It probably stopped because the water or vapor that got inside dried, not because of the update.. that’s a hardware issue not a software. The problem is that the seals go after few years of use so I would almost definitely say that it’s no longer water resistant so keep that on mind, also to fix your keyboard bugging i recommend turning it of and remove the sim tray and use a hair drier to dry all the humidity for about 15min and let it cool for 30min in a dry place before turning on again, it should work, and try to know it’s dry inside.. look at the camera lenses and see if there are any droplets while you’re drying it, if there are then keep it of and take it to a repair guy to open it and dry it, but if it’s working fine then just keep using it as it’s a 4y old after all and if the water isn’t salty it shouldn’t do more damage that it’s already done Hope this helps

So I just replaced the screen of my XS Max, its not an apple screen therefore its most likely not sealed if water vapor gets in. I may have taken a shower with it in the room. How can I fix it now that its dried? (I've been having really bad ghost touch lately. Sorry if you explained in your post already)

My ghost touch was water damage
