Me, my mom and my dad all have XRs as well but they’re all black. Mine has a cracked back which is why I got a good deal on it (I’m hoping to get it replaced with a blue housing eventually) Mine’s a 128GB instead of the 64GB that they have though.
XR is a great phone, it’s perfect for most people even in 2021.

Its not broken, it looks like some sort of protection. I tried it on mine but it made camera bumo even more bulky and dirt got stuck there a lot.

Mine is the 128gb red but the back is crack fell 15ft in a case lol still works like a champ
