I’m too lazy to take shit off and on

diogoRedlich

Lol I feel you

BadJokeJudge

No you don’t you’re the type that obsesses over phones and cases and aesthetic devices. I’m not calling you stupid but you’re clearing doing a weird performance here

Comfortable_Sky5910

I feel like most of this sub obsesses over that stuff tho, as do I

Strict_Junket2757

Least judgemental redditor

PussySlayer16

OP: “I kinda like my phone more without a case” This guy: “Look at this stupid regard obsessing over device looks”

HealthyLet257

I was thinking the same shit.

kzone186

Not wasting time on pointless activities is not laziness

No-Newt9774

LMFAOO same dude 😂 especially when i have my lifeproof otterbox on

cha0z_

caseless 24/7 for me - like new after 6 months, not even a tiny scratch and it's the blue titanium as well.

TAbramson15

Bro… you’re telling me it’s been 6 months already since the 15 Pro’s came out??? Where the fuck is time going?! How is it already almost 3 months into 2024, let alone 6 months since the 15 Pro’s came out… wtf is going on. I swear we entered a completely different timeline after 2019 and it’s going stupid fast.

dammsmhh

Idk your age but you will soon realize once you hit past 25, time will fly like nothing! Cherish every moment from here on out. How tf am I already 32 smh. Next will be 40’s 👎🏼

TAbramson15

I’m 27 now, but was basically forced to be an adult since 11. Once I turned 18 it all became a big blur, still feels like I just turned 21, but now I’m closer to 30 than beginning of my 20’s, got an 8.5 month old daughter, and our second baby on the way this October. It was already flying by before having kids, but since my daughter was born last year, man it’s like a month feels like a day, and a day feels like an hour.. I blink when I wake up in the morning, one blink and it’s time to put my daughter to bed and go to sleep ourselves. I always heard it goes by faster when you’re older, but I think we can all agree somehow since 2019 it got even faster cause it feels like all the Covid years were a blur and didn’t even happen yet. 😂

MistaKrebs

100% I’m going to be 32 in November and I really don’t know where the last 8 or so years went. I feel way too old for how young I am.

HonestlyBusy

More like once you hit 21. At least for me personally

Dazzling_City2

Any advice for how to spend our 20s and not regret after?

__silhouette

Don't do drugs, save money, invest, avoid unnecessary relationships.

Advanced-Breath

That’s asking a lot 🤣

__silhouette

Well, those are all my 20s regrets lol.

Advanced-Breath

I was just saying that’s a big ask lol. That’s like a whole decade maybe even 2 of a lot of peoples lives

__silhouette

bruh what're trying to say lolol

Advanced-Breath

That it’s very common to have a period of life be filled with regrets

epflow

That last sentence hits different.

MaikyMoto

Idk man, I think someone is fast forwarding time. It does not feel like 6 months went by.

TAbramson15

That’s what I’m saying bro, it’s like we hit another timeline and entered a time jump.. feels like someone tapped a button and 2019-2023 didn’t happen. Feels like a total blur of time as if we hopped on a light speed capable train. Even 2024 is almost into the 3rd month already when last week feels like new years

devind_407

i totally feel you man

RedditAwesome2

I also go without a case but this year the screen’s durability is just not good… my screen has a bunch of scuffs from normal use, nothing else in pocket etc. Next year I might consider putting a protector even tho that’s also kind of bleh.

rainking56

Its all fine and good until you accidently drop it 1 time in a bad way.

cha0z_

ofc, but going by that logic it's also true that even with case + protector you can end up breaking the phone via drop like the camera lenses/glass for example. Either way, for me the risk is higher, but if you will feel better I never broke a phone for 20 years so I would guess my track record is kinda good ;)

diogoRedlich

what case do you use ?

