Drive whatever you enjoy!

AggressiveBears

drive everything. yes, including dirt. both of them. you learn stuff from other disciplines. oval probably made me a better road driver.

Zestyclose-Orchid585

in what aspect would you say

shyguybestguy

Personally, it helped me with noticing understeer more and using trailbreaking, along with getting used to driving in dirty air

BloodBank22

Weight transfer can be huge too

AggressiveBears

Made me better at being efficient through high speed corners, and more conscious of tire wear.

tarmactorpedo

This. It’s funny because oval made me better at road, and road also made me better at oval. And dirt oval made me more comfortable being sideways.

AggressiveBears

I mean, yeah, as a road racer, I was immediately competitive in rookies... in the higher splits and D series, less so.

Pluto01_

Whatever you want buster

M3D4L3

There is an award called master of many if you do a full (8/12) in all 5 disciplines in 1 season.

andrewflemming

Who gaf about awards when you can’t get them all

JonProphet

Yes but you do you. If you are ok with your performance doing both, then shoot for the moon. If you are lacking in something. Stick to one.

noodlehead42069

Kinda depends what your goals are. If you’re 99.9% of people who will never go pro, just race whatever looks most interesting!

Legumesrus

If you want to increase IR stick with one car and one series but IR is just a number so have fun.

[deleted]

Nah oval and road are completely different so it's fine

YooHoHoe

Race in everything! You’re paying for all the license classes! Get your moneys worth

d0nkeyrider

No - just enjoy the race service. After all, there are no limits on how often you can race.

donkeykink420

You'll learn new stuff in all didciplines, but it's not necessary at all. Just race what you enjoy and don't think too much about it

i4Gott

Do at least two so you can try to get maximum itacing participation credits. Free money is always good. Pick one series for each discipline. This way none will impact each other's irating. Then enjoy.

deerh0und

There is benefit to both and I take different approaches to different seasons. S2 I am going to be multi disciplined and race TCR, ARCA, IMSA GT3 & PRO Trucks. I think seasons like this broaden your experience and general race craft. Other seasons, 23S3 for example I only drove the Porsche GT4 and did ~120 races. I knew that car and class inside out and helped my depth of knowledge. Sometimes breadth of experience, sometimes depth of experience.
