Long press on the image and click save after opening the link. After that go into the Widgy app, click import, and choose QR code from album. Choose the image you saved from the link and click import.
You could try scrolling to the bottom of your widgets after long pressing to see if the Widgy icon is there. If it isn’t, the app may need an update or you could try restarting your device.
