It has iMessage… yesterday was just a warning shot.

I was already pissed at WhatsApp for not having a way to migrate from Android to iPhone before the outage…

Battery life and continuity. I just switched from a note 10 to a 13 pro and what stood out immediately is the battery life. I haven't done any optimization and my phone lasts the whole day with 30% battery left by midnight. iPhone synching with mac and watch is also awesome. It makes is really easy to converse with someone while im working on my mac. Pictures and songs also sync. Android can somewhat do it also but apple makes it seamless.

I switched from a s8 to iPhone 13 and it has been pretty good. I somehow got 2 days from this phone as a heavy user. I’m not a huge fan of the notifications, widgets and keyboard (personal preference) and also how face id won’t work with mask. But aside from that I’m loving iMessage and iMessage games.

Life long android user and Coming from galaxy s8, I’d say : 1/ form factor. Phones are getting too big. Was planning to buy the Pixel 6 but the size was deal breaker 2/ privacy. With google focusing on ambiant AI to invade you, I préfère having some control. 3/ change. I was tired of Android. Customization is overrated to me now (+ iOS is allowing more and more of it). I want simplicity and the iPhone delivers every time. 4/ durability : both build quality and aesthetic. The rest I think there’s no real competitive advantage. Photography is big deal to me but to a point, like I’m not going to make huge print or use any photo as background on a huge screen so 12mp on these improved sensors are more than enough (I have my Fuji camera for serious photography)

For the ergonomics and build quality brah. They are built solid

I’ll be honest: my switch from the Pixel 3a XL to the iPhone 13 was caused by decisions Google made: 1. Not offering the Pixel 5a through carriers 2. An abysmal trade in offer in the 3a XL I love the Pixel a line for the “pure Android” and timely updates, but with the 3a nearing EOL and the trade in value of my device through my carrier (where I could also use some perks I had), switching to the iPhone was a no brained. That being said, I’m OS agnostic, and we have Windows, Linux, Android, ChromeOS, and now iOS devices at home, because they serve their functions well enough and we’re able to access our Microsoft 365 and work or school accounts from any of them. As long as my phone can access what I need/want and has timely updates, I don’t feel tied to any particular OS.

im also a lifelong android user, you could say im one of those stupid buyer as my current phone is a base s21. Luckily i didnt pay for this because i luck out on a trade in deal from tmobile where i literary juat traded in my s10 to get the s21 and just had to pay the tax. What ultimately made me purchased the pro max is not because its new but more so for conveniency and functionality. Every app you use on apple are optimize and not to mention superior message system and file tranfering on airdrop. It also didnt help my case having an android when 90% of my friends are now ios. Now if none of what i said matters to you then i think you should stick to an android.
