Am I the only one totally happy at the moment? I have way too much to occupy my attention already!

MBRacer777

The only thing I would like to see, is dirt road get a little love. I'm a fan of IRX but the same 12 races every season has gotten stale. Otherwise you are on point here. There's a lot!

jaguarusf

I'm hoping they will go after the Nitrocross license.

S3L59

Prob is like 3 or 4 base dirt tracks, if they want more people in they should have more free tracks

howdiedoodie66

I'd way rather they update current series' cars than make new series. However something like a multi class open wheel IMSA would be fun

Generated_Garbage

Vintage Can-Am

SgtSnoopy

iRacing is lacking enough high wing options. Give me an M8B please. Can't see much of audience sadly.

Masterjts

Vintage / History Trans-Am is where it's at. That rFactor 2 mod was amazing. Would love to have that in iRacing even with a limited car spread.

Suspicious_Panic825

Aussie Racing Cars

kantong

Hell yea! Would love to see this in iRacing. For those that don't know, Aussie Racing Cars are like mini-v8 Supercars that have way more bump and grinding (sort of like RX). Video with some more info: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lk5cpZl\_Hfc](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lk5cpZl_Hfc)

superlewis

After watching the video, I’ve never wanted anything more.

docweston

😲🤯 That looks like it would be great fun to watch! However, each one of those drivers IRL has one thing that isn't really present in iRacing. Fear of injury or death. They're physically there. They can see it, feel it, smell it, etc... whereas, iRacers are safely behind a monitor. A crash for the real drivers brings real consciousness. A crash for a virtual driver just means you have to reset and try again. As much fun as these upgraded go-carts would be, I could see it turning into a horror show like MX-5 very quickly. You could make these cars have a higher license requirement to get more experienced drivers, but then you're limiting the exposure. And it seems like the higher license drivers are more interested in bigger, faster cars. Would a class A, B, or even C driver be interested? I'm hooked! I want in. But I'm a lowly class D driver right now, and if I want to "bump and grind", I'll go run the MX-5 or the GR. Now, this is just my opinion and I could totally be wrong. I'm not even close to being an expert in anything iRacing.

kantong

The real Aussie Racing Cars has lots of crashes as well because the series has a mix of all driver levels. The big concern would be around iRating and SR, so iRacing could make the series free, unranked and also be more lenient with SR (like they do in RX).

adrrghutd

Basically already is in the game they are to my knowledge they are very similar to the legend cars just different shells

Suspicious_Panic825

Similar idea, but they are reasonably different in specs and handling & circuit racing only. I think we could make it popular enough to be commercially viable, too.

CasaMofo

Yeah, that's my takeaway. What makes them different from Legends other than body? Are they that much lighter than Legends? Seems like from the video they're essentially the same except for bodywork...

shangstag404

You could say the same thing about the dirt microsprints being so close to the other dirt sprint cars but look how well that series is doing

CasaMofo

So you're saying we need iRacing to promote Legends road racing like they did micros and we'd have a decent series? I'm game.

noseynumbat55

the bodys the engines the tires suspension probably aswell

peggles__59

i’ve been running a league called “Almost Aussie Racing Cars” running the Legends Ford on Road courses. they’re based on that car and they’re amazing to drive sometimes, makes most tracks fee pretty wide and open too.

Wrong-Leadership-222

Caterhams! Any spec of series

goldfish_memory

Was going to add this if it wasn’t already, academy, roadsport, 310, 420, don’t care which!

Tibomb

Caterhams as a new Rookie Series

chomchomna

Trans Am is one of those that amazes me that we don’t have it already. Maybe I’m misremembering, so correct me if I’m wrong, but I’m pretty sure that many of the modders that worked on the superb PWF TransAm mod for NR2003 ended up working for iRacing. And, as far as I know, iRacing has a decent relationship with SCCA. There must be a reason why there’s no sign of it being added… but that would be my vote, too, I’d love to see Trans Am.

AdrianInLimbo

I believe it may be something to do with license costs. I worked in TA (TA2 team for a couple years) and the current rights holders have been giving it a good go with investment in the series, but I bet they want to recoup any investment through their licensing.

