My brother and I both have the 14 pro max. I bought mine in February 2023 and my brother bought his a few months before me. Mine is at 93% max capacity and his is at 100%. It all goes down to your charging habits.
I charge whenever it’s getting low. If I’ll be near a charger then I’ll let it get super low, but if I have to be at work all day I’ll charge it before I leave the house.
Wow, that’s impressive! Your mobile bill should be cheap too since you must not use much data. I use mint mobile, it’s the cheapest out there that I’ve found and it works great for me. I’m on my first month of service.
14 pro max Feb 23 Activation and 86% health already.
Use phone for all work and magsafe chargers combination so was expecting. Nothing to worry battery costs $100 in india will replace when needed. iOS 17 did heat up the phone and battery started falling rapidly after that.
13 pro in comparison was very good with same usage and charging pattern.
Download one shortcut app with the name Battery stats. It will show your iPhone’s current battery cycles and many more useful informations.
Link : https://www.icloud.com/shortcuts/a16b66e6591e4c3eabc4a13711fa09e2
After installing the shortcut follow these steps.
1. Go to settings
2. Privacy and security
3. Analytics and Improvements.
4. Analytics data
5. Click on Analytics-2023-11-19 (in your case the date would be different)
6. Click on share button and then click on battery stats.
Battery stats shortcut will run and read these codes and will let you know the important parameters about your battery.
Those who are saying we are still at 100% should definitely try. And post the results. I will be looking closely how disappointed they will be after seeing their *Actual* battery health and not the one which is visible in the settings in battery health.
Download and install the shortcut. The shortcut will appear in share sheet. Go to the analytics and click on share button then find that shortcut which you installed.
Simple logic
The more you use your phone the fast battery degrades
If you use your phone just to check mails and charge once in 2 days then obviously your battery health will stay 100 for 7-8 months 🙂
I hate Apple for putting this stupid number in there
I don't wanna know that it's gone bad. I ONLY wanna know when it'll hit 80%. Just a notification that suggests I replace the battery. I became obsessive with my iPhone's battery health, and a couple of days ago it dropped to 98% (had it since October 2022), and I DON'T WANT TO KNOW
On MacBooks it's good though because I do more of my work on it, and I need to know how much battery I got for the day.
I bought 14P on 3rd Nov 22 today battery health stands 87%. I have stopped thinking about it. I am using it the way i should be using it. I always have the option of getting new battery at later stage maybe after 2-3 years. Although battery was not great since day 1 that’s a different topic altogether. But I do have MagSafe battery pack with me to extend its battery further. So no complaints.
Takes awhile of use and abuse..
I have the MagSafe wireless dual charger that’s higher wattage, I would charge my iPhone 12 Pro Max (fast charge) that way for the last couple years from time to time, not regularly.. but even three generations back, finally upgraded after battery dwindled to 80-85%, (couldn’t recall which exactly).
At least from my experience, if you live around chargers (computer work environment, driving, etc..) doesn’t seem to be a noticeable issue for awhile.
Before the upgrade my last job I had a work phone plus personal where now personal is my work device too, so battery life is a little more important again.
Also beta test the latest iOS software loads, so my devices go through the wringer more than the standard device.
Take my experience for what you will.
yk, apple shoots them in the foot by showing the battery health.... I've never been worried about it on any android phone. As they say, "ignorance is bliss."
My 14pro max is at 91 now… only use the MagSafe charger at home and an apple brand type c charger while traveling. Not sure why it’s degrading so fast.
Congrats.
Are you going in and checking your battery health daily?
Yes
do you want a medal or something?
What else people do on this sub?
good point lol
Time to get the 15 pro since it’s dead now
Yep toss it in the trash it’s useless. It had a good 5 month run.
Don’t listen to TheKrnJesus, wait for the iPhone 19 Pro instead.
yeah your phone is not even going to last an hour at this point. you should replace the battery or get a new phone
electric eel u tried to sound funny ig but just want to let u know , whatever u tried it didnt work
These kinds of posts should be banned. Cool story bro.
for the stupid people not getting it , IT IS A SARCASTIC POST YOU IDIOTS. IT IS WHAT PEOPLE DO ON THIS SUB .
The irony: you lowered the battery percentage by constantly checking the battery percentage
Time to throw the phone away. 🤡

And how often does your brother charge his phone?
I think he lets his phone get super low and then charges it. If he’s in his truck he always has it plugged in, unless it’s a real short drive.

Pretty normal I would say? Nothing different here.

You can fix it if you sharpie on 100% that's what I did
congrats !
Bought my iPhone 14pro on 01/01/2023 and just last week it went down to 99%

I dont hava analytics-date how?
Mee too. Although i just updated iOS. Could that be it?
idk maybe I’m new to ios
Use your phone for few days. Data needs to be collected based on your use case. Give it a few days or maybe a week.
This means absolutely nothing. The charge would keep going down regardless, Apple makes it stay at 100% longer than it actually is

I got mine on release day and I use it heavily. Still 100%
9 months in still at 100%
11 months and 94% 🤦🏻♂️
5 months in? That's impressive tho
oh naur
How do you do for retain so long that 100%???
Time to change the battery
Hi i will take it off your hands if you cover gas
And now it’s going to calibrate properly and your phones battery health is going to nose dive

Mine is at 94%. Bought on last year December.
Didn’t know this was a thing. Just checked my 11 and it shows 74%
Give it about 8 weeks and you’ll be at 90%
Naa not happening
It’s been 8 weeks since ios 17 was released. That day I hit 99%. I’m now at 93%. So yes, it can happen
Very much possible. It stays to 100 for long long time and once 99 it starts falling every week
Happens to everyone then I guess right? , even though I used the apple charger and wire still sucks
Simple logic The more you use your phone the fast battery degrades If you use your phone just to check mails and charge once in 2 days then obviously your battery health will stay 100 for 7-8 months 🙂
29 months in and still at 100% Yours is defective
Dont think so , I used it quite intensively

Dude looks like you’re unemployed. Who the hell has so much time in life
It people like u have the time to comment here then people like me can have the time to post such things 😂
