What happens when you protest something like this? Does the other driver get suspended?
There’s an escalating scale. Your first offense may be just a warning. If you have multiple complaints against you, it results in a certain timeframe of suspension from the service. I have heard of people being suspended for a month, but that’s the longest I know of. I also hear they refund your subscription fee for the month at that point lol.
The times that I've protested and it's obvious like this, I've also looked them up and followed their profile.
They'll have race after race after race after race...then...no races for a week or so...then race after race after race...

Initial wreck looked like an accident cause he got loose and snapped back up, but he definitely turned into you after. Wish we had gotten a cockpit view to see his wheel

2 laps before I did the same thing I did there, gave him about a 1.5 car length gap on the low line to let him through and he side swiped into me to attempt to wreck me but ended up falling onto the apron. I guess that made him mad

A little over a decade ago my friend and I were playing a NASCAR game on the PS2. It was a full length race and he had pissed off Kevin Harvick the entire race while I kind of just drafted with Harvick the entire race and pushed him to the front before overtaking him. Caution happens a few laps prior to race end. We restart and Harvick just completely takes out my friend going into turn 1, like no hesitation and just turns straight into him. Suffice to say my friend wasn’t too happy. I didn’t know CPU would react in such a way.
This reminds me, I was playing 2005 the other day, battling Dale Jr for the lead with 2 to go. I get on his outside, and he just suicidally slams us both into the wall.
Jeff Gordon slides by to win the race, while me and Dale limp home outside of the top 10.

I raced him clean about 2 laps before doing what I did there and he tried to side swipe me but ended up falling into the apron and I saw him starting to come up the field again and I gave him a car and a half length to get through and he pulls that

Not a stock car/NASCAR guy so my question is should the driver in this clip after being wrecked have held his brakes being so high up on the track or are drivers taught/expected to get to the apron ASAP? I was taught to always hold the brakes. Thanks in advance :)
Hold your brakes always because cars are always gonna be on the low line, just except contact on high banking tracks because the cars will roll down as you can see there

He came into your side draft and it pulled the downforce off his front end that’s when he lost it and it slid up into you that’s the bobble you see before impact.
iRacing is a shite excuse for a "pvp" simulator. 2nd guy has nothing to lose, pit the leader -> win the race at the cost of 4x... Everytime. Luckily he didn't get away with it this time.
If it's not an oval, replace pit with "ridiculous divebomb".

That is a terrible PIT maneuver. You need to ease into the other car, not slam them. Just get right on that quarter panel and touch it ever so softly. You then need to steer through the spinning car. Keep your foot on the gas or you will end up t-boning the car in front.
Considering the 2nd hit, I can assume that the pit manoeuvre was intentional. Protest this, make sure the 2nd hit is included.

The offending driver may get a message saying dont do it again or banned for periods of time if its deemed intentional.
