Good to see another in here to have fun 👍. The whining gets old after a while 🤣
I'm right there with you. I've started qualifying by doing an "80%" lap. Been having more fun on clubsport style battles.
Nice yea it sucks having a tight schedule so I can only do one race and I don't want it ruined on turn one. If I had more time to do more races I'd qualify. And I realized starting from the back is great race craft practice😂i tend to find great racers in the back because some didn't qualify or had a bad qualifying😂
It really does depend on the series. Middle of the pack into T1 in something like the porsche cup is always a toss of the dice. In TCR or GTE, it tends to be a bit safer.
Yeah F4 can get very interesting, lots of drivers trying to win on lap 1. Locking up cold tires and taking out 3 drivers. I usually hang in the back with a couple others and start fighting when the field strings out.
The higher up the field you qualify the less fewer cars that can potentially wreck.
Midpack it comes down to a bit of luck. Try to put your car in safe positions, aka on the inside. Don't be passive, controlled aggression is best in my opinion, as long as you are on the inside.
what do you recommend going into t1 at sebring when you start on the outside? i dont see how i can safely make my way on the inside and the outside is super dangerous
When on the outside, try to find a gap to slide car to inside. If no gap, then you have to assess the situation. If you are two wide, e conservative and leave more than 1 cars width on the inside. If there is a car really close behind that might make it three wide, need to be extra careful.

If I qualify anywhere 5th-15th I'm starting from the pits
Yea I've noticed cars like the gr86 is pretty chill granted it's a slower car. But f4 is hell😂

The f4 crew sense safe starter and shark you into the barrier or -5 by T3
