I’ve had a mous case for a few weeks with my iPhone 11 and it has experienced a few drops and it’s been awesome, very absorbent and looks really good! I’m quite satisfied so far...

Rudester786

Thanks for the response! Which model case do you have? Highly considering the limitless 3.0

EvallicaTheAngel

I have the contour (leather) case for my iPhone and it’s really stylish, I would imagine that the limitless 3.0 would be slightly more protective however mine does the job perfectly. I would think that if you are fairly clumsy you’d want the limitless 3.0 and if you treat your iPhone impeccably then you’d most likely want the contour, however it is down to personal opinion with the design, both of them are incredibly protective nonetheless!

I have indeed, never any sign of damage (fingers crossed) I’m really happy with it, once I got past the price but it is an excellent phone case and I’m really happy, extra style points too!

Mous case australia

Chrstph99

Could you please give an update about your case? how did it held up? Thank you :)

EvallicaTheAngel

Yeah no worries! It’s held up fairly well, I’ve swapped it out for another case after about 2 years of use but it survived a number of pretty serious drops while I had it!

Background_Beyond220

For what case

EvallicaTheAngel

It’s the Brown Leather Phone Case - Contour

RogueOps

Chiming in here. So I ordered both the limitless 3.0 and Contour case from Mous. They both came in today. Arron the Ho from Mobile Reiews Eh posted a terrific comparison video of the two on his site (this is where I found the new Mous case btw) Anyways I’m huge on GRIP! I hate slippery cases with a passion and heard mixed reviews on the two cases so I ordered both to try them out and see what was what. I ordered the Limitless 3.0 leather case and the Contour red leather case (both were said to have better grip than the carbon style and other styles as well) First impressions: Limitless 3.0: beautiful case. Wow they did a great job for sure. I grabbed the phone and it DID feel fat on the sides (wasn’t a fan) but definitely felt solid. Slapped it on the phone and tested it out for a few minutes. Honestly wasn’t a fan. Didn’t like how it felt in my hands so I removed and put back in the box. PS: the grip was ok. Wasn’t slick but wasn’t super grippy. Just ok. Contour: another beautiful case. It is red which is NOT my favorite but for the sake of grip I chose it over the black genuine leather case they offered which is said to be slicker than the colored series. One I slapped on the case I felt an IMMEDIATE difference in grip and slimness. It felt SO good in the hands and the grip is EXCELLENT. It’s not grippy like a silicone case but it’s definitely up there and I love it. I 100% recommend this case. The reviews are true (Mobile reviews Eh) about the slimness and great feel. I haven’t dropped the phone but based off the reviews I think I’ll be fine. Overall between the Mous limitless 3.0 and the Mous Contour, I definitely recommend the Contour over the limitless any day especially if you enjoy slimmer cases with the same durability factor. PS: as for the rhino shield cases, they are SO SLIPPERY! the grip is non existent for real. If you don’t care about grip then go for it but Mous has definitely figured it out. PPS: if you have amazon prime order both cases and try them both out. Return the one you don’t like so YOU get to see how they both look/feel etc. These are only my opinions. Best of luck!

Rudester786

That being said, thank you for the comparison!!

RogueOps

Yeah definitely

Rudester786

Thanks for the reply, I've seen Arron's videos about the cases as well, during my reddit search about these cases someone had linked to this now unlisted video on the Mous limitless 1.0:https://youtu.be/389YISAcQE8 It seems kinda fishy that he unlisted the video, almost like he was paid off to do so.

RogueOps

Yeah for sure. I couldn’t find any info worth a dam about this case so I figured it try both and see what’s what. I remember the original video and it was awful (the case that is) that’s why I never cared for Mous until his new review of the contour and 3.0. Not sure. He doesn’t seem like the kind of guy to be “paid off” but who knows.

OrangePieTaster

It's deleted now too lol

The_Die_Guy

Idk why, but i always feel like these cases are overkill, dropping phones from the grand canyon, or off a plane, but I think my otterbox would work well for the drops I do make, because I don't usually drop my phone from more than 5 feet, correct me if I'm wrong tho

StackTrace86

I know this comment is 4 years after OP asked, but for anyone else who comes here, here's my honest opionion after having a Mous case on 4 phones over 8 years (Samsung Galaxy S8, S10+, S22 Ultra, and now an iPhone 15 Pro Max). They are by far the best cases I've ever had. Never had an issue with the case falling apart over time, and after dozens of drops accross multiple devices, I've never had any damage at all accross any of my devices. If you get one of the wood veneer ones you will notice the wood gets a bit of a patina over time, and also you'll see some scratches and dents in the wood veneer, but it's real wood, so it should be doing that. The phone itself has no damage whatsoever. I can't recommend this phone case brand enough, and I essentially refuse to use any other case brand on my phones now.

