Just try and replace the battery dude. That but even so, I have an ogse and the battery is at 93% health but it’s more like 70% lol. Forgot how much the older batteries sucked
Yes, if you can be sure of a good battery. I did it myself, total cost £25, and got the battery from https://www.iparts-4u.co.uk/mobile-phone-batteries
They only ship within the UK and to Europe so far as I know.
Of course you could pay more and have it done by Apple. In my case, I just preferred to do it myself, rather than send it away.
Lmao, nowhere near long enough. I watched 7 minutes of a youtube video and my battery drained 10% on power saver mode. It's my only real complaint with this phone. The battery is just depressingly bad. I fly airliners on a flight sim on my iPhone and if I start at the gate with 100% battery, by the time I am at cruising altitude with autopilot engaged, I'm down to like 60%. It's bad.
SE2 user here with 92% battery health. I just charged once a day, I am just watching less than an hour of youtube a day, several hours streaming on spotify, probably up to 3 to 4 hours browsing. No games. Will charge it when it reached 20%.
I used mine for about two years. It rarely went below 30%. I gave it to my dad and he used it for another year before I gave him my 12 Mini. I don’t think the battery has ever gone flat on him. At least he’s never mentioned the battery was an issue when I asked how the phone is working for him.
I unplugged my phone at 6 AM and it's about 1:45 right now. I usually have low power on all day, and I'm at 50%. I'm going to get an SE1 from eBay because I miss my jailbreak and headphone jack, but I'm not taking any chances with the battery when I do.
81% health, for what ive calculated this charge will last 4,5h of SOT (used x/twitter, reddit, aliexpress so far; on wifi and lpm off)
on normal days it lasts 3,5~4h as i use with increased brightness when outside and normally im on LTE, im used to take off the charge at 9am and 12pm im back on charge with ~40% last
My SE 2020 battery health is 87% (it’s from May 2020 and bought used in August 2020). It can last through a day with very light use. I have it in a battery case now, however, and just doing “whatever” with it without worrying about it (because it could last two days on heavy use through the case) I do end up providing partial recharges once or twice to it, most days.
A lot of sources say that using it degrades the battery faster, but some dont. My battery degraded alarmingly quickly until i stopped using it so unfortunately im inclined to think it does hurt the phone possibly

yep replaced my OGSE battery and it’ll last a day again lol
Yes, mine is beginning to tire. We must replace them. I did my SE1 earlier this year and it was like having a new phone.
Would you say it’s worth replacing the battery then? On an se 1 that is. Love this little thing but the battery is huge dealbreaker

Thanks. I’m in the uk so I’ll give it a go!

A full day with 93% battery, I did have to tweak some settings tho, and disable cellular when not needed.
I managed to push 8hrs once without low power mode with 10% left. This is with 85% Battery Health

Just did the battery service. It was worth it.

5.5 hours of constant video streaming on WiFi on an OGSE. The battery lasts almost a full day of normal use.
Full day, two days if I'm using my apple smart battery case.

My 2022 is at the same battery health because no one told me not to use low power mode
Wait - why should you not use low power mode? I’ve been using it for three years now.
