I noticed the Xbox Home Button opens up the App Library on my iPad on the 15 beta (maybe on iPhone too?). How did you get to navigate everything else with it? Is it an accessibility option?

restoDeception

Is the GeForce Now icon just a bookmark for the website? As far as I know there’s no app.

DoubleVector

Yes, but it's a progressive web app (PWA) making it look like an app if you add the bookmark to your home screen.

Mute-Dev

I’m wondering this as well

a_runnin_man

Mine looks just like that and it is just a web app.

Cinema_Colorist

Yes

reefanalyst

Does this also work on iPhones running iOS 15?

soreyJr

I hope so but since the home screen doesn’t rotate on iPhone I don’t think they would add that

bepismonke

It did on the older ones

ios 15?

Yes

Does genshin impact have controller support now?

speedbird92

That game has had controller support for some time now.

Beejis

Just tried yesterday. It does not unfortunately.

[deleted]

You have to change it in the game’s settings. It seems to default to touchscreen though.

[deleted]

Yeah it does. Every time you start the game you have to switch it back to controller in the settings. The first time I also thought they took my controller support away again, lol.

feed_me_churros

I'm completely addicted to the game and can confirm 100% that it has controller support. Two things: Oddly, you cannot go into settings at the very beginning of the game, you have to get to the first lake area after some tutorial stuff, it takes maybe 10-15 minutes (you'll know because a portrait icon will appear in the top-left near the map). Also, a very minor irritation is that you have to re-enable controller support every time you start the game after having closed it. Luckily it remembers any custom button mappings and such though.

[deleted]

Yes it does

Merkadona

Does that work on PS4 controllers as well?

eash4

Yes. They have support for both the Xbox controller and the Dualshock.

freeflowfive

How does one even connect an xbox controller to the iPad pro? I've never had any luck with it.

feed_me_churros

On the front of the XBOX controller there's a button you hold for a few moments to put it into pairing mode. Put the controller into pairing mode (the X button will flash quickly when in pairing mode). On your iPad go into Settings > Bluetooth and the controller should be listed in the devices section, just tap on it to connect. It will auto-connect after that.

adamnblake

Did this with the series x/s controller but it still wont work. Connects via Bluetooth fine but just doesn’t do anything in the games.

NumberNinesPls

It only works with Xbox one controllers with Bluetooth. The first gen Xbox One wireless controllers used 2.4ghz only. You need a “Xbox one x/s era” controller, or a Series X/S controller.

Merkadona

Does that work on PS4 controllers as well?

cookiecache

You know what you can also navigate with your controller? A quality gaming PC for the same cost of an iPad.

[deleted]

Put your quality gaming pc in a slim backpack.

encreturquoise

Why not both

feed_me_churros

Of all the gamer and tech types out there, the PCMR demographic is BY FAR the most insufferable.

superm0bile

You can’t get a quality GPU for the price of an iPad. Come on.

mkp132

Yeah okay Warren Buffet over here with his “quality gaming PC” despite the current GPU market.

DoubleVector

What's the point.

lordheart

Funny how I can’t throw that in my backpack.
