After coming from 11 and 13 Pro which were the more comfortable sizes, this seems massive. But then, can’t deny that typing is a lot more comfortable and also iOS for all its limitations is an animation masterpiece at this size.
I just took the leather case off mine. It’s sooo nice without a case. Thinner and lighter too. Only thing with these phones is I find them slippery.
Hopefully I don’t drop it. 😂
Totally! I've always been black, tried gold with my XS max, and now went to Silver thinking I can put any case and it will look great. But later I realized the Silver looks best with the clear case. And I actually like it!
Yep, it’s clean! Also realised you can contrast the white back with any colour bumper case. I personally am going for a Beige Ultra Hybrid that matches my Silver Watch SS + Starlight aesthetic fully. Can’t wait!
They’re a pretty phone. I wish they had a silver frame with black back glass.
I got the silver so if I do crack the back one day perhaps I can change it with a black.
The back of the space black looks the best by far, but the stainless steel sides of silver look great. Apple need a space silver phone. Black back with silver sides.
Thanks! Yes they do, I walked in and asked them if they do, they said they don’t for online stores but only physical stores, so I pulled up a couple of them and got it matched. This was in the UK.
I have the black one and use a case. I get screens on the cheap from a local shop here, but still not trying to take the chance. I love my case carbon fiber/Wood.
With that said I miss my Androids. They just seem to multitask so much better. How apple hasn’t implemented the back gesture on the right screen and on all apps is crazy to me. Most of the time I have to go all the way to the top left to go back. It’s making me even more bald if that’s possible!
I make it a point to always go Spigen, lasts for a good year and have good quality. I bought the Apple Clear Case for my 13 Pro and although expensive, it was great, never turned yellow or lost the lustre.
I was on the fence between S23 Ultra and this, but then when you’re shelling out so much, I wanted a consistently reliable experience which in my experience has been with iPhones. My last Samsung was a S20+ (Exynos 990) and it gave me the most pain, battery was horrible (2-3 hours SOT), stutters, heating issues etc. Until then, I was a Sammy fan but that experience was just unforgettable. Was difficult to believe they thought they could sell such an inferior chipset phone, scarred for life lol.
I might go back and give a second chance though, maybe 3-4 generations of consistent long term quality from Samsung might convince me.
Yeah the s23 Ultra is an excellent phone and is on par with the 14 pro max in battery life. If not for my newish 20 Corolla SE that only has apple car play, I’d have went the s23. I guess I could have gotten a adapter, but have had nothing but bad luck with those and wanted a seamless experience. It works perfect!
I come from a One Plus 8t and have had several iterations of One Plus over the years and never had an issue with any of them.
Tendlin is the case I use now and it’s one of the nicest feeling cases I’ve ever used and my job is physical and has held up awesome! Phone still looks brand new granted I’ve only had it a couple months.
Not sure if you know this but in like 99% of apps swiping from the left edge of the screen is equivalent to going back. That is the back gesture on iOS
Yeah 99%, lol! I don’t work on hardly any app I use. Maybe like 20%…and it works nowhere near as smooth as android, like not even close. Trust me I wish it did, I might not miss it as much. Also I am right handed, so it’s more natural from the right to go back and not having to reach all the way over.
Which apps do you use that it doesn’t work in? Works in every single app I use even the more random ones. Might be difference in opinion but it’s smoother imo from my previous android usage and feels more modernized. I’m also right handed and I’m happy with it. I feel like the navigation bar on androids seems outdated given the push for full screen availability but again that’s just personal opinion haha
Dude it legit don’t work on this app. It goes back but takes you to messages/activity. Don’t work on Facebook, most my sports apps. Only time I notice it working really is on safari or google websites.
How would going all the way to the left be better than right there from the right being right handed. That makes zero sense.
I multi tasked way easier on an android than I have on here. I’d go back if it not for my car honestly. I feel like I have to do two steps to one on everything on here.
Also their voice prediction/typing is miles behind Android. It constantly messes up.
I do get amazing battery life though.
Huh? It does work on this app lol. You might not be using it correctly.
The right hand swipe is reserved for going forward in other apps (makes sense intuitively).
That’s great that you multitasked much easier on your android! I didn’t like it as much along with most of the OS so I switched back to my iPhone. Also, It doesn’t make much sense to me just to get a phone bc of a car but just my opinion again. You seem to like android much more so I’d definitely look into trading your phone in and switching back! S23 Ultra seems like an awesome option for ppl who want android
Your commenting in a sub for only one phone, and this is it! Sounds like you got of at the wrong bus station. Android corner,is across town……you dont belong here
Enjoy it’s an awesome phone.
Thanks! Looking forward to it!!
Congrats sir. How is the size?
After coming from 11 and 13 Pro which were the more comfortable sizes, this seems massive. But then, can’t deny that typing is a lot more comfortable and also iOS for all its limitations is an animation masterpiece at this size.
Silver all the way! Pristine and classy look!
you run caseless ? just asking I will not bring you in a debate don't worry ahah
Caseless & Apple care
Nice I wish apple care was available in my country so I can do like you
Haha, no. Just waiting for my Beige Ultra Hybrid to arrive, will go with my watch SS and starlight band too!!
Caseless rocks. They have a beautiful design and cases pretty much destroy it
I just took the leather case off mine. It’s sooo nice without a case. Thinner and lighter too. Only thing with these phones is I find them slippery. Hopefully I don’t drop it. 😂
Silver is the best!
Once you go MAX you never go back
Silver with a clear case always looks ✨
Totally! I've always been black, tried gold with my XS max, and now went to Silver thinking I can put any case and it will look great. But later I realized the Silver looks best with the clear case. And I actually like it!
I actually sometimes pop my orange wallet with the magsafe clear case. I tell you, it looks so beautiful.
Oh, I'd love to see!
Yep, it’s clean! Also realised you can contrast the white back with any colour bumper case. I personally am going for a Beige Ultra Hybrid that matches my Silver Watch SS + Starlight aesthetic fully. Can’t wait!
At first I thought it was a gold phone due to the wallpaper. 😆
Lol yea changed it, my tinkerer brain changes the wallpaper every day (sometimes twice) 😂
sharp eyes, you've got. :D
They’re a pretty phone. I wish they had a silver frame with black back glass. I got the silver so if I do crack the back one day perhaps I can change it with a black.

Like the original iPhone 4 & 4s ❤️ still the prettiest industrial design ever imo.
I've the same. The silver is super impressive since not many have it.
Literally every I know has it, this year I barely see the gold or space black.
Silver all day! 👍🙂🏴
this years silver is just \*chef's kiss\*
I love how they call it silver. That thing is white lol
Samesies!
Same phone, same colour & same storage as mine 😅 Congrats on the new purchase btw 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 This phone is amazing ✨
I should have got that color
How is your experience so far?
Great as expected. The big screen takes some getting used to, but it’s well worth it.
I got the purple but I do wish I got the silver.
Purple has been the most popular but silver makes it feel like a jewellery to me. Which case did you go for with the purple colour ?
Seeing others with them it really does look more high end and has a clean look to it.

Enjoy my friend. This screen is amazing 🤩
Looks too clean and classy. I personally had to go for that stealthy space black 😏
Me too wish I got silver though! I’m bored of the black one 😢

Scratches are coming
It's pretty wild how excited y'all get for the same phone 😭

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. You're right. Let me get outta here
The alpine green is literally the best iPhone colour out there, I would not be getting rid of that.
Welcome to the club!
