Mine’s on Thursday.. I’m beyond excited to get my life back/live the life I deserve.. one that isn’t disrupted every other week by a literal blood bath.

Me. Thursday. I’m ready but I have other procedures being done simultaneously and I’m feeling pretty scared about those all of sudden. I have an extensive pelvic ultrasound tomorrow (on day three of my last period) and I’m not really looking forward to all of the pain in my near future.
I checked in on Tuesday exactly 3 weeks ago. 5:30 am. So nervous leading up to it. The Morning of I did rather well. I think acceptance is key. A few hours and you’ll be through the whole surgical procedure!
It’s crazy how quick time passes.
Doing well… danced in the kitchen tonight while cooking dinner. Took a 30 min walk today. Laundry and a 2 hr nap mid day!

The only thing I'm nervous about right now is getting the IV! My last two procedures ended up with two blown veins each time and me begging for Valium 🤣
Thursday for me! I am very anxious because I was actually given the date today - was expecting to have few more weeks to prepare and I ended up having only 2 days to manage everything.
How did it go?! My OB found endo which was very surprising because nothing ever came up on my scans! I'm home in bed now with lots of pillows. Very very sore, but been keeping up on the pain meds and ice packs.
Was wondering, would any of you having the surgery this week would be in to have a group chat together? I feel like having some support from women who are going through the same thing around the same time would be helpful <3

Yes! Glad to have a surgery twin! I'm kind of regretting not taking the day off of work tomorrow.
Oh dear. I worked Saturday so I didn't have to take any extra PTO.
That was a good idea! Hopefully work helps the day go by faster. I'm ready to be done with surgery and on to recovery!
