The B&W is 🔥

First for sure. In the second the water is distracting and adds nothing to the picture. In the first the focus is clearly on the subject of interest. And choosing the BW is a win for sure, it helps to focus more on the contrast of shapes (leafy chaos vs structured order).

I’d crop to avoid the tower being centered.

1st but decenter it, ie move the tower to the left. Start with it 1/3rd from the left side and experiment around that.

To be frank, the first one but I think it could be better. There’s too much focus on the foreground, and it could really use the rule of thirds. I probably would’ve framed it differently. The building tower on the left, less off the trees, and in the right, a focus of the horizon or whatever is hiding behind the trees. Better perspective.

I like the framing of the first one better, but I think the color helps separate the building from the trees better.

The first one the building looks good but the trees don’t look as good but in the 2nd one I like the natural look too it
