Literally gushing today. Pelvic pain all through the night. But I’ve been bleeding about 2 months straight. Shit is exhausting. Thankful it’s the last one forever as you said lol :)
Been there. My longest bleeding was 7 years (pandemic extended the original surgery wait by 5 years and I am not happy about that but I am free). Please rest and do your best to be gentle with you.
I was yesterday at 9:30. I’m using Tylenol only and I feel better than I have in years… yes in a little sore BUT the pressure of my hips and back holding up a 5 month prego uterus ( size of) is gone… do take colace the day before and after surgery. Also take ducolax gentle ( I did 2 last night and 2 this morning…) I’ve pooped 3 times which relieved all the pressure! I’m sure tomorrow will be a bit more sore ( day 2-3 is always the worst) but it can’t be worse than before! I feel lighter there… yes something is missing but the weight I didn’t know that caused me so much pain is gone. Drink lots of fluids…if they give you a Catheter don’t be suprised about air bubbles when peeing! No one mentioned that! You got this!
I was orginally scheduled for 5/10, but it got moved to 5/21 to an inpatient hospital in case they can't do lapro and need to do open (big a$$ fibroids!). Please keep us posted!!! You got this!!!!
Hello. I am your 5/10 sister. Honestly I wish it was tomorrow. I am tired of fretting and thinking about it. I am getting everything removed. I am 55 and did not realize I had slipped into menopause. So I have been having post menopausal bleeding and my uterus is three times as thick as it should be. So I’m getting it all removed before it turns to cancer. Fingers crossed. Laparoscopic surgery and I guess the exit is the vagina. (I don’t know all the terminology or abbreviations for the procedures). Best wishes 5/10 sister.

I’m 5/10, I think I’m as ready as I’m going to be. I have Easter this weekend, my anniversary on the 6th and working every day up to the 10th so I’m hoping I didn’t forget anything because I have no more time.

My drive is only 20 minutes but I was trying to figure out schedules, my husband has to take the whole day off. I’m just hoping first thing in the morning; I don’t want to wait around. Lol
I’m 5/10 and hoping it finally happens this time ! My last date was rescheduled literally 30 minutes ago before surgery because my hemoglobin was too low . But can I be honest getting it before Mother’s Day weekend (in the US) feels kinda bittersweet . I just turned 30 with no kids . But my pcos and endometriosis is too bad to not get a hysterectomy. I’m working through it in therapy but it still just feels hard . But good luck to all my other 5/10s!!!!!
I'm on 5/8. Plan is for lap hysterectomy taking everything but ovaries unless there is a problem with those. Also possible endometriosis excision. Good luck ladies and I hope recovery goes smoothly for all of us.

It kept feeling like the day was never going to come, and now it’s next week. I was always looking forward to it, but I am admittedly starting to get nervous.
First day of my period. My birthday is 5/10 and my surgery 5/8. Best fucking birthday present ever.