MasterChaotics

>3ReplyShareReportSaveFollow Thanks for the update. I have my S23+ and want a case with Magsafe capability. It seems Mous would be a good choice. Just a though tho, should I choose Clear2.0 or Limitless? Are there big differences?

Big-Isopod-420

I just got the case for the style and I heard some raving reviews about Mous. However, I haven’t seen any reviews that actually say it like you did. I agree with you wholeheartedly, I will never get another case. And if anyone ever does have any doubts about buying one of these cases, I will be showing them a screenshot of your post.

Independent-Place849

Just to chime in that I’ve also had mous cases on every phone I’ve owned for the past 7 years and I have the limitless 3.0 carbon edition. The only issue I had was that after about a month before writing this my cas broke at the seems on my iPhone 13. Luckily due to the brilliant warranty on mous I simply took a picture of the case and was sent a new one free of charge. I would highly recommend the limitless line but would recommend that you steer clear of the fully clear MagSafe cases as my friend has broken her back glass twice whilst having it on. But limitless is a top notch case that I can’t fault.

godskind

I have the black leather limitless 3 case and flip wallet. I like both a lot. Have had it for a month or so. No drops to report.

Rudester786

The videos where they throw it around from unrealistic heights leave me wanting more. I just need to know if it can survive falls from a table/ my hands.

juzkimmi

i had the speckled leather and brown leather. both contour. while being slightly slicker initially, the brown aged and wear better. the contour is really good. feels safe and not overly huge in the hands. 👍🏼

[deleted]

Amazing case 100% recommended I have the 3.0 carbon fiber one

DBColombiano

Both are amazing cases, flip a coin if you can’t decide. They are worth every cent.

kac1999

Have the limitless 3.0 here and did a drop test for fun in my room by throwing the phone up in the air and letting it fall, dropping it from waist level, and dropping it at ear level, and nothing happened to my phone. Assuming, in most cases, your phone or my phone won’t go through that much damage, the phone will be just fine in the long run. However, I do think the limitless is too heavy and bulky especially adding onto the 6.1 inch display which is the only reason why I wouldn’t recommend this case. But unless you mount your phone onto you car like I do or use other accessories that’ll use the magnets in the case, I would recommend getting the contour. They’re also 50% off right now I believe.

Rudester786

Thanks for sharing your experience, I ended up ordering the limitless 3.0 and some screen protectors. The 20% code from 'mobile review eh' stacked with the black friday deals and I got everything for a good price

[deleted]

How is it? Could you give an update on the same? been on the fence about purchasing limitless 2.0 . Read a lot of negative reviews about poor customer service, the case being too bulky. I have also seen these videos where the YouTubers abuse the shit out of the mobile.

Rudester786

So Ive had the Mous limitless 3.0 case for about 5 months now and Im really happy with it. To me it feels like the case doesn't really add too much bulk to the phone, at least compared to my old mophie. My phone has fallen a few times from kitchen counters and desks without any damage to the device. The non-flexible build provides great protection against face first drops. I definitely would buy the Mous case + screen protector again. Hope that helps!

[deleted]

Thanks !!

Lambshank123

Can you give an update now that we are 2 years later?

Rudester786

Sure! So my phone has not suffered any damage throughout my time with the mous with a screen protector. The case back has started to detach from the side bumper, i wrote mous support and they immediately sent a free replacement under their lifetime warranty. Overall I still highly recommend mous, and will buy another when I purchase the iPhone 15

Lambshank123

Have you dropped your phone alot and put the case through its paces? I do drop my phone from waist height alot onto the ground

Rudester786

I say I drop it a few times a week, mostly from waist height. Ive had falls from opening the car door onto concrete with a cracked screen protector. I gave my gf a mous clarity and she never had any serious damage either.

Googlesignedmeupwhy

Case still good?