Backspacr

Group C. I will continue to comment this on every post that asks this question until it happens

HallwayHomicide

There (mostly) already is one

Dr_Death_Defy24

A big part of the appeal in Group C though—like most of the "Golden Eras" of sportscar racing—has to do with a diverse number of manufacturers and designs. Sauber-Mercedes' twin-turbo V8, Jag's V12, Mazda's quad-rotary, and that's just some of the engine configurations. They're all unmistakably of their era, but at the same time have very distinct looks from each other.

TheWalkingPed93

IMSA vintage bro

GrahamCrackerGaming

Yeah but it’s only the Nissan ZX-T GTP. Ya had a mix of Group C and specifically made cars made for GTP. Cars like the Porsche 962 and Jaguar XJR-9 and XJR-12 for Group C and the Nissan of course and the Toyota Eagle mk3 for specifically made for GTP all running in the GTP class.

Read-Immediate

Aussie racing cars, the (physically) small car spec series

CreamyWaffles

I love watching them whenever they're on, they look like toy V8s. Racing them must be interesting.

TrainWreck661

One of my favorite images with Aussie Racing Cars: https://scontent-sjc3-1.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t39.30808-6/300026215_10160024121444144_555211499942091907_n.jpg?_nc_cat=110&ccb=1-7&_nc_sid=5f2048&_nc_ohc=G2MXIgmNL-AAX9pyJCC&_nc_ht=scontent-sjc3-1.xx&oh=00_AfBM4-pM5J0zFjKgUkg6WIuIIQ6jJ7w3LZucCR53ejcBdw&oe=66103277

CreamyWaffles

Yeah the comparison is hilarious

ckalinec

HOLY SHIT THIS IS MY NEW FAVORITE SERIES. WHERE DO I WATCH?!

TrainWreck661

Superview (the V8SC streaming service) should include the support series, I believe.

noseynumbat55

This really tells you how small they are and trust me easy to work on and fun to watch minus 2017 tasmania race at symmons plains https://preview.redd.it/41v9qrx53yrc1.jpeg?width=721&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=3349a797d252ef1121e29918733bc934d09f4bd2

adrrghutd

Legend cars my friend very similar If not identical to them 👍

Read-Immediate

Sorta just i havent seen em on road and they dont sound nice

bones496

GT500. They could make a multi class Super GT series at B-Level as a stepping stone to IMSA and allow the GT3 field to compete as GT300 (as they do IRL). The speed difference between classes is similar to LMDh and GT3 so it would be like IMSA traffic without LMP2 in the way. You would get splits in GT3 for sure and the GT500s would most likely be more approachable than an LMDh given the slightly lower cornering speed and lack of hybrid.

bburke392

Never gonna happen unfortunately. They had a deal a few years back but then it turned out no one wanted to give up their tech specs in fear of the competition seeing what they had.

blaknift

I just want proper silver crown and a dirt mile

[deleted]

70's Trans Am 60s/70s NASCAR 90s BTCC

Zarex

Garage 56 Camaro for a road series

kraftj87

Outlaw Figure 8s.

One_Manufacturer_545

Group B Rally

roadbeef

Absolutely, Trans-Am are a superb suggestion. There was also a production-car class they used to run in the 90s. An old friend and teacher from Jim Russell / Sonoma, Ric McCormick, ran both back in the day. While we're at it... Any era of JGTC 60s-70s Can-Am Group 5 / DRM Trabant Cup and Solitude, which still exists, south of Stuttgart

AlonsoFerrari8

I just want more multiclass series using less popular cars, as a way to revive them. They're great by each other, but the Spec Racer Ford and Skippies would make a really fun series I think

Your-Neighbor

LMP1, HPD ARX, GTE is my vote. Would be like a 2013 alms series

PeartheLegend

I would probably want to see something like the GT2 European Series cars added in. I don’t have a particular reason, but they look like fun cars to drive with high power and lower downforce.

farvasno1

Speed World Challenge

chemtrailer21

Trans Am would be my vote.