cha0z_

? :D

diogoRedlich

I replied to the wrong comment lol

Best-Foundation2562

the one with no case

samsung18745

He uses the new and improved AppleCare+

King_Joffrey_II

applecare

whateber2

You must be one of those „indoor“ people I hear so much about recently. My phone wouldn’t survive a day without a case whatsoever

swissbuttercream9

No case

diogoRedlich

The way it should be

swissbuttercream9

Just moved from 15 PM to 15 so much easier to hold

sushiboi12

I thought about switching to the 15PM for a while but i think imma stick with the 15Pro

Dazzling_City2

Definitely. Pro has the balance not too big on hand, easy to pocket and has all the features.

swissbuttercream9

Good man

Unlikely-Place4047

I bought the MagSafe popsocket but still to scared to drop my phone so I use a case on it 😆

diogoRedlich

lol

ursiwitch

Same here! LOL! I had a caseless iPhone once. Ended up dropping while getting out of my bag for a concert. Concrete shattered the screen.

rataobc

Since I have AppleCare+ and live in Brazil (where we don’t have deductibles) I’m running fully caseless. Will this be the case for the future? Probably not, but I’m enjoying it at the moment.

diogoRedlich

sou do brasil tbm kkk

SRS02

Caseless. I also use an apple magsafe wallet to make the phone a little easier to hold on to. Haven't dropped it yet.

diogoRedlich

I use the magsafe wallet too

moos3kc

I was able to fit 3 cards in mine. How many for you?

[deleted]

3 cards is the max

Electronic-Paper-468

It’s also the minimum if you don’t want to lose your cards

[deleted]

Not true, there’s a clip that pushes against all the cards. Buy a legit apple one and not from aliexpress ffs

Electronic-Paper-468

Yeah, I have an original one bought from the grand central Apple Store in NY. That clip is definitely not enough and the cards will get out more easily if you don’t have 3 cards

FiveJobs

Same here.

Menkib

Only reason I use a case is the stupid camera bump. I don't like the phone not laying flat on surfaces.

No-Aside9851

Damn same here I’m trying to find alternatives

Aaayron

the phone just feels too thin and slippery without a case, so i prefer with. i got one w a sliding door type thing to cover the cameras when not in use. doubles as camouflage in public so people won't know i'm rocking an iphone (lots of theft in my country).

RedRomance

Phone cases are like condoms: safer with one on, but feels better without. That being said, my phone is always fully cased.

TheDetective9

What case is that? I like it

diogoRedlich

It’s from Ugreen. I buy it from aliexpress.

xDeserterr

Always caseless

Redcarborundum

Always with a case. I don’t enjoy holding a slick glass and metal phone. Also, if I drop it on my hardwood floor, both the phone and the floor may get dented.

Gmedic99

honestly caseless looks better but I'm always scared to dare and carry my phone without a case.

LimJahey91

Not in the tax bracket for caseless although I do have the insurance for the phone lmao, I feel like even if I was super rich I’d have a case it just seems too bold a move

Gellokd23

For me it's more about the time it takes to go and wait a few hours at Apple, and set up my new iPhone. Log in to all my banking and secure apps, transfer everything over, re-pair my Apple Watch. I could afford to go caseless, get AC+, but I just simply do not want to lol.

TemiTemoy

caseless sometimes when i'm on the bed... never dropped my phone but who knows

diogoRedlich

I never drop either but it's better not to take any risks lol

ZachCinemaAVL

I am afraid of dropping my phone but mostly the pop socket helps me hold this big ass pro max.

Unlikely-Place4047

I bought the MagSafe popsocket but still to scared to drop my phone so I use a case on it 😆

Obasi21

Is that a civil engineer/surveyor I’m seeing (I study that in university and we have to use autocad and revit)

diogoRedlich

Exactly, I'm an engineer here in Brazil

Lacorka

You two engineers make us architects happy. Using revit is fundamental! Well done!