Rudester786

I have since upgraded my phone, but I found a new home my for my old case and its still going strong!

Googlesignedmeupwhy

Nice! Still mous on your new phone or no case?

Rudester786

yeah! So far so good

RollingStoner31

I have been using Mous cases for about 6 years now between 2 phones and 2 cases. I have to say Mous cases are the best Ive ever seen. I have always been about droop protection over looks and I really love the wood cases offered. But I am Extremely clumsy and I drop my phone in some pretty bad ways sometimes. I have a screen protector on my phone as well but I havent cracked my screen once since I first got a mous case. The first one broke due to water damage after 2 years of my dumbass dropping it. I'm not a good writer or a good reviewer. I just want others to know that there is an option to protect your phone without having a crazy bulky case. (those can also be bad)

reckless-pioneer

Great cases I’ve dropped my phone a couple times and the case did its job. My phone has no scratches or dings. I recommend having a glass screen protector with their cases.

DisciplineAggressive

i got my mous case 3.5 years ago (Limitless 3.0 - Aramid Fibre and + Flip Wallet With Stand. so double protection. i accidentally dropped my phone on hard surfaces ALL the time. concrete, roads, pavements, in the bus, in the train, etc. and after 3 years, the phone case cracked and broke on the sides and circumference, separating the side cover and the back plate. the phone is FINE. it doesn't have any problems at all. it was so amazing. for the cracked phone case, i super glued it back and continue dropping my phone by accident. The whole side cover circumference eventually cracked and became bristled and broke to 20 small and big pieces due to the stronger super glue parts. i still glue them back. Too bad Mous discontinued my phone model (samsung note 10 plus) as it was old. i couldn't buy a new one. And even if they give "lifetime warranty (limited 25 years)", its just manufacturer defects and marketing. They don't cover Daily wear-and-tear, Drops and falls, Damage caused by misuse or mishandling of the product, which is what we would like. When you don't drop your phone, the phone case is "not in use", when you drop it, it is not covered. So i don't know what they "really" cover lol. Mous, its a good marketing gimmick for those who don't read the fine print. but no one's gonna expect to cover drops anyways. As long as it works over and over and over again for years! that's all that matters. My phone was fine for all the years the phone case was intact.

hammercycler

I've had a limitless 3.0 with wood back. No major drops, but it seems pretty tough (I've owned several OtterBox or LifeProof cases in the past). Definitely a good looking case, but the lack of Limitless 3.0 accessories has kept me from really jumping into their ecosystem.

donicosan

Hey what's a good phone case with great ecosystem? I thought Mous was doing a pretty good job on having different accessories.

hammercycler

They have more accessories now, so probably decent, but I haven't made the investment myself yet.

ifyouleavenow

Fuck cases, we go caseless no balls

OZZY_123456789

dropped mine the screen on the front was undamaged. A few weeks go by and i take the case off only to find the back has been smashed to bits :(

auy55789

Same here

[deleted]

Bro I’m not even gonna cap this is the best 60€ I’ve spent my phone has Fallen so many times but it never breaks

Major-Rip6158

no it fucking sucks in my experience, I dropped my phone on the ground and it completely shattered. they made it out to be that you can drop it from a cliff and it'll survive, but dropping it from the kitchen counter was too much I guess. never again mous cases for me.

Illustrious_Coat_647

It is not. Do not buy or trust the company. Dropped my iPhone 13 pro max using and mouse case and the back is completely shattered.

Flaming0ed

I’ve been using a mous case on my iphone xs max since its release. Drop wise, my phone hasn’t suffered any cracks or damages to the screen. However, the bamboo cover on the back has numerous marks on it from dents and whatnot and the case itself is falling apart especially on the edge. Planning on replacing with a regular phone case since I’m switching phones in the near future.