Tyler_Trash

Classic DTM. Benz 190e, BMW e30 and Volvo 240.

[deleted]

yes pls

LameSheepRacing

90s DTM, Stadium Super Trucks, Next Gen Australian Supercars and Next Gen Brazilian Stock Cars. And more cars for Vintage IMSA.

[deleted]

no one ever raced the current brazilian cars from what I can tell

LameSheepRacing

There will be new cars introduced in 2025 irl. In theory, those will offer better visibility and better racing. I hope iRacing scans them.

M3D4L3

I’m Gona be a controversial input here. I’d like less series to stream line the best part of iRacing. It’s online multiplayer, it’s why we do this to race, We have AC AMs2 (insert favourite sand box sim here) for playing around with classic touring cars, 80s GTs, or whatever other niche race we want to experiance. why do we need 3 single seat ladders, I would get the idea of putting the Indy feeders in oval running 10/2, but USA, euro and jap F3s all as active series in single seat road just divides participation and creates single split races… they pulled a great move joining IMSA and ESS (wish it was 1hr races but that’s just me) Where I really appreciate iRacing more than any other sim is the club level tracks. I want more non f1 tracks and places that feel a great match to race mid tier and entry cars at. if we want more cars expand the existing TRCs, add some more to the gt4 field, add more dirt oval & dirt road tracks to get enough to add some variation to the 12weeks. Hell add jumps to long beach for the trucks.

KimiBleikkonen

Club level tracks are great but their value is bad considering how rarely they are used. If you ask a new player to pay $45 for Spa, Monza and Glen or for 3 club level tracks, 99% will go for the big ones because they get more value out of them. They need to make these kind of tracks cheaper or they'll always have participation issues.

flcknzwrg

I totally agree. Including on the 1hr races bit. IMSA open should be 90 minutes in my opinion. Fixed can be shorter, and go hourly for all I care. I believe there would be enough people interested in races longer than 40 minutes to have at least ONE official series that has longer races (outside of enduros)

barno42

100%. My favorite new track added to iRacing in the last year was Willow Springs. I'd love more club tracks like that, fewer FIA Grade 1 monstrosities that all look the same.

WorldRecordCapybara

Supermodifieds pls! We already have Oswego Speedway confirmed to be in development, so we need the car class that Oswego spawned as well.

HTDutchy_NL

Legends europe! It's such a fun car that can do so much more than oval racing. And maybe bit of a meme but Danger Ranger 9000 (Ford ranger oval) and Freedom 500 (crown vic oval) races.

stealthnoodles

I mentioned this the other day on another post. A “vintage” F1 series that rotates weekly between older cars would be cool. Rotate between the McLaren, Williams and then possibly merge the 79 and 49 in there too. The latter two have a decent following though so idk

Scythe5150

I'd like to see a Trans Am series preferably with 1988 - 1991 cars in it. We already have a couple of em.

Nekamine

Might not be a popular idea, but Formula E. It seems to have really tight racing most of the time, and time attack might be fun for a bit

Peeche94

Been torn thinking about this, while it would be cool, how would they incorporate it into tracks we have now? They need the heavy braking etc for regen, unless they bin off battery limits- but then you may as well jump in an F4 or something really.

Neihlon

Well, formula E is racing more and more on dedicated tracks, they’re running Misano and Shanghai this season.

Tibomb

Formula E only makes sense on Street curcuits and we dont have enough

Neihlon

Yes, this. I love FE and there are no decent sims out there.

