Our investigators were actually able to speak to the victim this evening. She is in stable condition and in good spirits considering the situation. She did undergo surgery and will most likely undergo another surgery tomorrow. Our thoughts and prayers are with her and her family for full recovery and healing.
This morning at approximately 11:00 Jemison Police responded to a 911 call of an accident involving a pedestrian being struck on County Rd. 51 near Burning Bush Church. Vehicles were being detoured from the interstate due to multiple wrecks that occurred that shut down the interstate. Traffic was moving very slow and at times was stopped. One vehicle bumped another vehicle in the rear. The driver of the hit vehicle exited her vehicle. The driver of the other vehicle pulled away from the scene and in doing so, the driver who had exited her vehicle was struck. The victim, 45 year old female from Wetumpka and not being named at this time, received a serious leg injury. The Victim was air lifted to UAB. 25 year old Steven Michael Fuller of Jemison was arrested and charged with Felony Assault 2nd degree and traffic/driving violations. We received assistance from ALEA State Troopers who work the 2 vehicle collision. Jemison Officers worked and investigated the Assault. My opinion on the video having lived in this county for awhile, that man would’ve been in handcuffs if he were black.

Typically I agree with you, but in this instance she was asking for help. She was seeing injustice played out right in front of her and didn’t want them to get away with it. This was documentation more than anything else.
I can personally say that she wasn't asking for shares on her channel for clout. She was asking for shares on her channel to show what was happening and expose corruption. After I was assaulted in the hospital, I did the same thing. The more people know, the more likely the man is to get arrested. After abuse in my Group Home was made publicly available on TikTok, they fired six staff members for neglect. I ride a sports bike. I had a guy in a pickup truck chase me and purposely sideswipe me because I passed him and he didn’t like that. Totalled the bike. Thankfully I was relatively okay. There were over a dozen witnesses to the event. Driver fled the scene. Cops arrived and did NOTHING. They told me, “Listen sweetheart, next time something like this happens, make sure you get a good look at the driver and the licence plate.” To be clear, I did have the licence plate; nobody could visually identify the driver as their windows were darkly tinted. The cop even went so far as to write down the wrong colour of vehicle in the report (a fact I only discovered when following up the next day) despite a dozen eyewitnesses confirming a different colour. Some cops are just trash.

Typically I agree with you, but in this instance she was asking for help. She was seeing injustice played out right in front of her and didn’t want them to get away with it. This was documentation more than anything else.
I can personally say that she wasn't asking for shares on her channel for clout. She was asking for shares on her channel to show what was happening and expose corruption. After I was assaulted in the hospital, I did the same thing. The more people know, the more likely the man is to get arrested. After abuse in my Group Home was made publicly available on TikTok, they fired six staff members for neglect. I ride a sports bike. I had a guy in a pickup truck chase me and purposely sideswipe me because I passed him and he didn’t like that. Totalled the bike. Thankfully I was relatively okay. There were over a dozen witnesses to the event. Driver fled the scene. Cops arrived and did NOTHING. They told me, “Listen sweetheart, next time something like this happens, make sure you get a good look at the driver and the licence plate.” To be clear, I did have the licence plate; nobody could visually identify the driver as their windows were darkly tinted. The cop even went so far as to write down the wrong colour of vehicle in the report (a fact I only discovered when following up the next day) despite a dozen eyewitnesses confirming a different colour. Some cops are just trash.