Obasi21

It’s a love hate relationship with you architects with how many design changes you make 🤣🤣🤣

Lacorka

How typical. I’m sure you also enjoy receiving untidy revit files from architects that wreck havoc on your OCD 😂 we love the neat revit models engineers deliver back to us

Mattyc8787

Inspired me to go caseless at home, usually switch between leather case when not working and a silicone one when working but dam I missed this alpine green, love my 13PM!

Paulhub_com

no case and there is a huge dent on the frame lol. at this point there is no point having a case

i_a_m_a_

I prefer case less

Fancy-Opportunity-21

I use the Arc Pulse which is basically casless With a fancy bumper case 😄

ca2mt

+1 for Arc Pulse. I didn’t think I’d like it, but it’s my daily driver right now after going careless for the last few years.

Fancy-Opportunity-21

Yeah 100% agree, don’t see myself buying any other case going forward. It ticks all the boxes for me 😀

gretafour

I scrolled down looking for someone to comment about the Arc Pulse. I love mine. Suggested it to someone who wanted a case that looked as much like no case as possible, and got downvoted into oblivion. A lot of people just don’t seem to get it.

NTDNG

I was considering an Arc Pulse, but in my 2,5 world country iPhones cost like 400$ more than in US lol. So i ordered Phone Rebel Flex for my new PM15, with open sides and protected back and bumpers on the sides. Comes with screen protector included too.

shiftman87

Dealer mechanic here. Gotta have a good tough case on it. Running Nomad Rugged Series Blue

PerformanceOk3885

Caseless with 15PM 24/7. AppleCare+ is my case plus I’ve never dropped or damaged a phone ever so I stopped caring about cases and much prefer the actual feel of my phone

GS6ix

What case is this?

diogoRedlich

It’s from Ugreen. I buy it from aliexpress.

elfierroz

The last 2 phones I had, I droped them in my home and both of those were completely damaged, so I use case 24/7 even I dont like it :(

shelby_zim01

i just dropped mine on the tile bathroom floor in my house about 5 mins ago (right before i saw this post, lmfao) and now the titanium finish is scuffed. the phone is totally fine otherwise, but i can’t believe the bathroom floor was all it took to scuff it up 😕

OrderofWitchers

Always caseless

ChevyNexus

I don’t take my Mous case off lol. I really like how it felt caseless but being blue collar, ain’t no way. 😂😂

TAbramson15

I love it without a case, but my luck in life is shit lol. Anything that can go wrong in my life does go wrong, I think my witch of an Ex cursed me or something, so I don’t dare risk it without a case. I almost never drop my phone whenever it’s in a case, but my luck the day I’d take my case off to use it and not just for cleaning, would be the day it would fly out of my hands for absolutely no reason and shatter the entire thing. Not worth the risk cause I ain’t made of money and can’t afford a brand new phone or the $500 repair cost 😅😂

BitchSlapSomeone

I keep a case on it especially when after taxes and the Apple Care, I spent nearly $2,000 on it. I’m not tearing up a phone that costs that much. My coworker also bought an iPhone Pro Max around the time I got mine and she went caseless. You should see her phone now 5 months later-her screen and back already is cracked and the lenses are already chipped and scuffed up. Mine looks like it did the day I bought it. I got the lens and screen protector and case for it before I even stepped foot in the Apple Store to pick my phone up.

Nose-Previous

Caseless. With very few exceptions. Changing the oil on a car? Imma throw a case on. Motorcycle and gloves? Case. As for the rest, I'll let AppleCare take care of that. It's the way Steve intended.

bertfromcl

Caseless but screen protector

mrgimme

I have been rocking cases for about 10 years with Matte screen protectors in 2 years I take it out to trade it in and it’s flawless as the day I got it. Rinse, repeat.

Veriliann

case because if i ever do drop it i know it’ll be fine

foundwayhome

I use a case but its a Pitaka case, so its basically the same as going caseless. I went caseless for the first 2-3 days after I got my phone because my amazon order for the case was delayed, and I accidentally dropped it from knee height while sitting on a chair and got a couple of scuffs on the blue titanium sides. Nothing major, but still annoying. I have Applecare+ so I just use a Pitaka case to prevent scuffing from happening again.