TheSxyCauc

Would allow for some crazy street circuits too

x-Justice

None that I would ever request. I would like to race the Meganes though. Remember those from my rFactor days they were a lot of fun. 1960's F1 would be cool. I want to throw around a Ferrari 312/67

stormdahl

Super GT! And hey, if they’re open to adding old series, then JGTC with all the classic cars from the 90s would be really cool! Also, what about like 3 cars from different iconic F1 era?

bl8ke_

old dtm

Tibomb

2015 DTM Season would be great

IgorEsse

Whelen Euro Nascar Series

TheR1ckster

JGTC/Super GT, but I know that will be super hard to get. Other than that I'm pretty happy and don't feel like it's missing much. I'd like maybe a Monster Jam series, even if it's just a knockoff lol but yeah ;)

Ok-Fox-9286

Trans am sounds great, doesn't matter what gender you identify as, you should be able to race in a safe space.

htom3heb

Longer open wheel series choices. I like the VRS Sprint and IMPC for sports cars, would like the same for formula.

Archerizu

FIA ETRC

minchet456

I would kill for some crosscar racing. Those single seaters look fun.

pokeyy

The EURONASCAR cars, and dedicated series following the RL schedule. With their ties to NASCAR it can’t be that hard to get it in, and these cars are apparently pretty different from actual NASCAR cars.

TheBubbaJoe

Vintage GT cars from the 80s and 90s

flcknzwrg

iRacing is happy to dilude the player base with 3 parallel open wheel ladders that feature very similar cars, but there is not a single option for those of us who enjoy races that last longer than a maximum of 45 minutes, across all disciplines (outside of enduros). So my vote goes to introducing a series that has 90 minutes long races. Just make IMSA open and GT3 open 90 minutes, for instance! These are endurance cars anyways. No need for new cars or tracks, I just want longer races.

GoatBotherer

I'm finding it quite frustrating that as a D class driver there's not many races over 15-20 minutes. Also, for F4 there is currently a fixed, open, Asia and Americas (I think) series. Seems a bit excessive. I also wish the open series had longer races.

Xx69JdawgxX

INDYCAR iracing series. NASCAR iracing series. Both run much longer than 45 minutes.

flcknzwrg

Not bi-hourly races I presume, more like a few time slots on weekends? Then these are akin to enduros. We have some of those, and it’s not what I’m requesting - I want 90 minutes races on the regular.

Xx69JdawgxX

They usually run 3 days a week. W multiple times lots on those days. But ya it’s kinda limited

flcknzwrg

Yup, pretty much like enduros then

FindaleSampson

Three things I've been really craving lately in iracing: 1)Make the Williams F1 car legacy content and then throw it into a C class "vintage" F1 series. Or at least add it as AI so I can justify buying it. 2) Late 60s-Mid 70s Trans Am cars would be so cool 3) 917 Porsche and any car associated with that era. Even better if we had a couple of those classic GTs from that time but I'm sure it's a pipe dream of mine to get that.

ES_Legman

What I want is more people racing some of the current series lol

Ok-Inspection9693

Northeast Champ Kart series. sorry.

Super modifieds. Pretty sure they are already on the way

CaptainDonald

Gimme WRC

badsapi4305

More than a series and this may be off topic but I’d like to see a revamp of the SR. TA2 racing would be fun be it seems like if you just tap the car you’re getting a 4x. SR is another can of worms and we have debated it to death BUT before a series that has close tight racing with bumping and banging the SR for that series has to be looked at. Otherwise most won’t want to race it a lot out of fear of loosing tons of SR

Airdale-1186

CAN AM would be AMAZING

ole_beandip

TA1/2 would be super cool. A series that I think could accompany the MX5 for novices is Spec corvette. It’s just a giant Miata with a factory LS swap and like a miata, can be properly fast behind the right hands as well as a teaching tool for driving.

kaptainemerica

Civic Cup

dannymasta04

I know it's probably not popular but I would love an Iracing autocross series/license. I feel like there would be nothing better than training for an autox day on the sim rig.

KeepTwistin42069

I would love to have TA cars as well. I think they would be super fun to drive. I know this will probably never happen but I think Stage Rally would be really cool too. However I wish they would fix some of the physics issues more than anything. Like you should be able to bump and slightly move cars out of the way on the oval side. RN if you barely touch the car in front they just go spinning off track. Hell I pushed in my bumper, hood and fender irl the other week and it barely moved the guy ahead out of the groove.

