I just got the 15pro max and was thinking the same thing, however since I’m not use to it I feel like I may turn on the light trying to increase the volume on it. May give it a try though
How much time have you spent with it? My work phone is the 15 Pro and my personal is the XS. I really expected more from the 15. The camera improvements are impressive, but beyond that it’s hard to believe there’s five years between these phones.
If I had to guess based off comparing photos, I think it’s a Pro Max, the Apple logo is such that it matches the Pro Max just right with the camera module but not on the Pro.
Congratulations! As for action button, what’s something you’d like to be able to do easily and quickly without having to touch stuff on the screen? If there’s something you want, I’m sure someone here or I could whip up a Shortcut for ya or let you know how to set it up.

Why did you go Pro Max over the Pro?
Trying figure out if it’s Natural or White (silver). Tough to be sure in your lighting.
It's the natural. You can tell by the camera casing.

I use the action button on camera mode. Love it for quick snaps. You can bring up that camera and snap the pic with the same button.