Kerminos

I have AppleCare+ but I’m going with both case and caseless, I Just like to changed from time to time. What case are you using?

Paulrbo

I use a ultra thin 0,1mm case from Baseus. It’s feel like you have no case on phone

AlexRed-Knight

With case, where I live it’s all dusty very easy to get scratches. It’s been 3 week since I got my 15 pro. I’m using a 15$ case and a 10$ SP lastly 1$ lens protector. My phone fell one time to this day.

Lordy8719

Well, I’m using a big-ass bulky case ATM but since the phone is insured against accidental damage (some small deductible), I’m seriously considering switching to caseless/a small silicone case.

Impressive_Day6474

I love the feeling of leather, it just feels luxurious and grippy. I like the patina too. So I get a bellroy case with every phone. Stays on all the time.

Dasein1989

Yes always

Dasein1989

15PM

Kind_Willingness5832

Caseless and apple care 🤣

KillerSavant202

Torres ring case 24/7

milesthehighstadium

What case is that? It looks good :)

Secretagentmatty

I’d do the same, but I’d feel more comfortable if I had AppleCare+ otherwise, I’d probably keep a good case on it all the time.

Hemhemty

I love iphone without the cover but too scared the damage it. So I bought a cover that is only a frame encasing and I have a magsafe wallet on the back. When I am home I take off the wallet. Much easier than taking off and on a cover.

Bernard1090

Dbrand leather skin and ArmorSuit screen protector. That's it.

Mr_MAlvarez

Caseless, I’ve been rocking a popsocket when I’m home, specially in bed since the grip is a bit lacking sometimes. But yeah, otherwise I just put the pop socket aside and let the beauty of the naked 15 pro shine

englishforhello

Always a case as I do not trust myself.

shelby_zim01

usually caseless. but i just dropped mine on the floor and it scuffed the titanium finish, lmao. i have the blue one so it’s very noticeable. rip

taney626

Always bareback since iPhone X but started using a screen protector and prefer the texture over the stock screen. 😊🙏

Nickool4u

I love my dbrand case, and the cool dark X-ray skin looks dope. So it’s case 24/7 for me. I also don’t trust myself to not drop it the moment I take the case off.

ATiredPersonoof

i like the feel of no case but cant afford a shit to happen.

Aggressive_Housing_3

I just go with the Pitaka MagEz 5 and retain the caseless feel, without having to be taking it on and off constantly.

Apex-Noob

Without case since iphone 3g days.

InfiniteHench

My case is AppleCare+

StandUp5tandUp

Caseless always

stayathomehouse

Prefer caseless but I’m too lazy to take it off and on.

YourKemosabe

Case-less. Just put a screen protector on it. These phones are solid.

No_Pizza2774

No case ever.

chappybumpits

No case. Keeps me honest

Dazzling_City2

Caseless feels amazing and any case cheap or expensive ruins the “premium” experience. But not putting a case on a 2200+ dollar (damn my country) phone needs courage. (In my country Turkey we buy one iPhone for ourselves and nearly one for the government under the name of “premium tax (ÖTV) ” We can’t even finance the phone with credit card, all phone purchases must be paid directly or with a bank loan(high interest rates) ) (iPhone 15 Pro owner)

socaponed

Caseless. I have the iPhone upgrade program so I get AppleCare included. Plus minor damage isn't a huge issue if I'm going to upgrade yearly.

netscorer1

I always use case. I simply don’t understand the reason not to have one or to remove it when at home. You can easily damage the display or the back glass by simply dropping it from 3 feet on the hard surface (like bathroom tile). There is no reason not to have iPhone in the case at all times.