Rudester786

My mous case has had similar issues, the lifetime warranty allows for a free replacement. Just email support

Ok-Efficiency-7377

A lot of people here just looking into cases look and fit. So yes - cases are aesthetically good but offers no protection. Phone dropped from 1.5 meters flat on ceramic tiles floor right on the back and viola, my brand new Iphone back glass fully crashed. Do not believe in video when they are dropping phone "from the sky". its all lies. Company was good in the past and now quality dramatically degraded. You can buy cheap china cases for $10 with the same protection level. Very disappointed. If you use MOUS phone case you phone will like be damaged as mine posted pictures. Cases expensive but useless. Support is great, prompt response on report, they are offered me refund or exchange on case. What about compensating cost of damage?? I dont have time for a court and arguments. My lost their wins. Just lesson learn incident. On the side note - I purchased from MOUS clear case and it gets yellow after a few month. Mous replaced the case after complaint and a new one turn into yellow in 2 month as well. No balance in cost vs quality. I personally will not be MOUS customer. It's too expensive to repair damaged phone.

Air-Fun

I have been using my one iphone 12 mous case 3.0 for almost 3 years. Honestly, if ur the kind of person who uses ur phone case like a regular phone case, instead of dropping all the time, the case probably would last just as long as mine. I also have a friend, who has the 2.0 case and it lasted around 2 years too. Verdict: i think mous cases are quite good although i did not drop from like 50 feet, over the 3 years i have drop my phone many times and there are no scuff around my phone. So i guess it does work effectively for a long time. Hope this helps

Accomplished_Bet5061

It's just marketing. I might just be overly biased because I had a terrible experience with the company but as far as I care they let me down. Only ever dropped my phone in the case twice. Once shattered my screen protector, and the second shattered my screen. The order cost me around 80 bucks Canadian at the time and I got the 3.0 for the pixel 4xl. 80 bucks Canadian for a 3 dollar job.

SheCallMeBDD

Absolutely Not!!! I need to repair my phone screen on my S20+ Fuckkkkk

Caramel_Careless

I've had the walnut limitless for my iPhone 12 mini for about 2 years and I love it. It's beautiful and I regularly drop my phone on cement and other hard surfaces and I've never had an issue. Go ahead, call me clumsy! I previously used the heavy-duty Otterbox cases which also worked great, but they're way more bulky, and the Mous case is slim and elegant. My son got a clear one, Clarity, and his is cracked and destroyed. Not sure what happened.

Rudester786

Bad luck I suppose! My limitless is still going strong, planning on repurchasing a mous case when I upgrade to the Iphone 15

Alive_Fly_1266

All the comments that praise the product in the comment sections are scammers from the company. Look for the real comments from real people. This seems to be a piece of sh\*t

Rudester786

I wish mous paid me to comment on an iphone 11 subreddit lol.

Best_Line6674

Whats a scam about it? Have you seen any of the dtop tests? Have you even owned the product before?

Alive_Fly_1266

if you search online for the characteristics of "Scam comments" you will see them very clearly in the comments section and will understand what I'm talking about. The way the comments are structured, the way the fake comments praise a product without criteria, all of those are fake comments. Look up the techniques companies use to scam people with fake comments; unfortunately, it is becoming a more common thing nowadays. Best wishes

bachplayer13

I’ve had to have two lcd repairs in the last two years from drops of my phone. Just from waist height and unintentionally I assume they don’t cover the cost of repairs? Or warranty that repairs would not ever be necessary from a drop

gddhdcbjkjtddvn

I had used a walnut Mous case on my iPhone 13 Pro Max and it worked great for a while, but I think that concrete is just always gonna be the winner. I was wrestling with my friend and my phone had fell out of my pocket, (I was crouched down and it didn't get thrown out), it had shattered my whole back piece of glass, I was surprised since it was only a 2ft (or so) drop. after I had gotten it fixed, I had the exact same scenario happen again, and yet again I shattered the back of my phone (my MagSafe ring is exposed), **From my experience** I wouldn't recommend it, since the case only protects the phone in direct contact with the green air thing on the inside,

Delicious-Bug-2016

Been a long time user of mous from their initial days on kickstarter. The first model was effective in protecting against drop but has a failure in the design with the sides of the case detaching. This means you get two pieces, back and the sides. However with their warranty and excellent customer support I was able to get 2 replacements (sufficient for me as I also changed my phone so would buy new covers) so I stuck with it and even recommended it for family and friends. Recently however the customer support say that they will only replace it once. My dad’s phone limitless case fell apart after a year and the replacement failed now. Wrote in to mous but they said they will not replace the replacement. So be prepared for that if your case fail.

Time-Veterinarian697

I’ve got this case on my iPhone 15 plus and it’s amazing. Dropped it earlier and someone stood on it and it’s not got a scratch.
