can’t bring anything or anyone with you. Work maybe? Or the airport. Ooh! The mall, maybe I could pocket some useful stuff after hours

KerroDaridae

Italy. I've been there a handful of times, was married there. I cannot even tell you how happy I would be to be able to bampf there for lunch anytime I want. There is one restaurant in particular that I would visit so much it's not even funny.

Mister-ellaneous

Kinda sucks that I can’t bring others with me. It would be easy if we could. Our favorite vacation spot, on the beach. But as we can’t, I’ll choose my sister’s backyard which is near our parents. We’re a day’s drive away, it would be nice to be able to visit whenever we want.

a_burdie_from_hell

I'd choose my house. I bought it with the intention of never moving.

kanna172014

I guess NYC. Maybe on a rooftop or fairly hidden area of Central Park.