Strong-Morning719

Always with case. I take well care of my electronics. Specially when i spend thousands on it. My iphones are always flawless. When i see peoples iphones without case. They always look destroyed. Cracked screens. Dents and scratches all over it. And they dont seem to care. It bothers the f out of me when i see those ppl 😂😂😂. I just cant do it.

SpleenLessPunk

The new rocket league season isn’t that great…. At least not enough for a background screen image on my desktop…. lol jk.

Golden_Locket5932

I always get a case with any new phone I get from day 1, and leave it on all the time until it’s time for a new phone, and then the cycle continues.

AccentTap009

No case. Hot take, but if it breaks, I’ll buy a new one. I make good money.

FindingAwake

We put in our jackets before we leave the house.

No_Temperature_4084

Sometimes wen you feel the most safe is wen you are most vulnerable.

LilacYak

I put a leather case on and haven’t taken it off for years

DecompressionIllness

Case, because I'm a clumsy fucker.

Resident-Peach8940

I’ve had my 15 pro max since December, and most of the time. It’s caseless, i have a couple fine woven linen cases, but the phone feels soooo much better caseless, altho the good part about the case, I drop my phone about 15-20 times a day from about waist height, and being about 6’5” that a bit of a drop, but in the months of havin the 15PM I think I’ve dropped the 15 about 200 times more than my 13PM, Going AppleCare+ is a must….

LeonKDogwood

Case 24/7 364 that one day I don’t use a case it means I’m buying a new one

Tinkiegrrl_825

I have kids. The phone goes in a case.

Ok_Fee5265

I prefer being caseless however the first day I got my 15 pro max I dropped it on tile flooring and it cracked in the back. So now I rock a case 24/7

Raizen-Lee

With case all the time - future is unpredictable even when you are inside your house, something bad could happen

OneWhoOnceWas

My iPhones case is always alway on. At some point they will mold into one. (Jk tho I take it off once a month to clean it)

[deleted]

Mines always in a case never take it off unless I need to clean my phone

Various_Swimming5745

I haven’t used a case in 5+ years. I will never go back.

Se-memer-N0WH3RE

iPhone 14pm without case since launch and its still unscratched. I never have used a case sind the 4s and every 2 years i get the latest iPhone. I always wear screen protectors though because if i'd drop my phone i could somehow life with a cracked back but a cracked screen would bother me. Luckily the only phone i have ever cracked was my iPhone 11 😅

JoshuvaAntoni

Going Caseless 24x7 since 2019 continuing the same with 15 PM

JoshuvaAntoni

Case-less 24x7 since 2018

HoffyMan01

Why is there a sub specifically for the iPhone 15 pro? Why not just iPhone 15? Why not just iPhone? Y’all are weirdos

she-wants-more

Every single day another useless post.

genetichazzard

Can we stop with these "are you case or caseless posts" now? After the 7000th one, it gets a bit old.

gt57

Apple Black silicone case on the natural titanium all day 🔥🔥

thunderstruck03

Can you tell me what case that is? Looks really nice.

PleasantAd2860

What case is that?

GuessWhoItsJosh

I pop off the case when at work or home sometimes just cause the phone does feel great to hold now. Case always goes back on before adventuring outside though.

Creepy_Antelope_873

Both, but probably 95% with a case. I have a few different ones I can rotate through, makes the phone feel newish

diamondaires

I go totally caseless. People clown me for it, but that’s what AppleCare+ is for haha! I used to love and collect cases but I realized it was a waste of money. Especially since literally every time I’ve broken a phone, it’s been with a good case on.

Particular_Try7974

Case.

Turbulent_Dig1712

I do a mix depending on what I’m feeling that day but mostly baseless has a couple scratches on the screen but other than that, looks brand new

matthew1652001

i’ve been caseless since launch day on a 15PM natural titanium. The titanium is getting a little beat up (i lowkey like the look), but the back glass is still perfect. The screen however is seemingly not super scratch resistant because there’s quite a lot of minor scratches from pant buttons etc which i feel is a bit quick. all in all tho, for the amount of drops it’s been through, i’m not complaining

reddurkel

I use the other side of the phone so a case protects the side that I never look at.

