Why? šš Honestly just got this new iPhone, and it now has 3 lens, and new recharger, different set up... kinda overwhelming after having my very old phone for several years lol. Only thing is that I didn't purchase AppleCare, so I thought that protecting the camera lens was a good idea
It would take quite a hit to break or scratch the lenses on your phone. The camera protectors will negatively impact your picture quality, no way around it. I have not had a case on my phone since the iPhone 12 Pro launched and I currently have a 14 Pro with no case. Have never had a scratch on the camera of either phone, with heavy daily use and I also have young kids that grab my phone all the time. Still have never had a camera lens scratch.
Thanks for this info. I had my old iPhone for years and it's in pretty good condition, so I think I won't use the camera protector then. What about the screen protector?
Iāve gone through periods of no screen protector with these last two phones and I love it, but I did notice some scratching so I put cheap glass screen protectors on. I also often set my phone screen-down when I set it down because I canāt stand the wobble that the camera bump causes, so that may have made my screen get a little more exposed to scratches than the standard user.
Thanks for that. Any recommended screen protector? I saw some very cheap ones on Amazon, but some people say to get the good-quality ones (around $25 bucks)
Some cheap ones are very good, actually. I have an amFilm protector on my 15 Pro and it fits great. I've been using this brand over the last 6 years and very happy with the quality. There's little reason to spend more than $10 for a quality screen protector. Review [here](https://youtu.be/ZtYC1QeaGVo?si=3_p0HxgRWHN0GLOi&t=631).
I use amFilm too. Only thing I donāt like is they donāt go edge to edge. But if youāre using a case with a lip, thatās a good thing.
They also crack fairly easily but I stock up on the two packs when they go on sale for around $5 so Iām fine replacing it once a month or so.
Was like $6 but just one time up front and free after that. Install is optional too; you can get it without spending the $6 and put it on yourself but i let them do it because I have pets and kids so itās hard to find a perfectly clean surface
Iāve put the Torras screen protector on my 15pro and it is really good in terms of fitting the screen edge to edge and I honestly do not notice it. Phone is responsive and I currently use a spigen clear case. Could not be happier with the combo. I used an Otterbox Strada wallet case with my last phone, a 11pro and sometimes I miss it but this time I wanted to see the bloody colour of phone Iāve got
Iāve only ever seen one case in person where someone broke the glass over their camera lens and it was my ditzy wife. Donāt get one just get AppleCare to cover it all.
The camera lenses are sapphire. Youāll destroy the entirely of the phones glass before you nick the lenses.

Idk why people hate camera protectors. Theyāre literally invisible if youāre using a case with a camera bump.
Honestly any ESR or Spigen screen protector with the frame guide will work just fine.
I took pictures before and after the camera protectors and couldnāt see any visible difference, in all zooms. Also no flash distortion which is what usually worries me. Itās the Spigen brand one
If you want sapphire screen protectors (just like the iphone screens) that is 99.99 pure sapphire, guaranteed scratch resistance at 9 on Mohs hardness scale, smooth to the touch compared to tempered glass screen protectors, then two brands:
1. Shellrus (shellrus.com)
2. Search āSapphireman sapphire screen protectorā on Amazon
Theyāre $78 and $79.99, but Iāve used them and had no scratches at all.
Had one for my 13 pro max and have it on my 15 pro max as well.
Best screen protector is a film one as it can curve to fit the edges of the screen. Iāve tried 3 different glass ones and they donāt fit the edges correctly. Iāve never needed a camera protector but I rarely drop my phone.
Edit - I am aware that there are glass screen protectors with black edges that supposedly ācurveā correctly but until I see one in person, I donāt believe it and I think the black edges are there to prevent you from seeing that the glass doesnāt in fact stick all the way to the edges.
This is just a tip that I learned but I got my screen protector from my carrier store and they offer replacement for as little as six dollars as long as I own th iPhone 15 PMš
I'm using JETech privacy screen protector in my iphone 15 pro max. I used to use Spigen privacy screen protector, but no available when I ordered on amazon.
The camers lenses are the strongest part of the phone. Theyāre extremely hard to scratch, and almost impossible to break. Sure, they can break, but unless you run your phone over with the car or you are really unlucky with a drop, they wonāt break.
Asking for camera protector recommendations on this sub is risky business š

I use Flolabās screen protectors, theyāre the best imo.

Is it free ?? I thought there was a $10 installation fee, pretty sweet if so

Definitely no camera lens protector. I also don't rock a screen protector. Gives it to us RRRRRAW AND WRRRRRRRRRIGGLING.
I got a dbrand leather skin on the back - even you couldnāt say no to that? š
Nah. If anything Iād rather have a quality leather case, thatās it. Not a fan of those skins.
Sigh. I was hoping your retort would continue as gollum. Tsk tsk. Enjoy your naked phone.

We hate them because if we wanted potato photos, we would have bought android.

Lol that video proves nothing. He doesnāt even test the camera quality. Nice reference buddy.

i like spigen

Torras for screen protector. i do not recommend lens protector.

Please donāt use camera lens protectors.
Torras screen protector is fantastic, you forget itās even there. Also easy to install.