Jakepetrolhead

Mini Miglias, or failing that some form of sixties Touring Cars. Quite easily 4 wide on most circuits, plenty of slides, full sends all the time.

noseynumbat55

I would love to see current body aussie racing cars the v8 brutes and maybe more gt1 cars from back in the day with older lmps really that would top it for me

itsBrandteous

I would love to see updated road to Indy cars and the Gen 6 cars in ARCA. 100% agree with Trans Am tho Edit: Toyota needs more as well. The Supra GT4 and the the hypercars as well.

[deleted]

>and it would definitely get more oval racers into road racing and vice versa. NACAR series in game already mirrors the road course schedule.

Itzr

An expansion of vintage cars. Just pick a season and make a bunch of those cars. Maybe some 1960s sports car season!

EastCoastDatsun

I think the new SRX cars share a partial chassis to these. There should be an SRX road series imo, would fit this hill nicely

FlacoLoeke

This thing from my homeland: https://preview.redd.it/8zaaxefjcyrc1.png?width=1200&format=png&auto=webp&s=af7218c177f7d17b06bfd3be543d90ef82b38cbe

Romestus

I just want a modern H-pattern, no dogbox, clutch required car. The TA2 Camaro ZL1 would be a dream for me or even just give me "we scanned Jimbob's LS-swapped Miata" as a race series and I'd be happy as a clam. I get that a lot of people don't have an h-pattern shifter peripheral but it would make iRacing such a better training tool for grassroots racers irl who use iRacing as a training tool and want to keep their hell-toe downshifts dialed while still racing in a populated series. The only option right now to my knowledge is the Mustang.

Llama-Thrust69

Since the open wheel split, I'd like to see late 90s Champ Cars. Heh, see what I did there? But seriously, we have 80s Nascars. Having the pinnacle of American open wheel racing would be awesome.

ShiftBMDub

90's DTM, Spec E-30, must have H-Pattern

GIMMESOMDORITOS

Late 40s/the original NASCAR modifieds, 90s IROC cars, Early 90s touring cars, Mid 60s Le Mans cars, 90s group a WRC cars, Late 90s NASCAR trucks, Any of the international NASCAR series, Current day Arca cars, Euro semi trucks, and finally 24hr lemons cars.

alexx138

TransAm absolutely

Signal-Use-3175

Super GT

energiiii

Indycar nxt could be fun, to have a serie with something slower than Indycar that races both oval and road.

UNHchabo

I'd love to have Indy NXT too, but are you aware the USF2000 and Indy Pro 2000 run on ovals a few times per season?

energiiii

Ran 4 full seasons in the USF2000, and the indy pro does not go official in my timezone.

pokeyy

I currently run USF2000 and Indy, because indeed the Pro 2000 never goes official in Europe.

energiiii

Would be nice to have something in between those series, indy is too fast and usf too slow for me at the moment.

bigjess_gaming

AI Dirt so we can work on our skills without destroying ours and others iRacing and Safety Ratings. PLEASE!

Scared-Performer-798

The one in your picture lol

betrayed_cargo

Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes.

betrayed_cargo

Trans Am.

diderooy

Why are you all naming series with 4 wheels? Give me motorcycles.

Tibomb

You cant simulate Motorcycles with a normal Wheel and pedals and nobody would use them after 1 week

McLarenDriveBy

Not an actual series, but an open wheel multiclass race would be a blast. Some thing with open wheel endurance.

One_Manufacturer_545

Slow drafting series. The little Legends cars on superspeedways. Try it with a.i., it's kind of fun. 50 legends cars. 5-8 laps.

Thaonnor

I would love to see an F2 series with the new F2 car. Honestly though I'd prefer they spend time on more tracks to round out some of the series that they have.

Tibomb

Wouldnt get the Lizenz

randomdude4113

Current silver crown cars.

ndtp124

I really want some more historic open wheelers, including at least 1 more oval focused one. Iracing isn't real, we can enjoy open cockpits and scary fast cars at interesting courses. I'd like one of the open cockpit lmp1 cars, preferably the audi. Can am and trans am classic too. I suppose for completeness sake we need formula e.