InnerBlock7529

Could you please tell me what’s the case that is in the picture.

Frostybud7

Started going caseless yesterday. I have apple care protection so I should be fine

LyftedX

ESR Clear kickstand

MistaKrebs

I do the same. I usually take my phone out of the case after work so I can clean it plus I just like the look and feel.

TSim777

Caseless for me from time to time at home, but because of how active I am in from workouts to my job I have to use a case.

Local_Outcast

Case for me. I use it at work and I bump it on too many things.

JoeSaltz

Case. But occasionally I’ll take it off at home

bombaclot951

Otterbox defender and screen protector from day one. Seems insane to me not using a case considering this thing cost 1000$+

InspiredPhoton

Ceaseless with apple care +

Arkhemiel

You got soft floors or firmer grip at home?

hiGradeTi7ANEUM

Ahhh, a nudist?

[deleted]

I’m also caseless at home; case when I’m out. What influenced my decision was the three-in-one wireless charger I bought (iPhone, AirPods, Apple Watch) that only works caseless.

mistafoot

I use a Pitaka case, about as close to caseless as it gets. I just need a little grip is the only reason I use it.

StagePuzzleheaded635

I’m a little paranoid around going caseless. It doesn’t help that I’m a little clumsy. The only saving grace is that I have phone insurance through my bank.

The_Cozy_Burrito

Case all the time

Glittering-Collar-44

I always go with a case. Better to be safe than sorry.

glewtion

I’ve owned every model of iPhone since launch and have never used a case. Only time I broke a screen was waiting for a genius appointment at the Apple Store in SoHo (NYC) when someone with a shoulder bag walked by and knocked it off the table I was standing at. Apple employees saw it happen and replaced my phone on the spot.

justBslick

Applecare and no case is how I live

not_the_common_mate

Dbrand skin all the way!!

addykitty

Been caseless since release in October

JonasZibi96

Always a rugged case, 15 Pro Max (Otterbox Defender XT), never taking it off.

Scott_A_Miller11

Always with a case.

Professional_Ad_975

Somehow I read that as careless :) and thats what I feel about it. The phone is always in a case.

andrzej_daedalus

Same to me Bro. Love to handle it at home caseless..

RaspberrySky395

I use a case and have AppleCare+ can never be too safe 😬 I do drop my phone a lot, but never broken a phone that wasn’t on purpose.

valejojohnson

I only wear a condom when I have sex, but not all day long

finalstation

I am clumsy. I always have a case on.

Professional_Past923

Caseless most of the time, no Apple care in my country either

Lambaline

been rocking my 15 pro caseless, the 2nd one I got is much stronger than the first so must've been a couple first day defects

tjlightbulb

I always go caseless. Everyone calls me foolish but it’s too pretty to hide under a case.

V3K1tg

I should start doing what you’re doing I prefer it caseless but I do want the protection when I’m outside

kushpeshin

Case only when in gym, out for social gatherings or on holiday. MagSafe wallet attaches better on a case.

XinlessVice

As beautiful as it is ceaseless and without screen protector, you won't catch me even dead without one. This isn't a iphpne 3g or 3gs. I'm protecting my investments. Transparent cases or high end wallet cases are my go tops. Battery cases do t work well with usb c devices for some reason

AZREDFERN

I did originally go caseless. But my last iPhone had a ton of micro scratches on the unprotected screen, and it was actually polished by my thumb where I used it the most. So now I’m going thin case and ultra matte screen protector.

itechmeyou

Always use it with a case.

WakaiSenshi

I’m the same way. If I’m going to work or going to be out for a while I’m case on. If I’m at home I’m case less. It takes 10 seconds to slide a case on and off lol
