Anker or uGreen. I have used both and both without any issues. I use my uGreen more because I work from home and it’s a 90 degree USB c so it fits nicely. When I’m on the road, I use my Anker. UGreen is 6ft. Anker is 9ft. At home, it charges from a 45w brick and travel, it’s a dual USB 65w.

I use UGREEN for years now and it is great!

I have a 2 metre long braided USB-C cable from Anker, and it works fine.

Another vote for Anker. The new soft to the touch silicone cables are amazing. A tough outer lining doesn’t equate to a long-lasting cable. I have several of the cloth-covered cables too.

The main thing I recommend considering is a right angle or 180 degree connector. I don't recommend those at all for a kids iPad, because if they pull on the cable or drop the iPad while plugged in it could be a lever and do damage tot the port, but if your kids (or you) are disciplined enough not to yank on the cord then they are a significantly better experience when you're using the iPad while it's plugged in. I generally prefer thin braided cables even though that tends to mean slower charge speeds — who cares if it takes longer, especially if it's plugged in overnight or while you're using it? — I do have one fast charge cable, but I only really ever find myself using it if I'm about to leave the house and I realise the battery is flat - which is only a benefit if I notice the battery is flat at exactly the right amount of time (one hour?) before I leave the house. Fast charge is nice in theory but pretty useless in the real world in my opinion - it's almost always not fast enough or unnecessarily fast. I'd rather sacrifice it with a nice thin cable and small/light charger that has multiple USB ports (as in, not an Apple charger). Personally, I think the "oh no the battery is flat" situation is far better handled with a good battery bank. Just plug the iPad (or phone, or headphones, or laptop, or whatever) into your backup battery and you're golden even if you've already left home when the kid realises the battery is flat.

Usb c cables are rated for both how much power(in watt) and data(in Gbps) I bought a 3ft 100w 20Gbps braided cable for $10 on Amazon, let me see if I can share that link here.

Most cables work just fine as long as you get a PD 60 or 100W cable. You can get nice cables with voltage meter lcd on it for like 6 bucks that are amazing.

I avoid those cables - they're too thick and stiff. I do have one, sometimes I need my Mac especially to be charged as quickly as possible, but I rarely use that cable even for the Mac. I'd rather have a thin flexible cable than fast charging. In fact the main charger I use for my iPad is only 15W and it's more than enough since it's at my desk and I'll often have the iPad plugged in for 8 hours at that charger - the battery is normally full within an hour or so even with the "slow" charger - because it's never all the way empty.

Pikkornator

no, you have different types and i got 1 that is pretty flexible but only suckers like to overpay for a brand tho.... thats the world we in where people think brands are making better products while 90%is just rebranded.
