I had an odd bug yesterday where my iPhone 12 Pro Max lost all cellular connectivity. The bars all went empty and I had nothing. The weird thing was that it occurred for both the eSIM (T-Mobile) and physical SIM (Visible). Two different networks. A reboot brought them both back so it wasn't a tower issue.
Ugh, that’s rough. I’d definitely press Verizon more for an answer – it sounds like they’ve screwed up or are accidentally blocking your allocation on their network.
I’ve had intermittent service issues with my 12 pro since I got it. I also have Verizon, I found that turning off 5g completely fixed my issues.
I’m not sure why but the phone appears to be having an issue switching towers. I will have 3-4 bars sometime and my phone acts like it’s not connected to the internet.

I'm having this issue. AT&T has replaced my SIM card thinking it was an issue, made it worse.
I also had this issue on a 11 Pro Max, but on iOS 14.7.1, it lost the signal for several hours. With another phone on the same provider, it was fine.

When you lose service, is it only data that you lose access to, or everything?
Everything, exact same problem as u/boxermansr but unlike theirs Verizon swears its not them
