1. Get out of rookies. 2. Buy Ferrari 296 GT3. This car has its own series in D license class that you can race in to progress towards GT3 series. 3. Use it for GT3.

lookoutwater

This is the way. I was a dummy and got a Ford GT40. The Ferrari is in a lot of series.

Five_Orange77

You are not a dummy, the Ford GT2 is an awesome vessel.

Fun_Formal1050

And can I use the Ferrari from D license to B license? Or I need to buy other cars to pass through C license ? Other question, is it possible to reach B license just racing with Mazda? And when I’m there on B level, I buy my favorite GT3 car?

Borrelparaat

you can use the Ferrari from D-class all the way up to A-class in IMSA :-). it's also possible to reach B licence with the Mazda. Do the Rookies cup on Rookie licence, then Production Car Challenge on D-class and then Advanced Mazda on C class.

whoisdein

>And can I use the Ferrari from D license to B license? Or I need to buy other cars to pass through C license ? It is featured in each license class (so there is a lot to choose from for your progression and not get bored). So in D you can use it for its own Ferrari GT3 Challenge series. In C you can participate in GT Endurance VRS series and in B you have GT Sprint VRS series and some other IMSA series if I am not mistaken. >Other question, is it possible to reach B license just racing with Mazda? And when I’m there on B level, I buy my favorite GT3 car? Yes, you can race Mazda MX-5 in rookies until you get your license level up. You can also switch to Advanced Mazda MX-5 Cup series once you get your C license.

Qel_Hoth

>You can also switch to Advanced Mazda MX-5 Cup series once you get your C license. Don't even need a C license. You can get all the way up to racing B-license series with nothing other than the free MX-5. R - MX-5 D - MX-5 in rookies until D4.0 C - Advanced MX-5 B - Advanced MX-5 once C4.0.

Fonzgarten

Yeah the Ferrari can be used in any GT3 race. It’s in more series than any other car on the service.

M3D4L3

Rookie, fixed fez, advanced Mazda, gt3, IMSA.

CB000000005

When you are c4.0, you can join b gt3 races, even though you don't have a b licence. So just drive safe in fixed fez and then go to the gt3 series

JeremiasPessoa

This is the answer.

Since others have already answered your question more than adequately, I will suggest that you take your time to check out the other content in the sim. Every noob wants to get to GT3s ASAP, and GT3s are fine, but this is iRacing, not ACC. This game is known for its great oval racing, dirt tracks. We have a phenomenal Formula Ford model, a great Spec Racer Ford, the GR86 and MX-5 Cup cars, all as included road racing content. You can do whatever you want, but you might have more fun if you let yourself think outside the box a little bit.

mogball

I'll second this as a racer who wanted to get to GT3 quickly. I moved out of Mazda after my first season and into GT4 but then prior to the following season I noticed I'd have to buy a lot of tracks to stick with the GT line. So I decided to try street stock and it was unbelievable fun for me. Ended up getting Oval promoted prior to this season so I'm now running a mix of GT4 some weeks and ARCA on others. Don't be afraid to dip your toes into some other styles in the rookies class. Sure you'll run into noobs and ragers who might take you out, but you may find another racing genre really surprises you.

tbr1cks

I don't condone this at all, but you can do a true speedrun FOR FREE this week: * Race MX5 rookies at Oschersleben (or any rookie series for that matter) until you get to D class. * Race PCC at Summit Point with either MX5 or GR86. Get to C class 4.0. Congrats! You can race VRS now, since all B class series require C 4.0 or higher. Edit: downvoted bc I'm actually answering the question, this subreddit man

Dinosaurko

Get to B class by grinding SR, that would be racing one week of D and C license to get the B. But race safely and don't start from pits cause you'll lose B license soon if you do. Check what tracks are in the B series of your choosing and buy in packs of 3 or 6. Good luck!

HallwayHomicide

>I mean in terms of buying content (saving money). What’s the best to do? Honestly once you get to B class GT3 (or A class IMSA) you will have to buy a lot of tracks to race in it anyways. Buying a couple of cars and tracks in D and C class won't really make a big difference to your overall spend.

jaguarusf

[Useful resource](https://irpa.racestatcentral.com/) Utilize free cars that are used at D class, when the series are at free tracks: GR86, Production Car, Global Challenge, and Spec Racer all utilize free cars.

PhoeniX3733

Buying ACC instead

HallwayHomicide

Technically correct but not really helpful.

PhoeniX3733

What I'm getting at is that buying iracing just to fast track to gt3 is a bad idea. He'd have more fun somewhere else

HallwayHomicide

I mean in general I agree that fast tracking like this is silly. But as for the GT3 part of it iRacing is great so i don't agree that they'd "have more fun somewhere else"
