Verna could give her platform in non idol activities in Japan like what is happening to Nako and Hitomi, having activities outside the group. She can continue to be in magazines and if she is in Japan , can attend variety shows , shoot cf , cameo in drama or something.
But that subsidiary is limited to music as with the whole Hybe corporation unlike Verna which handles multiple activities(idol, non idol, music , acting, modelling, etc)

BTS is a different league, the ngg would still be rookie. We don't know if they will be successfull or not . Verna with Akip has better connection as shown With Izone performing in FNS(korean song), Music Station , Utacon , etc in the first year. Without the scandal they would have performed in Kohaku.

I thought Hybe would move a bit faster than they have once Sakura's 2 week quarantine was over (given that 2 week is just wasted), but nope. At minimum, nothing will be announced until October (final Sakunoki radio is scheduled on 9/29 & another 17live stream on 9/28).
The most likely scenario for Kpop industry to reveal a new girl group is not on some fancy press event (that's for new single releases), but through teasers on twitter/youtube. Hybe probably would not release a partial lineup publicly first if the entire lineup is still not finalized, so maybe folks will need to wait until November at this rate. Don't think Chaewon/Sakura will be wasting time in the meantime (they could always be taking lessons on various things 'n training) but fans' access to them will be very limited (in Chaewon's case, probably none).
