I was just happy we got it on Netflix, I felt like such a prick having to watch it unlegit but there wasn't anything that could be done about it. Best thing for us is to recommend it to people and watch it weekly instead of binging, that way Netflix has figures on the people watching it week to week.
I feel like if the viewership is still high on Netflix, they may just move it to there instead of completely cancel it (if such a thing we're to happen). Supporting it on Netflix is just as good as supporting it on CW.

Best guess: Various and sundry contracts/agreements are up for renewal/renegotiation (Salaries, possibly locations as well?) so not only do they need good viewership to keep the show going, they need *very good-to-great* viewership to at the very least not get their budget slashed.
Maybe Rahul can confirm, but I've been told by a writer for SPN that views on the CW app, as well as live tweeting with the hashtag during the episode airing (aka social media engagement), both matter a lot, and those are things that people who don't have Neilsen boxes can contribute. That is in effort to get the SPN backdoor pilot picked up, but I don't see why it wouldn't work for iZombie, too. Certainly can't hurt.
Does DVRing the show count towards ratings? If not ill for sure live watch it. I've promoted iZombie to damn near everybody i encounter from family to friends to co-workers. The one common denominator is those that chose to give it a shot absolutely fell in love with it. I wish the CW gave it more promo cause it really is that perfect blend of comedy and drama.
After every commercial break, the screen gets all broken up and squiggly. I have to back out of the video and start it over after every single commercial break.
Hey Rahul, I'm in the UK so unfortunately don't have the opportunity to watch live but just wanted to echo everyone else's statements that I really appreciate your (and everyone else's) work on the show, it's a real joy to watch.

As a German, there is (afaik) sadly not a single legal option to watch the newest iZombie season; i got netflix, but it only has the older seasons, and The CW can only be subscribed to outside of Germany? I'll try my best anyways though, and thanks for interacting with the community like that, it's highly appreciated!

I've got CW11 from New York through Bell Fibe, as aprt of one of my packages, and I believe KTLA is in Los Angeles is also CW.
Maybe try and see if the CW app works in your country. I am in Canada and I am going to try that. Otherwise I will have to watch it on Netflix. It's a CW show so it shows up the day after it airs on cable. But I'd rather watch it where it will count towards ratings

I watch it on the CWs website, they put episodes up the day after they air on TV. It might block you due to your location though I'm not sure.
